The hotel was good clean, entertainment every night, nice food and good facillities. Few staff were rude and abrubt, would advise to take ear plugs as walls are thin and doors constantly banging!! We were all inclusive but you still had to pay extra for having a safe, wifi and tv remote! Pillows were very thin we had to double them over and use a spare towel as didnt want to get charged for asking for another pillow ....overall nice hotel and location is ideal as minutes from lovely beach would recommend! Having read some of the reviews on here I wasn't expecting too much. Single Dad travelling for the first time abroad with my two boys aged 12 & 10, with my eldest being in a wheelchair. I was so apprehensive about the holiday to the point I questioned the possibility of not going. We arrived at EMA using the meet and greet service which I would recommend. We entered the airport and was greeted by a Jet2 rep who took us to our own check in desk skipping the queues. How Matthew boarded the plane was incredible and both EMA & Jet2 staff were a credit to their organisations. The same has to be said at the Girona end, absolutely fabulous what was i worrying about. We had a short transfer to the hotel stopping at one other hotel en-route. The transfer took approx 40 minutes. We entered the hotel reception and checked in. I purchased the 20 euro wifi fee, which i would recommend the WiFi is excellent and even streamed a football match for my eldest. A tax is payable on arrival which applies to the area and not just the hotel. The reception staff were very pleasant and friendly and explained concisely meal times and the AI card system. Room 156, clean, spacious, pool view and with the biggest L shaped balcony I have seen. The room was served by 4 lifts ideal for a wheelchair. On entrance to the hotel I noticed several ramps to access all areas. Our room was directly above the pool bar - I never heard any noise from the entertainment all week. The hotel was busy, very busy with a holiday makers from many nations, all of whom were very friendly. Having read some reviews I was concerned about the noise at night, but we never heard a thing. I did however, hear other occupants say it was noisy at night but not for us. The pool is great with good entertainment throughout the day, the foam party was amazing and my kids loved it. The pool wasn't busy at all. There is a rush for the pool side sun beds, however you are best positioned to the right of the pool to utilise the sun, so why the rush? The Fenals beach is a two minute walk. A shale beach with wheelchair access, a real gem. However, the pool was so good, we only went one morning when it was cloudy. The food was excellent with A varied choice each day. Many english dishes, but the international cuisine, tapas and salad were excellent. The breakfasts good, i'm not a breakfast person, but noted a good variety, my kids made up for me. All meals are plentiful and you shouldn't go hungry. The selection of Spanish meats I thought was excellent. The kids didn't go hungry and never left a thing. Also, the ice cream tubs are a great idea on a warm day. There was a wide variety of freshly cooked sea food and we really enjoyed the chicken Fajita day. Yes the dining room is busy, but we had a wheelchair and never struggled. I also noted two other guests with artificial limbs who had no problem. During really busy periods we sat in the snack room which was very quiet. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout the week, they couldn't do enough for us, without the felling they were doing it because of Matt in his chair. The drinks were lovely and plentiful and the card system means that there' no litter in communal areas. A nice walk into Lloret town and far enough to be away from the bedlam the resort offers. Our room was cleaned daily together with our bedding and towels. Is the hotel a 4* ? But do I care, we had an absolute amazing time. A family holiday to remember, smile after smile laugh after laugh and lasting memories for years to come. A massive thank you Collapse

After reading reviews I dreaded going here and upon check in i thought all of the reviews about the rude staff were right. However during my weeks stay I realised that they were just rushed off their feet and harassed by the rude (mostly Spanish ) guests. The man on restaurant duty was a happy little souls but didn't get a day off while I was there. The reception handled rude, tired and sweaty guests in a welcome manner and got us through check in as soon as they could. Any complaint about unruly guests were dealt with quickly and efficiently. I witnessed a group of lads who set the fire extinguishers off being ejected swiftly with minimum fuss. The pool was adequate though u had to queue for a bed. And the food was one of the nicest all inclusives we've had. The only downside was the alcohol. Sober all week and had to wander round local pubs to get a bit tipsy. All in all though a great holiday. Oh and we left iPads and watches in the room all week. Not a thing was touched the cleaners were great. You get the same one all week so they know who cleaned your room Collapse

I really disappointed this hotel It is not a 4* hotel. When we arrived we had to waiting about one hour to check in, after we tried to go to have a lunche, but there are big que in front of the hotel's restaurant. All people want to eat, but the restaurant is very small for the guests. The breakfast is good, but the lunch and the dinner is very poor and boring, all the same. The dishes are not delicious. The room is very small. There arent any chair, ther is only a small wardrobe. The bathroom is to small, and not enough clean. The cleaner dont wash everything every day. I really not satisfied with this hotel. I do not reccommand it. The wifi is too expensive and not availablye everywhere. I cant find the proper word for the bar. The staff dont speak engilsh well, the drink is like water, and the environment is really ugly. Not only the bar but also the wholl hotel is furnished by 70s style. Collapse
