The Gran Oasis Resort, located on Golf Las Américas, opposite the fourth green, and with marvellous views of the course, is reminiscent of a small colonial style village, with buildings of one or two floors, surrounded by marvellous pathways and gardens, with a superb collection of tropical palm trees. The resort has all the services you would expect from a first class hotel: restaurant, swimming pool, bar, games room, children's club, putting green, supermarket and the internet in comfortable and spacious facilities.

A good place to stay on the whole. Great food Lovely staff Good location Resort good Only a few negatives. Entertainment finished to early, most nights 11pm everything was being packed away. Music round the pool was hit and miss, couple of days u had it, then silence. Sun beds as usual, sad people up early reserving them and the normal people struggle to get them. Would I stay here again is the question, properly not as pool area packed to much for my liking and overall very busy place. Collapse

A couple of days back home after visiting this fantastic family hotel. We travelled as a family of 6 (Grandfather, my wife, three children and me) and stayed at the resort for two weeks, all inclusive. Before I continue, on behalf of all my family, I say a massive thank you for an amazing two weeks. General A stunning family hotel. Absolutely wonderful staff and a clean, impressive resort. Three lovely pools to cater for all children and adults. Never an issue getting a sun bed (as long as you are up for around 8am). Also, fair rules regarding non - reservation of beds. Our room was lovely and the most spacious I'd known. Maids came daily and it was spotless. Air con was great after some of the hotter days! Entertainment Our kids loved this and so did we. Plenty for the family to do throughout the day, with games and activities for the whole family. The rapport the entertainment staff built up with the children was truly excellent and they all had time and energy when engaging with the youngsters. This continued at night with the mini disco and dance at the end of he night. Again, such a great atmosphere and our children loved it! The shows were also fab and suitable for the whole family. The party evenings were especially fun and there was a great atmosphere day and night. Bar staff were efficient and friendly and clearly dedicated to making the guests feel welcomed. Food and Restaurant Food was excellent with a huge range to choose from. Every evening was a little different with themes to suit all taste buds. My three children were well catered for with a huge range of favourites. The staff in the restaurant and bars were lovely and always took time to have a chat and interact with the children. Even though we were in a party of 6, we always got a table together. There were plenty of snacks available throughout the day and never a queue or hassle to get these. If anyone reading this has any further questions, I'd be happy to help. I've been away many times but this place is truly stunning! Thanks again to all of the team at the Gran Oasis. Collapse

Just got back from 2 weeks at this fab hotel. Travelled as a family of 4 2 adults, 15yr boy, 10yr girl. The staff here are the hotels biggest asset, nothing is too much trouble and are always smiling and happy even when I'm sure they are not! Rooms- we had 1 bed apartment which was spotless and cleaned 6 out of 7 days. The bedroom is downstairs and the lounge and kitchen upstairs. Kids slept upstairs on campbeds which were fine even for a 6ft 15yr old. The only thing that lets the room down was the bathroom as it was very dated and the shower over the bath very tempremental but did not spoil our holiday. If you have small children the stairs are directly by the front door but I noticed people had stair gates put up. Food- good choice, the usual AI type of things but always something fresh being cooked in front of you every night. There is a pool snack bar that has sandwiches/hotdogs/beef burgers etc available all day and between 1-3 pizza, salad, chips, pasta, fruit etc. You can go into the restaurant at lunch but we never did. Never had a problem finding a table and staff very quick to clear and reset tables. Drinks- one type of local beer and everything else local spirits plus wine and prosecco which was fine for us. Only 4 cocktails included which weren't very good. You could upgrade but we didn't feel the need. No bottled water but we bought bottles and filled them up from the snack bar. Pools- never had a problem getting a bed and we didn't get down until after 9.30 but we struggled to get parasols as there are definitely not enough for the amount of beds. Beds quite close together but this is to accommodate all the people. Pools very clean and all pool areas. Entertainment- things going on everyday for adults and children mini disco at night for young ones then some kind of act/show. Everything stops at 11.00 including AI drinks but again that was fine for us. The party nights on a Thursdsy are really good fun. Location- the hotel is a good walk to Los Cristianos but the hotel provide a bus in the morning and a taxi is 4-5 euros. The hotel is set into a hill side so lots of steps around the complex. This hotel was great value for money and it is 4 star contrary to some other reviews. We have stayed in slightly better 4 star hotels but we would definitely go back. If I could have given 4.5 rating I would I just think the bathrooms need refurbishing, more parasols need purchasing and better cocktails on standard AI. Picky I know Collapse

We stayed here at the begining of July in apt 138 fairly close to the main area of the resort, there are lots of steps but seemed to be ramps in most places. The staff were all friendly and helpful especially pepe on reception. The hotel is kept lovely and clean at all times. Food was amazing, a different theme every night. Entertainment was good some nights a bit poor on others. The hotel is located quite far from the main resort of las americas but the hotel put a free bus on every day except sunday to the beach and water park (the water park is a definite must, only a 5 minuite drive away) no kids club anymore but the staff play games and entertain them during the day, an inflatable slide was put in the pool a couple of days. Overall a very nice hotel, we had a lovely time. Only bad point was the amount of sunbeds rammed together round the pool, rows of 10+ all touching each other, felt lile there wasn't enough personal space for me Collapse

Just back from a 2 week family holiday. When we checked in we were in apartment no 9. Nice view of the golf course from the roof terrace. This is right at the top of the hill, hard work pulling your case, when tired, hungry and hot. Once inside the apartment was nice and spacious. Fridge / freezer, kettle etc. Beds nice and comfortable. Only downside side was the fold up bed which was a piece of foam on a frame. Very squeaky. Complex nice and tidy, staff are very friendly. You can hire pool towels, one change per week. The pool and pool area are not big enough for the amount of people staying in the complex. The sun beds are extremely close together, some of them are that close you have to get on and off from the end. The restaurant again is not big enough for the amount of people staying in the complex. The food is ok, although the change over of menus is weekly, so if on holiday for 2 weeeks or longer can get repetitive. This resort is definitely not for people with mobility problems, lots of steps and slopes. Collapse
