We stayed here for 3 nights. It is an excellent hotel in all respects. The quality of the rooms was high in terms of comfort and cleanliness, and the had spectacular views out across the water to Hong Kong island. During our stay we ate in the Waterfront Restaurant and the Harbour Grill as well as other outlets. Food quality and range is 5 star. The headline says it all: a truly exceptional hotel. Would I stay there again? Yes without hesitation Collapse

I have been immigrant to YVR Canada since 1989. I come to HKG with my new born and wife to visit my in laws. I booked the Harbour Grand Kowloon with a Sales Rep named VenusI for the period between November 17-December 25. I arrived Harbour Grand on November 17 at 2100 and checked in with a staff named Ivy. She asked us for a emergency contact number and requested us to sign the bottom of the contract without explaining any details while checking in. When we arrived our room, after shower & found out the ventilation system in the bathroom was not operating at all due to the humidity and foggy in the bathroom and my wife and new baby almost slipped in the bathroom We requested the front desk to exchange to another room and they declined. They stated have to wait until our Sales Rep Venus to be on duty tomorrow in order to exchange room. Fortunately, the following day Venus did arrange a room change for us due to their failure of ventilation in the bathroom. On November 19, we decide to go Macau to watch the Annual Races and we left at around 1800. At that time , we have advised the front desk staff that we are leaving Macau for 2 evenings and they had left the Do Not Disturb Sign illuminated. And we came back to the Harbour Grand on December 21 at 1500. And we noticed right away there is thing missing. Before we left for Macau, my wife had hand-washed a shirt for me and hanged by the air-conditioning vent to dry. The first thing we noticed was the shirt was missing, so we contact the front desk. Cindy(FOM) stated there is a air-conditioning water leak in our room and they admitted they went into the room with a DO Not Disturb Sign illuminated and without any of our consent/phone calls, and they took(Stole)my shirt without any consent at all which they stated the water leak messed up my shirt. Is that consider "STOLEN"? We seriously felt our privacy been disrespect, so we decided to call the police and document this matters for us. There were 2 police office appeared in our room and we stated that our privacy been disrespect and properties been stolen. They did provide us with a police file number from HungHom Police Station. We trying to seek for a reasonable compensation, but Cindy decline and only offer us a wine and fruit plate which we declined. One day, I ran into Mr.Pottinga who is GM of the hotel, he notify me that he knew about the incident and told me that's the hotel policy to go into guest's room with a DO Not Disturb Sign Illumunating without any consent/contact and remove my properties. He argue with me in the lobby while there is Tady (RDM)there, and tons of hotel guests in the lobby. Seriously GM argue with a guest in the lobby????I advised him that I will escort this matters to Hutchison Hotel Group and he did not seems to be care. On December 8 at 1900, we came back to the hotel after shopping, walked by the concierge desk and heard a staff named Paul who swear left and right at the staff counter, while I was carrying my new born. I hate to see my new born to learn that dirty habit from this hotel staffs. So I complained to a Manager name Kelvin about this staff. Overall all I would rate this hotel a 2 stars hotel. Here we are seeking for help for compensation and found out I can write reviews on TrIp Advisor, HK Hotel Association, HK Tourist Bureau. Here is my 2 cents, for tourists who love to visit this beautiful city would STAY AWAY from this 2 stars hotel due to Privacy respect and stolen property. I couldn't believe Mr Lee Ka Shing would run a hotel in a disrespect way. Hope that Hutchison Hotel Group would deal with this matter before we check out. And I will continue to spread this matters to media until Hutchison Hotel Group contact us. Poor management will just draw your business and reputation down, Mr Lee. Collapse

We were en route to Australia and decided to stop over in Hong Kong rather than Singapore for a change. We spent three nights in this hotel, long enough to get over jet lag from the UK. We had booked the hotel through British Airways and the hotel arranged for a limo to meet us from the flight, just what we needed after the 13 hour flight. The hotel's Reception was very efficient and, by pre-ordering breakfast we had a substantial reduction on the normal price. Our room, on the 19th floor was large and well equipped with a huge king sized bed and a magnificent, large window which looked due east out of Hong Kong harbour. The bathroom was similarly large and well equipped, a notable feature being the large mirror, heated from the back which did not get covered in condensation. The room also had a large, easy to operate, safe. Breakfast served both European and Asian food and was very efficient. However, it closed at 10.00am, a bit early for us "stop-overs". The hotel runs a shuttle bus every 20 minutes to/from the ferry quay over to Hong Kong island and it ran to time all of the time. Check-out was fast and the concierge was happy to hail a regular taxi to take us to the airport Collapse

This is a great spot in Hong Kong to stay, not right in the middle of it all but with a free shuttle bus to/from just off Nathan rd. every 20 mins or so. you have the best of both worlds. Nice quiet location on the harbour, jump on the bus and in 10 min you are shopping. Also a new metro station just 1 block away. Rooms are probably due for a update soon but still well looked after with plenty of space. Roof top was amazing to look at. Food was good but at this stage of our trip I was over eating, so probably didn't enjoy it as much as I should have. Service was good with all team members we spoke with. No Balconies so if you smoke and ask for a smoking room expect that you will live with a terrible smell for your stay. We both smoke and couldn't stand it, so we changed rooms (originally thought there was a balcony to smoke on.) Collapse

We loved our stay at the Harbour Grand Kowloon Hotel. The location is great and it is so easy to get to Tsim Sha Tsui on the complimentary bus which runs very frequently. It is well worth paying extra for a harbour view room as there is always so much to see from the room and the rooftop swimming pool. The staff were all very helpful and courteous. Collapse
