Got to say the reception staff were miserable, didn't crack a smile once. The restaurant staff were downright rude, but the girls waiting the bar were very pleasant and at least smiled at us. The hotel itself caters for groups of people which as we were on a hen party of 13 suited us perfectly. The nightlife was pretty good, although I didn't expect to be virtually dragged into the bars by the promotional staff. One even swiped one of our hats and ran inside the pub to get us in there. All in all great place for a few days and when in groups, but would never go under different circumstances Collapse

We stayed here in October and we had mixed feelings before we went as reviews weren't consistent but everything at the Hotel was fantastic. It started with reception- they were extremely helpful and pleasant nothing was too much trouble. Then we went to our room and walking out onto the balcony and "what a view!" it was fantastic. Then there was the food, we were Half Board and there was plenty of choice and the food was always hot, the chef was there to answer any questions about the food you had and the other staff were ensuring the tables etc were clean all the time. The Manager greeted you at every meal time which was a nice touch. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The Hotel is clean and tidy, our room was serviced every day and we had a ceiling fan in our room which was enough. Overall I would recommend this hotel. Collapse

Well what can I say, our second trip to this hotel and things just get better. We had a lovely sea view room (705) and what a pleasure it was to wake up each morning to the sun rise over the sea. The staff once again where first class and nothing was a problem to them, they all deserve credit for their hard work and customer service. The selection and standard of food was very good and table service for drinks in the restaurant (including those on All Inclusive) was a nice touch. it was great to have the option of a snack buffet lunch in the bar or lunch in the main restaurant. The bar was well stocked and the All Inclusive bar menu was very good, including free bottles of water. If you want a good value adult only break with a superb view and a great service, then the Florida Hotel is a great choice. Once again thanks to all the staff at the Florida for providing us with a great holiday and we look forward to returning next year. Robert & iris Collapse

Did I enjoy my stay at this hotel? Yes I did. Would I stay there again? No. The views are great. The rooms are dated but clean enough. Our hairdryer did not work and we reported this twice but it was not fixed. The balcony light did not work either. These were minor things and would not put us off. The thing that let the hotel down the most was the food and snacks. We are not fussy eaters by any means and one day I struggled to find something to eat for lunch. The main staples were pork and fish. We were all inclusive but mainly only ate the breakfast and the rest of the time ate out. If you wanted salad, soup and bread then great, but if you wanted a hot meal, then pork and fish smothered in some kind of sauce were pretty much your choices. Then there was the cheese pizza with egg in it. Not pleasant. I love eggs but not underneath the surface of my cheese in a pizza. The staff are nice and friendly and the manager is always at the dining room door to greet patrons for every sitting. The snacks were awful though and were disappointing to say the least for an all inclusive package. We arrived late on our first night and missed breakfast the first morning and headed downstairs thinking we might be able to get a toastie from the snack bar. There was no snack bar. The snacks were a box which contained a variety of different shaped same taste bland biscuits and a plastic box of unrefrigerated sandwiches. The sandwiches were two bits of dried bread with salami between them or two bits of dry bread with some other kind of meat. I've never seen anything like this in any hotel we have ever stayed in and frankly it was disgusting. The food felt sparse at dining times and although evening dinner finished at 9pm, the trays were being cleared at 8.30 pm. The service times were short too. Two hours for breakfast, 90 mins for lunch and two hours for evening meal. If you wanted to hire a safe it cost €31 euros for the week and the deposit was non refundable. We double checked this twice when we were checking out and were told no deposit refund. If you wanted a fridge you had to hire this for 15 euros and Internet hire was ten euros per device. The hotel itself is set in a nice location and the views are lovely but the poor snacks and food choices really let this hotel down. We go to Majorca all the time on holiday and are not flashy and quite basic with our food requirements but this is the worst food and snack experience we have ever had and is what prompted me to write this review. There was no air conditioning in the room and only an over head fan. The beds are uncomfortable and hard and the heat was unbearable at night time with only a fan in the room. Entertainment wise I think we turned up when it was a line dancing convention week. Three of the seven nights we stayed there the entertainment was line dancing. This would have been fine if you were able to join in but the people taking part were seasoned line dancers from different parts of the world who knew the moves to every song. If you were not a line dancer then you could only sit and watch and not be included. It was good fun to watch but three out of the seven nights? Even the bar staff were demented with it. So overall, nice hotel, nice staff, good location but dated rooms and poor food choices with mediocre entertainment. Collapse

rooms - very basic, but clean widescreen tv in rooms and our room had a great view of the sea reception and check in - very efficient and fast and all staff very polite food - we went all inclusive and the food was very good, always hot and the waiting staff were efficient and polite pool - a bit small for the size of the hotel but there wasnt any issue getting a sun bed. We used the smaller alcoves away from the pool to sunbathe - these could have done with a better clean in the same way the pool area got cleaned but it seems they neglected this part - which was a shame Bar area - fast service, the food served here was basic just burgers, chips and some pasta and salad at lunchtime better food in the main restaurant - note this hotel is popular with hen and stag partys who seem to come from thursday to sunday mainly, some there when we were there they were a bit noisy but apart from that no other issues from them. good location and close to all the action only disappointment for us was from Thomas cook who failed to pick us up at the allocated time and despite waiting 20 mins after the pick up time we had to get a taxi to the airport to fly home. Thomas cook staff there were not of much use and their 24 hour help line went unanswered when we tried to call so might be worth double checking with them that they intend to collect you if their your travel company! I stayed here in mid-May 2016 with 10 other girls for my hen party. It was a great hotel! The rooms, were spacious and clean, and the shower was pretty powerful. We stayed in the annexe building, which was closer to the pool, and the views over the sea were fab. The hotel had a good atmosphere but it wasn't overly rowdy. The bar had plenty of drinks to choose from and you could order as many drinks as you liked rather than 1 drink per person. The food here was the best part. Lots of choice and not too samey each day. We had a couple of vegetarians and a couple of fussy eaters and all of them found plenty they enjoyed. The beach is about 10 mins walk and the magaluf strip is about 5 mins walk down the hill. (The hill is not bad at all) and even though you are so close to the madness, the hotels position on the hill makes it far enough away for anyone wanting a quiet night sleep. Collapse
