Very nice hotel all is okay , I enjoyed with my wife & 3 kids at the beach & sun , we dine at hotel main restaurant , we visited La Perle by dragon “ amazing show “ Salah arrange it for us with bid discount, ahmed at lobby area are nice man with Arabic coffee, we had some requested hundred by Greace from reception over the phone she was nicely and helpful, our suit room in 17 floor was otnyho xopowo , bus free to the city , lot of restaurants near hotel JBR . As most of hotels in Marina having a positive & negative points , location , facilities , swimming pool, restaurant as they having number of shopping corners which is more than enough to enjoy your stay which is positive , we had some issues during our stay , room cleanliness was not well and delayed. We understood that they was busy but they must have more staff to clean the rooms . When we reported to Salah in reception It fixed immediately but the noise from the night club was out of control , shuttle bus to dubai mall & mall of Emirates free & helpful as taxi are available just contact Concierge to be in Safa, staff could not do more to satisfy you but Make sure to meet Salah to solve any problems you have during your stay, Salah helped us to enjoy our stay , he arranged a nice trip to IMG with free transportation, Salah has a magic stick and power to make thing happen. Hotel is highly recommended as one of most beautiful hotels in Dubai Collapse

My husband and I have just returned following a week stay at the hotel and can summarise the sequence of unfortunate events: 1) our tower balcony room - room did not appear to have been sound proofed so we could hear the music from the 'Zero Gravity' club opposite as well as the plane on the beach flying and landing throughout the day. On calling reception at 2am about this they decided to send someone to listen from the corridor to verify our complaint. Obviously this couldn't verify very much as they didn't come to our room. Following this we phoned up after not hearing back and we were offered another room for the rest of our stay. We cannot have been the first guests to have complained about the noise. 2) Shower flooded and toilet blocked- in our new room we had to call the plumber at the hotel as our shower flooded and our toilet was blocked 3) TV and people laughing from next door - on our last night we had to call reception as we could hear the television from next door as well as people laughing. The staff were overall very pleasant , but this cannot take away from the fact that guests expect to sleep as a basic service of a hotel. We were refunded for one night , however I feel that the refund should have been for 2 nights to reflect the fact that we did not sleep for 2 nights. The staff on checking out must have been aware of everything that happened during our short stay as they did not ask how we found our stay - hence - we are writing our review so that future guests are aware of what can happen. I am going to start by saying i would have given this property 4 stars had they handled my room better. I was only staying for 1 night before moving closer to the city center but was put in a room next to where they were performing renovations. I was not able to sleep in as intended as they were banging on the walls at like 6am. I went to the front desk to inform them and they said they would do something about it but the noise continued. After checking out I would have expected some sort of comp o my bill. However, i was just told sorry. Not what i expect for a platinum member. On another note I loved the property and there are plenty of things to do with the beach, tennis courts and lots of restaurants on site. Hopefully the property listened to my recommendation to not place anyone else in the room they placed me in. Collapse

Stayed here for 7 nights in late November and over Dubai's Birthday. This is our 7th time in Dubai, and the 5th different hotel we've stayed at so this review is in context of what other hotels offer. We had a standard sea facing room which was plenty big enough for the two of us. The bed wasn't the most comfortable we've slept on and the (feather free by request) duvet was very heavy. We were on a half-board basis so had breakfast most mornings and lunch most afternoons all on a buffet basis. The food was OK however it was almost always not hot enough. Quite a few reviews below about how wonderful the staff were... perhaps we stayed in a different hotel! The staff were generally polite, but absolutely no one stood out. Nor did it seem like anyone made any effort to make our stay memorable. The only exception to that was that my pre-arrival requests for flowers for my wife's birthday were carried out exactly as I requested. A few examples of where things didn't go quite right... Had to complain 3 times about the air conditioner being stuck on freezing. Eventually offered a room change, but that was the day before we left. No use. It was fixed each time we complained then went faulty again within 12 hours or so. One of the staff at lunch was quite rude, simply banging our glasses down on the table then walking away. Only had her once though. Constantly seemed to have to chase the server staff down who were looking after orders from the loungers around the pool area. The hotel is dated, needs a refurb, but was at least clean and well presented. The corridors look like they've had a refurb recently, but the rooms need to be next on their list. A few folk below complaining about the noise from one of the on site night clubs. I have to say we didn't hear a thing. Even on Dubai's Birthday when the nightclub was absolutely booming, it all stopped by about 11pm. I was pleasantly surprised at that. The hotel's saving grace is its location. Right at the end of The Walk at JBR, means you have access to no end of nightlife, restaurants and cafes. Also the pool area is well laid out and the pool was plenty big enough to accommodate loads of guests, even over the holiday weekend when the hotel was mega busy. I'm not sure I'd stay here again to be honest. There's such a huge range of top class hotels in Dubai. Collapse
