Stayed at the Harbour Grand for 7 nights and loved every minute. Booked a Harbour Club Harbourview room direct with the hotel and found all the extras of booking the Harbour Club room made the stay even more special. First off you get your own check in area on the 18th floor, although the front desk is very efficient with helpful staff. We enjoyed the included breakfast every day which more than set us up a busy day exploring Hong Kong. Because it was a Harbour Club room you get unlimited connections to the wifi, perfect for iPhones and iPads. The speeds were more than adequate. Also between 3pm and 5:30pm you can enjoy afternoon tea with a selection of cakes, finger sandwiches and soft drinks plus tea and coffee. There was also fresh scones, jam and cream. in the evening you are treated to a light refreshments between 6pm and 8pm with soft drinks, wine and beer. A truly great way to start your evening if you are off to one of the many markets in Kowloon. On top of all that was the wonderful view from our room across Kowloon Bay and Victoria Harbour. We loved watching all the boats of all different sizes sailing by including the Junk. Our room was huge with a large bed, seating area and desk in front of the large windows. The hotel is in a great location, less than 5 minutes to Whampoa MTR station enabling you to get around. There is also the hotel free shuttle that leaves every 20 minutes to the centre of Kowloon. Our trip to Hong Kong was truly a holiday of a lifetime and made all the more special due to staying at the Harbour Grand Kowloon. Collapse

Coming from the okura hotel in macau the night before we were in for a chocker arriving to this "luxury" hotel.. Apart from the world class lobby and pool area this is a quite poor hotel. We arrived and was sent to our room after being subject to 3000hk$ in deposition for a three nights stay which is quite funny because even if we'd stole everything in our room it wouldnt be worth the deposition. The ac adjustment unit was broken, room smells odd, some mold alike was growing on the glass ceiling in shower and the windows, im not kidding you, havent been cleaned for the last century. Apart from that the room and corridors have a very runned down feeling to it. After complaints we were offered a new room which we checked out only to discover it was more of the same hence we decided to stick with our room and get the ac unit fixed which they also did quickly. Location is ok but not great, tough you can access a really nice harbour walk from the hotel which leads you all way down to Kowloon pier which i can really recomend you. Its not a catastrophe by any means but this hotel beeing quite expensive AND carry a 5-star it is really not good enough. You should keep your money and go for any 3-4 star hotel more central and get the same or most likely a better experience. Just to give an example they charge you 75$ for 1l of water (not champagne or something else) from the mini bar. Collapse

Since the last upset visit with the HarbourGrand Kowloon Hotel with the Disturbance with the DND sign illuminating while Hotel Staff ignore the Do Not Disturb Sign. My family decide to give them a final try since their tremendous location wile the Whampoa MTR station is up and running. We booked through Sales Rep Venus Chan and booking was straight forward along with RDM Tady Cheung assist. We ere originally wanted to book on 19/20 floor with a kitchen. But they both advised us that the both floor will have a lot of noise due to renovation is in progress. Our family have took their advise and booked a room on the 16 floor without a kitchen. It was so nice the minute when we entered the room with a welcoming fruit plate and a card which was written totally the wrong name on the card from the GM, which we think which is really rude for someone who been working in a hospitality field as a GM. The most upset part is that they originally have 6 elevators and 3 of them were block out for maintains for more than 6 weeks. And I been complaining about this issue with the Duty Manager Mariam and RDM Tady Cheung but no one seems to have any answer or feedback for me from the Hotel. And one last thing was the we did complaining with our last stay with the dirty cups was not sanitizing at all, the room service lady while she was cleaning my room, sneak over to others room to just wash the cups and plates without sanitizing. If this issue going to bring my kid a health problems, I am here to reserve my rights to sue HarbourGrand Hotel Kowloon. Here we are with a extremely family in HKG again with the HarbourGrand Kowloon. Hope this will bring to their attention and do something special for the rest of our stay. Collapse

This hotel is across the harbour from Hong Kong city, but everything in Hong Kong city is so accessible by MTR that it is worth it to stay here because the hotel is modern, efficient and has the amenities of large hotels. We did not use the pool, but went up to see it and would have used it if we had time. The rooms are large and clean and if you join the Club, there is a nice welcome snack on arrival. There are free bottles of water supplied so you don't have to go hunting for water. We had coffee and tea in our room - a nice touch that we always enjoy. The hotel is right on the promenade which leads to many attractions and shopping areas. A great walk. We ate at the restaurant a few times for breakfast - too expensive, but we enjoyed the food and the convenience. Collapse

We had a very pleasant 2 nights stay at the Harbour Grand Kowloon. We initially booked the hotel basis value for money compared to same star hotels located more centrally which were substantially more expensive, so we were slightly concerned how far away from the centre we would be. We needn't have worried, as the hotel offers a very convenient shuttle bus that departs and returns regularly and was very easy to take. One of the nights we stayed in the centre after the last shuttle bus came back, but Taxi's are very reasonable in Hong Kong and its literally only a 5 minute ride. Hotel itself was very well maintained and rooms were very clean and had all normal amenities. We had a harbour view room, and the view was amazing. The Roof pool also offered fantastic views over the harbour and was lovely to take a couple of hours out of the day to chill out by the pool. Wifi was provided, but only 2 devices could be connected per room, which was slightly disappointing when one of our rooms had 3 of us staying, meaning that one of us could not connect to the Wifi. To have a limit on amount of devices was disappointing enough but to not be able to extend to at least allow all the guests one device each without incurring a charge was poor. That was my only gripe on an otherwise very nice stay in a lovely hotel. For Value for money alone I would return here when visiting Hong Kong and it really is not that far from the centre at all, so do not be put off by the same. Lovely Stay. Collapse
