I stayed with a mate for a week. The Hotel was clean and tidy. We stayed in the off season, when a lot of for the beach bars were closed for the season, which suited me to me honest. Its basically little Britain, with all English bars set up for youngsters to have "sesh"....those days are gone for me ..... A short walk to "Palma" beach is where i spent most of my days (in the English bars) reading and watching the world go by on the harbour. The food in the hotel was, in my opinion, pretty good and always something to like and plenty of it!! Hotel staff were pleasant and had a smile... so all in all i couldn't fault the hotel.... mate got his phone nicked though so keep you wits about you !! Police were great with him....:-) Collapse

Me and my family went in the end of October and we found this was a lovely time to go, it was quite (no clubs were open) but there was still plenty to do in the day. This hotel is beautiful and clean, we had a sea view room which had a nice big balcony which looked down the sea front of magaluf. The room it's self was big and clean, there was air conditioning in every room and huge wardrobes with selves. The only complaint I have about the rooms is the thin walls, we could hear our next door person tv and people getting up in the mornings ect. I have no complaints about the food, there was a good variety of items and it was something different every day, there meats were cooked perfectly everyday. When we went out do our day trips we booked to take a picnic witch is free they gave u sandwiches, fruits and a bottle of water, I thought this is a lovely thing to offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The All inclusive drinks were strong and again you had a good variety of choice. Collapse

This review is coming from a holiday virgin. LOCATION The hotel's location is amazing. you can step onto the beach and have all the bars and shops within 5 minutes walking distance. HOTEL Very nice looking hotel which is also clean and provides such extras as a gym and Spa. Balcony area overlooking the sea is peaceful and beautiful. STAFF Lovely people working here who care about their work and it's customers. When asked for assistance nothing was too much trouble and solutions were provided quickly. GUEST ROOM The room in which we stayed was clean and provided all that was necessary. Only issue we had whilst our visit was the mattress. The mattresses provided were not comfortable and needed replacing, this was done by the hotel without any fuss and the replacements were better but the quality of the mattress I did suffer with. FOOD & DRINK The quantity and choice of food available is wonderful. Never suffered with being bored of same old meals on offer. Every day the choice and variety was great. My only criticism is the quality of the food. Not everything but many of the meals of offer lacked flavour. I felt the desserts were specially at fault for this. FACILITIES The hotel provides a free gym and Spa which is a lovely bonus. Both rooms are kitted out with the equipment you would expect and is a nice change should you want it. ENTERTAINMENT The entertainment provided in the hotel was OK but nothing special and would recommend spending your time walking the surrounding area to find better entertainment. OVERALL Overall I would return the Flamboyan and do recommend it to anyone. The staff are lovely and look to help and assist in any way they can. Any issues you make them aware of they act swiftly and resolve the best they can. The added extra's of being next to the beach, having access to the gym and Spa makes this hotel enjoyable to visit. Stayed after peak season at the end of October so I imagine Magaluf was a lot quieter than usual which was great for us. A few restaurants and bars closed but still plenty nearby which various price ranges, many with free wifi so we just used this rather than paying for it at the hotel. The beach view was worth every penny, absolutely stunning. We were in the Caribe building on the second floor. We were lucky and had lovely weather every day, one thunderstorm overnight, and a few cloudy days but still warm so we planned indoor trips but also a couple of really sunny hot days. All the staff were friendly and brilliant. Very helpful for buying tickets for tours and nearby activities, which were slightly cheaper than 'on the door'. Relatively close to Golf Fantasia (we walked but probably a good 20 minutes) which we loved. The hotel was tidy and clean. The beds were a bit hard for our liking but still slept ok. Some expected outside and corridor noise but nothing too disturbing. The outdoor hot tubs overlooking the beach (although one was far too cold) and the indoor spa (which you book into for free) were fantastic extra bonuses. The food was a bit hit and miss but definitely the best 'inclusive' buffet I've been to. Overall the food was a great standard with plenty of options. The mixed paella and steak were outstanding. I did not expect to get steak cooked to how you like at a inclusive buffet. The pork, sausages, creamy pasta and chocolate ice-cream (in small tub) were also favourites but there was loads of salad, bread and soup too. We had a fantastic stay and were sad to leave. If we ever return to Magaluf off season, we would definitely stay here again. Collapse
