I used this hotel recently on business and on the whole it was fine just a couple of points I'd like to make. I was not welcomed as a silver Honors member and did not get my room request. Room was clean but quite basic, no shower cap in the bathroom or a mini bar. Breakfast was literally awful. It's basically in the lobby, no tables are laid and there is no service. It was rammed with people so was insanely busy and very loud. No one cleared the previous people's dirty plates/cups from our table when we sat down or offered us coffee/juice or even welcomed us to breakfast or checked we were eve from the hotel. It was phenomenally busy with tourists and we very nearly had no where to even sit. The breakfast staff were poor. Most of the breakfast items were empty and after requesting refills of various things and hanging around waiting, I gave up. Collapse

Positives - The included breakfast buffet was incredible and alone would be worthy of 5* - Great selection of food and drinks and clean tables to sit at from 6am until 10pm - Bed was clean however very hard and felt similar to a premier in standard Negative - Shower head did not hold itself up so you had to hold it yourself which after a 6 hour drive to the hotel I was not expecting as I just wanted a nice shower and along with this the water pressure is incredibly low, when I mentioned this I was told that is just how it is around the whole hotel. The extractor fan did not work, leaving the bathroom incredibly damp The curtains had mould over them and when we pulled it across further which was disgusting Upon leaving I mentioned this to the gentlemen at the front desk, we paid before arrival however the front desk clearly states that if the rooms are not clean or staff are not polite and you are not happy they do not expect you to pay - I did not want a free room however the response from the complaint was un-acceptable - I explained my concerns and in response I was told 'I am sorry but you have already paid so thanks for the feedback' - A short course on customer service may be necessary Upon paying £120 for a Queen room at a discounted rate I do not expect to find a room in this state or receive such a careless attitude from the staff - I am glad I did not pay what they may originally charge for this room This room was 207 for reference, avoid this room and maybe even the whole hotel as it was appalling and I am appalled that they deem it acceptable for customers to stay in mouldy rooms with non-working showers. I wish I took photos to evidence but having driven for 6 hours to get to Oxford for a single night in our favourite city it wasn't a priority to let it ruin our time until we checked out the next day and were surprised by the rude nature of the staff. We stayed on Monday 14th of August and checked out at around 9:30am the following day Collapse

Stayed here with my husband and 5yr old son. I have to say for the cost we were really impressed. Its a lively new modern furnished hotel..clean too! Could not fault it at all. The staff were very pleasant indeed and one lady even made me a waffle for breakfast as I joked that I might break the maker! She was a breath of fresh air to chat with! The breakfast was plentiful so much choice you couldnt fault it plus nice strong coffee which i struggle to find at times! We ate at the Frankie and Bennys also at night which was great and 2mins round the corner..walkable! Ps you wont need shampoo conditioner shower gel ladies n gents its all provided plus hairdrier..mine was brand new never been used! Would i stay again...absolutely! Collapse

We stayed for three nights at the end of a four week road trip around UK. We found the hotel quite easily using a Sat Nav, but in fact as it is next to the football stadium it is very easy to follow those signs from the main roads. Check-in was busy when we arrived, but we waited our turn and were pleasantly and efficiently served. Our second floor room was typical of Hampton's, clean, comfortable, well designed, but not over-large. There is a good shower, but no bath. Both the TV and Wifi worked well. Breakfast seemed slightly better than other Hamptons we have stayed in here in UK. There was plenty of seating, and the tables were cleared and cleaned quickly and efficiently. The hotel is close to the ring road, and the Redbridge Park and Ride is only a few minutes drive away. From here busses run to the City Centre every 10 minutes or so during the daytime. To be honest, I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews. The hotel is only 18 months old and more than lived up to my expectations. Collapse

The lady at the reception treated herself as a queen when I requested for earlier check-in. It was an experience full of discrimination to Chinese. Collapse
