So we discovered this property by sheer chance. My husband subscribes to 'Luxury Escapes' where they keep sending us these offers from various luxury hotels around the world. It was almost on impulse that we clicked on the 'buy now' button and found ourselves booked for a three day stay at the Anantara Siam. We had stayed at the Regis on three prior stays- so we knew the area very well. This hotel is very conveniently located. Its walking distance to the nearest station at Regis, and also to a lot of the leading malls, restaurants and spas nearby. Lets start with the reservation process. We had make a booking through Luxury Escapes and a few weeks prior to departure we needed to change the dates. This was possible solely at the discretion of the hotel, and though the procedure was somewhat complicated they were quite co operative in accommodating our request. Our flight arrived at 5.30 am, and we were in the hotel by 7.30. Whilst they were well within their rights to ask us to wait, the staff at the front desk were not just really warm and welcoming but allotted us our smoking room within minutes of our arrival. They were equally helpful in accommodating our request for a late check out as well. The rooms are comfortable and our room opened out to a lovely courtyard in the middle which made one feel like they were in a sea side resort rather than in the heart of a hustling bustling city - The room itself though, was not very pretty!! The sofa was a little too large and made a relatively large sized room feel a little cramped. This however is my personal opinion and perhaps others would feel differently. The house keeping here is amongst the best I've encountered. No matter how many times we stepped out, the rooms were done up and spotlessly clean on our return. The laundry service is efficient and despite the large loads we were handing over to them, they would come back in mint condition within no time at all. The boys at the entrance are welcoming and super helpful too. Everytime we'd return with our packets we'd have atleast three different people offering- even insisting they'd carry them for us. As regards the room service, whatever we ordered in the room was delivered to us very quickly- but the food was at best average. Breakfast was a decent spread and the staff at the coffee shop were very helpful and courteous. The outdoor seating option here is a delight when the weather is pleasant. The lounge is comfortable, though once again, the snacks here were not exceptional at all. In a nut shell I would probably return to this property for its great location and exceptional service. I have to add that the service is up several notches from the time Anantara has taken over. Collapse

Experienced and professional Staff at Anantara showcased their finese in crisis management by helping us to retrieve our passports from our previous hotel. We had unfortunately left them behind at our previous hotel. All these were quickly and efficiently sorted out by Anantara staff, who helped us to liaise with staff of previous hotel, ensuring a successful retrieval of our passports. Grateful for this top-notch service, which allowed us to continue our holiday plans in Bangkok with little worries, as we were assured by Ananatara's assurance to help us to sort this out. We were grateful to Anantara staff who helped us to calm our nerves, and give us timely updates at crucial points to keep us posted on the retrieval process. All ended well for us, and our stay was made more memorable by positive experiences of comfort at our hotel room; rich Thai ambience and wonderful Thai hospitality. Collapse

I stayed here when they were still four seasons and since I was impressed with their services I came back and it was a correct choice. 3years ago they didn't have Chinese speaker staffs but now there are lots of staffs who speaks Chinese. Every staffs are always nice, respectful and posh. They are good at protecting guests privacy and safety. The room including bathroom is big and comfortable.Have many tasty restaurants. The lobby silk ceiling is famous even at Wikipedia. Their decorations are elegant and creative. A huge hotel with lots of staffs.there is a nurse who can take care of a small injury. They have souvenirs shops, small beautiful garden, business centre, children's room filled with many kind of toys and 姐姐who can play with in English. Swimming pool is outside where can see lotus, inside hey have fitnessand spa.Professional treatment service was also nice. If our date is on he bhuddist holiday which is difficult for foreigners they imform us with a letter 1 day before so we don't have to worry anything. If their some of services or places are not available because of the renovation or event, they connect with very neighbour 5 stars hotel and provide the same or more service with respect, never to make guests unhappy. Located near bts sky train, department store, supermarket is nearby. Concearge is happy to help us with sightseeing, shopping, bookings, flight and some kind of troubles any time. Collapse
