We had a week self catering in March. As previously stated in other reviews, the apartments are spread around the grounds. Our apartment was number 002, which is probably the furthest away from the main building. As we were self catering this wasn't a problem however the apartment would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems as the walk was all uphill and there were several flights of stairs. My husband and I are late fifties but it sometimes felt like a struggle even for us! The apartment itself was lovely, set on two levels with good self catering facilities. The television showed BBC's 1 and 2, ITV and Channel 4 - not essential on holiday but nice if you fancied a night in! The balcony got the sun from midday until around 6.30 at night and we utilised this a lot. The pool areas were very well kept, plenty of sunbeds and parasols for anyone who wanted one. There's a small shop which sells the basics at reasonable prices. The only problem we had was there was nowhere to buy a meal after 4 pm unless you wanted to eat in the main restaurant, and there are no restaurants in the immediate area so a trip into Los Cristianos or Playa de Las Americas was needed. There's a free bus service into Playa de Las Americas at 10.10, 11.30 and 18.30, coming back at 1 pm or 4.30. A taxi cost anywhere from 5 to 8 euros, depending on the driver! Always ask first for a price otherwise they will have your eyes out if they can. All in all a lovely stay. Beautiful weather which certainly helped! We drove to the airport in a blizzard and got off the plane to 27 degrees, which was a big shock to the system! Collapse

We stayed here for a week on an all inclusive basis. The resort is built on a hill and the blocks are terraced up the hill. We were allocated an apartment in the very top block which meant loads of steps or a winding non step route. Fortunately we were given a change the next morning to an apartment in the second row which had a partial view of the pool. It is easy walking from the resort in to Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas, but even the fittest would probably find it difficult walking back. However the resort does provide a courtesy couch in and out of Playa de las Americas, but if the times don't suit a taxi is only about 5 euros. There are two bars, one of which has food available most of the day. We never had a problem getting a table in the dining room, and the food was varied and good. Every night was a different theme for dinner, with Asian, Spanish, Canarian, Mexican, European some of the types. There was entertainment outside every evening, but as it was quite cool in the evenings at the time of year we were there and we tended to listen to the entertainment from our balcony which was more sheltered. Our apartment had Kitchen/lounge/dining area and balcony as you went in and you went downstairs to the large bedroom and bathroom and a further balcony area. The top balcony had two chairs and a table, but strangely there was nothing on the lower balconies. It would have been ideal to have had a couple of loungers there. We had daily maid service and the whole resort was kept clean and well maintained. All the staff in the resort were excellent and friendly and it was great to have a fellow Scot, Pepe, in the reception. Collapse

We stayed here from the 20th Feb to 6th March 2018 The staff at this resort are a massive credit to their hotel manager, they always have a smile on their faces and are always willing to help with any issue or query. The resort is very clean, the rooms are very spacious and split on 2 levels, with the living room / Kitchen area upstairs and the bedroom & bathroom downstairs, the rooms are cleaned every day, we stayed here this time using the All Inclusive option, each night they have different themed food from around the world for Dinner. The food throughout the day was very good with plenty of options, not too many AI alcoholic drinks to choose from though, There are 3 pools, (1 for babies, 1 for infants/kids and 1 larger pool for everybody) there was always plenty of sun loungers to choose from. The resort is on the boarder of Los Cristianos and Las Americas, up a hill and away from all the nightlife, although on a hill, the walk down to the main tourists areas only takes 15-20 minutes, however the resort do provide a courtesy bus to the main tourists areas. I contacted the resort months before our arrival asking for a room close to the pool as we have a 10 month old, when we arrived the receptionist allocated us a room overlooking the main pool area, it was amazing and thank you very much Gran Oasis. If you are looking for a good resort that is relaxing and has good accommodation then this is the place to go for. We had an amazing time and would definitely return. Collapse

We arrived to the hotel after a short ride from the airport we were greeted by welcoming reception staff who gave us lots of information as well as details to the free wi-fi. The rooms were well kept and clean. Liked the duplex style apartment. Had lovely views from our room towards the sea even though was a small walk (15/20mins to the promenade). Good facilities onsite and took advantage with the spa treatments. Food was varied on a day to day basis and staff were always welcoming! Would highly recommend and would go again as local to a lot of the water parks and animal parks. Collapse
