Thank you Grand Hyatt for making us happy during our stay. well train staff in the hotel & reception girl Hazel thank you for your hospitality service you are just amazing.thank you all the bell boys , room service F&B service as well Dal makhani was out standing taste was like Michelin star chef recipe. only in collective Restaurant what i found that Indian food was amazing and the others were Arabic , continental Italian below the expectation we had order grill salmon from live station and it was just without flavor. very fast check in , check out and room service delivery. We enjoyed the large pool area. fantastic Morning time there was noisy hammering started but we can understand work is going on it will better if Management can put a notice inside the lift regarding construction work . Definitely we will come back again Collapse

I am a Gobalist member. I booked a few nights in this hotel for my December trip to Dubai. My reservation was made by phone and, due to a mistake made by the person online, I was surpised to see on the confirmation that I had to pay an extra amount of money for a mandatory diner that I never asked for ! (apparently AED 100,000 but I guess this amount is wrong as well...no comment). After waiting 3 weeks after my reclamation, I have been proposed with excuses and 2 offers: 1) Pay the money, 2) Cancel my reservation. This is really the first time I had to deal with such unacceptable solutions, while I just want to sleep at the hotel and not have this diner ! The only other time I had an issue with Hyatt, they offered me a free night as a compensation. They made the mistake, not me. Now I have to switch hotel while travelling with my mom. This really pisses me off. Thanks Hyatt ! Collapse

Before you even enter the Hotel you are struck by its grandeur. The approach is ornate and opulent and sparklingly clean. The greeting you receive from the reception staff could not be warmer and they all spoke flawless English. Everything was explained including that I was booked Grand Club and as such will have use of the Club amenities including 2 hours all inclusive food and drink in the Grand club rooms. My room was Grand club creek which means I had a fantastic view over the Dubai creek which is hugely more spectacular than the name would tend to suggest. The room is huge, fantastically furnished and finished and absolutely spotless. The bathroom is something that I would like in my own home as an en suite, there is a walk in wardrobe a huge but in proportion dark wood desk and getting on to the internet was also made easy. I jumped ahead by talking about the room, as the lifts are fantastically retro, the corridors are hugely impressive and the Lobby is nothing short of outstanding and was my favourite part of the Hotel, that was until I went downstairs to the main food and drink area. The atrium area is so impressive that only pictures will do it justice, and even then I think you will find it better in real life. I did not even count the number of different and varied restaurants and eating establishments situated on the atrium level, truly a sight to behold and even though I only sampled a couple of the items that were available I am unable to do anything other than rave about the quality of both food and service. Breakfast was very good and the choice was excellent and the staff were still helpful and polite and it seemed that nothing was too much trouble for them making this part of my stay an absolute delight. Checking out gave me a chance to explore the rest of the lobby including the stunning piano bar area where I had sat briefly the previous evening whilst flitting about the hotel trying to take in as much of its grandness as possible. When it was time to leave it truly was one of those times when I wish that I was staying for at least another night, if not more as I think I only managed to scratch the surface of the outstanding Dubai Grand Hyatt. It goes without saying that it is on the list to return to, in fact I am already booked in for a brief visit in July. Collapse

We've stayed at this hotel as a family loads of times and it never fails to please. It has massive grounds with a very large pool complex, kids water slides, outdoor football area, tennis courts, kids club, loads of great restaurants and also it's pretty reasonably priced. It's not near the beach but it's well located for tourists to visit the old part of Dubai and Downtown unlike the Palm hotels which are miles away. It's also pretty close to the airport (not that close but probably 15 mins in a taxi) Overall if you're looking for a reasonably priced 5* hotel with loads to do the look no further. Collapse
