There is no better option in Kowloon area to stay apart from this hotel. Super hotel with a fantastic location. Loved the grand lobby and the grand staircase - Very rare to see hotels with that old charm these days. The rooms has an amazing ocean/city/harbor view. Stayed here for 5 nights and I didnt feel like leaving the room in the morning for sight seeing. Its so addictive. You just want to look outside the window and admire the ocean forever The service standards are topnotch and every single staff is helpful and smiling always. The Housekeeping, Concierge and the Doorman gets a special mention here for their service attitude. Now the infinity pool - OMG! I have seldom seen such a beautiful pool and with such a gorgeous view in any of the hotels i have stayed so far! What a place to build a pool and allow your guests to enjoy such an amazing views after a long tiring day. You should definitely not miss visiting the pool during your stay here. It is worth every dollar you paid for the room Very close to MTR and Bus Station. And the hotel offers free shuttle to the shopping area every 15 mins. I took bus ride back to the airport after my checkout and paid just 9$ (Thats a bloody steal i would say). And i just walked 3 mins from the hotel to take the bus:-) A great hotel and highly recommended! Collapse

Not recommended for family with young kids. Distant is too far from the city. Free shuttle service is a walking distance from tim sha shui mtr. Certain areas to the pick up point for the shuttle service is not sheltered hence in cases of heavy rain you will definitely get wet Whampo district is a less attractive shopping location compared to jordan and mongkok. To get to that area from whampo u would need to make a few mtr transfer to troublesome The plus point is that the hotel rooms are bigger other than that nothing worth mentioning :( Collapse

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are big with fabulous views over the harbour. The foyer is very nice with a big sweeping staircase. The dining room is also well placed with superb views over the harbour also. Breakfast is quite expensive however the food is very good and there's plenty of variety. A tip is to go to breakfast well in advance of the restaurant closing time as the food is removed promptly at 10 am which is ridiculous and unfair to those people coming down to breakfast a little late. That's my only complaint as we really enjoyed our stay. The staff are very helpful and the hotel provide a courtesy bus which leave every 20 minutes for the city centre. Would definitely recommend this hotel Collapse

We had a great view (windows, not balconies, sadly), and the room was spacious, comfortable and attractive, as was the hotel in general. It's a bit of a hike from central Kowloon/heart of the harbor, but there's a promenade that will take you all the way there if you want to walk (we did), plus there are shuttles. There's also a ferry station very close by, and the rail system is very convenient. We didn't use the restaurant and instead grabbed breakfasts, coffee, bakery buns and snacks at local places nearby. The hotel staff was professional and helpful. If I have any complaint at all, it would be that the lovely harbor views would have been greatly enhanced by some exterior window cleaning. Collapse

We stayed at the hotel as a family of 5 (3 kids aged 5, 7, and 9) and had interconnecting rooms which is a must for us and was easy to arrange with the hotel. Our main criteria for choosing a hotel was the location and the room setup and on both counts this hotel did us proud. It is a large hotel and very busy but it copes with the volume well and we didn't really find we had to wait or queue for things which was a surprise seeing how busy it was. From a location point of view it is pretty good. The walk along the pathway to Shim Sha Tsui is too far and not picturesque all the way (you have to traverse some highways) so although the distance is walkable it is far better to either take the regular and free shuttle bus or to walk to the metro station which is 2-3 minutes from the hotel. We used the metro regularly but tended to return to the hotel in the evenings via the Star Ferry and the shuttle bus which was a nice way to end the days of sightseeing. From the hotel it takes 10 minutes on the shuttle to the Star Ferry Terminal area. The rooms are functional and clean - but it feels very much like a business hotel rather than a tourist hotel which is fine if you are using it as a base for the City. We had a harbor view room from which you could see most of HK island which was nice. The local area surrounding the hotel has nice shops and restaurants within walking distance at the sort of mid-market level which can make a change from the high end stuff on HK island. All in all a great base for the stay and certainly represents a good balance in value if you don't want to stay in the very centre of Kowloon or HK Island. Collapse
