This hotel was modern and comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to the train station and about 20 minutes by car to the airport. I was able to walk to many of the main attractions such as Old Town Warsaw and The Palace of Culture and Science. The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful. They had maps to help us get around, and the breakfast was well worth the time. I would highly recommend! Collapse

This hotel delivers on what this american traveler is looking for. English is spoken by all the staff I have talked to. Clean, bright, happy facility which is a nice contrast to all the bland, austere, soviet era architecture in Warsaw. The exercise room is large, clean, well equipped and air conditioned. The breakfast situation is one of the best I have experienced in europe. Big airy room with floor to ceiling windows. Very expansive buffet with tons of fresh fruit. Four coffee machines so no waiting for your morning brew. Rooms are standard Hampton/Hilton with very nice beds. This is a quiet area of town so sleeping was just like being at home. Nice. Very nice. My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and the hotel is real easy to find. We got the S3 Train from Chopin Airport to Warsawa Centralna which is only a 25mins journey and costs 4.40zl equates to about 95p. You can also take the 175 bus outside the airport for the same price but the lady at the public transport booth in the Airport Arrivals Hall where you can conveniently buy your train tickets advised taking the train was quicker and that helped us come to our decision. Once you get off at Warsawa Centralna (normally platform 1) follow signs for Al Jana Pawla which is the main street leading you to the hotel. This will take you through multiple connected subways with shops all the way through to the end and is the only method to cross those main roads. Once you go back above ground (Sphinx Restaurant Exit) you will not miss the Hampton Hotel Building which is only about a 5 mins walk. A tip though when you need to buy the return train ticket to Chopin Airport - do not buy at the ticket offices you see with long queues all the time in the subways as they are for intercity lines. You can buy it from the paper shops scattered about the station ie 1 minute shop. The hotel reception is located on the 1st floor strangely but the staff were nice and friendly and offered us a complimentary drink at the bar for being Hilton Honour Members. If you want a city view, try to ask for a room on the higher floor. We were assigned 16th floor and that gave us a nice view of the city. The room although was a bit small in size, was clean, new and modern looking and had a safe, coffee/tea making facilities, TV, iron & aircon. The bed was big and the mattress was firm and comfortable. Wifi was strong and connected at all times. The bathroom was spacious but we found the sink was ridiculously too far back as the vanity table was too deep which meant you were dribbling water onto the table instead of the sink when brushing your teeth and wetted my clothes. Also the position of the socket for the hairdryer was located underneath the mirror which was quite awkward to plug in and seemed pretty dangerous cos you could easily knock the dryer into the sink. One thing we were disappointed they did not live up to the Hilton Standard was no toothbrush and toothpaste were provided despite supplying shampoo, conditioner, body wash and even body lotion. The breakfast included had a good choice of hot and cold varieties, fruit, yogurt and drinks but must comment that the bacon was very greasy everyday we were there. This sure needs improving however, the breakfast was so filling that we didn't eat any lunch at all during our stay which saved us a few bobs. As for access to shops, transport and sightseeing, there is a big shopping complex right opposite Centralna Station which closes late everyday of the week about 9pm. It consists of a large food court that offers loads of varieties including KFC, BK, Pizza, Japanese, Thai, etc so you won't have problems finding places to eat and there is a Carrefour Supermarket and a Rossman Pharmacy situated on the lower ground floor so really convenient to buy daily essentials. Polish beer is surprisingly cheaper than soft drinks, cheapest we found about 51p for a 500ml can so we were drinking different types of beer everyday which is a first for us cos we normally don't drink back home. Polish beer aint bad at all too. Besides the train we did not use any other public transport as we enjoy the walks so can't comment on trams, buses and taxis. Old Town is literally a 40mins nice walk and the streets are wide, spacious and clean. Most of the other famous landmarks are no more than 45mins walk away. The Palace of Science and Culture is just opposite the Centralna Station and I do recommend viewing and taking pics of it at night time when the lights are switched on if you are there at the weekends because it looks impressive as opposed to the day. Overall we were happy staying at Hampton due to it's low price including breakfast plus the easy access to transport, shops and dining meaning we were able to return to the hotel whenever we felt tired and go back out again later on at night. Besides the price, being centrally located and part of Hilton were two of the main factors we chose this hotel. The area itself felt quite safe even at night and there is a convenience shop just 2 mins away therefore we will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others. You will not regret staying at this hotel. Collapse

This is a well-located business hotel with a good breakfast. Very busy, yet the rooms are quiet. The reception was helpful and friendly, the rooms were spotlessly cleaned and nicely decorated. There are no "Wow" effects, but everything is perfectly ok. The bed is very comfortable, the tv good, the rooms are cleaned and tidied well, the only thing that I didn't like is the lack of the real room service, and I found it very frustrating that the comfortable desk didn't have any obvious USB slots/power sockets. In general - I recommend, but for business and not pleasure. The hotel perfectly does the job! I regret not having a doughnut from the breakfast room ;)! Collapse
