Beautiful hotel, immaculate, food to suit all tastes. Enjoyed a family week in this hotel, kids had an absolute ball and desperate to return next year. Our kids are aged 10, 13 and 16, they loved the pool area, the games area and met lots of friends. The staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful. My son celebrated his 10th birthday during our stay and the hotel arranged a cake for him during dinner as a surprise. Will definitely return. Collapse

At the time of writing this, I am recovering from the daily 8.00am sprint for sun beds around the pool area. There is a hotel policy if not reserving beds with towels, however most of the tourists, with the exception of a few adhere to the age old rule of once you have staked your claim the bed is yours for the day. On one occasion I witnessed a family complain to the management that there were no beds available and have them remove towels from a couple of unattended beds so they may sit there, the problem I had with this was there were beds available but not where they wished to sit. There were also incidents of people booking beds in two locations so they could vacate the beds having had the morning sun and then move to the second location for the afternoon sun. The hotel is clean and tidy and the staff are pleasant, the food is plentiful and of a good standard, but things are cramped around the pool. The question is would I stay again and the answer could only be maybe, the grandchildren loved it, but there are better places out there, such as the insotel group Collapse

So let's start, second holiday at fergus but more family. On upon entrance the lobby is beautifully clean and for a kids hotel and white tiles it is always sparkling due to the cleaners hard work. The 24-7 reception staff were there to greet us in our late arrival and we got to know them very well over the course of our 2 week stay. They explained everything in detail and we knew exactly what was going on when. Last year we arrived at the hotel early and were just in time for breakfast but this year the kitchen staff had kindly prepared a cold dinner with some cheese, fruit, cold meat and bread which was extremely thoughtful of them as we arrived late, missing dinner. After showing our family around the hotel we decided to go up to our room. As it was last year it was spotlessly clean and the cleaning staff must have worked so hard to prepare it. We had bought one of the safes and it worked well and also got 5 of the fergus beach towels which cost a deposit of €15 (I think) possibly €13 but when you hand them in at the end of your stay you get the money back unless you've lost them. You can also change them for clean ones every day from 4-7. This service is great as it allows you more space for essentials in you case. We realised that as a family of 5 we needed some more hangers in our room so we requested some at close to midnight and they were brought up 5 minutes later for no charge. The next day we realised that our toilet wouldn't flush properly and we came back that night and they had fixed it. Another request we had was for more bathroom towels as we ran out from having showers before lunch some days and they kindly gave us more. The staff are great especially the animation team. Goofy and Cristina are great with the kids and my 2 kids loved maxi club so much. The pools were cleaned every day and while they could be bigger are great for the kids and adults to play in during the day. And one of the hotels that lets inflatables of any shape or size into the pool. The smaller pool is also lovely with 4 slides for the kids. The hotel has a indoor pool with jets that is great when you want a bit of shade. Onto the beach bar. Mila was one of the best staff fergus has to offer never groaning at your super long orders and getting everything right first time. By the end of the 2 weeks she didn't even need to ask us what we wanted as she new what we got everyday.she even talked to us asking us how our day was etc. would definitely opt for the all inclusive option as it works out cheaper than the half board that we did last year due to the fact that you need a lot of drinks during the day and it costs a lot by the time everyone gets a minimum of 3 soft drinks each. All the activities in the pool were great as well, my kids loved the scooberdiving and joining in with the aqua fit and gym. Even activities for the adults. They also have an adults only roof terrace with hot tubs and loungers- this costs a certain price per person per day. I can't review this as we didn't go up there but from pictures it looks stunning. What I love the most about the animation team is that they always have a smile on they're face even if they're being pushed in the pool by some 5 and 6 year olds. They work and work and work you never see them stop and sometime I wonder if they ever get to sit still. At lunch they're on the stage practicing shows when they're not doing that they're doing mini club and maxi club, playing with the adults, running activities in the pool, taking people out canoeing etc. And this is why this hotel is so special everyone is family and they all work so so so hard. The food was also great. Breakfast had a variety of sweet foods such as cakes and pastries with freshly baked things as well. They had full English breakfast with fresh eggs and pancakes everyday. All the cold hams and cheeses . For lunch ,only for the all inclusive guests, was freshly made burgers. There was hot dogs, chicken, pasta, pizza and salad. The deserts always had ice cream as well. For dinner there was a theme country every night and we got to enjoy some of them twice, including Chinese, Spanish etc. There was always different pasta and pizza, fresh meat and fish and salads. Then ice creams cakes and pastries with fresh fruit for dessert. They did tapas for no extra charge on Tuesday and Thursday and then a sunset barbecue on Friday with charge. There is also a nuka resteraunt for adults that want a little bit of quiet from the main buffet seats. Some of the best hotel food I've ever had. The Jordis bar was always great service even though it had massive cues at 10.45 when everyone stocks up all the all inclusive drinks which stop at 11pm The only issue which we read about online was the sun beds and how you have to wait in a cue till 8 but even though we did wait from 7-8 every morning it wasn't as bad as it was made out to be because we wanted the sun loungers on the beach front (next to where the lifeguard is sitting) if that makes sense. It had beautiful views of the cove and there was a little area of rock where you could climb down into the water. The was approximately 10 beds on the bottom section and 2 parasols. The cove is beautiful and great for snorkelling, we swam out to the diving boards which you can see from here or you can just walk around and they are definitely worth a visit. The lifeguards, while I doubt they actually work for the hotel fully but just work around the santa ponsa area, need a lot of praise. Because we say next to them for 2 weeks we got to fully see what they're job consisted of. They were always there watching what was going on . 2 people with sea urchins in there feet, lots of people with cuts in various places a man with a jellyfish sting, a boat coming past they buoy, people jumping into shallow water, a woman fainting and lots more. They don't get enough praise for what they do. I even saw them tidying up cups and glasses from around the pool area! This is a lovely presented hotel and I feel like I have covered everything about this amazingly situated hotel and I would definitely recommend it to any family!!! Collapse

Last day today! Been here 9 nights and honestly cannot fault this hotel! Spotlessly clean, light and airy! Rooms are huge and plenty storage space, cannot understand people who state that there is no storage and believe me I have enough clothes/shoes with me to stay here for a month lol! The food is amazing and we have some fussy eaters in our group but we are all spoiled for choice every night! Haven't struggled to get a sun bed once, beach next to hotel is lovely when u need to cool off! My only constructive comments would be about having to pay for cocktails and for the weekly barbecue, I feel that should be included in the all inclusive as should the pizza at the pool bar! Snacks are a bit limited aswell but am being really picky by commenting on this. Have had a brilliant holiday and honestly haven't wanted to leave the hotel! Will definitely return as am a frequent visitor to Majorca and this hotel is at the top of my list! But a note for the management, the shower curtains are rubbish, please replace them with screens! Happy holidays x Collapse

Lovely hotel which is exceptionally clean throughout. All staff are welcoming, hard working and very professional. The entertainment team work their socks off (I actually don't know when they sleep). The restaurant was very nice with a wide variety catering to all needs. The general feeling I got was that this hotel is working very hard to create the best service they can provide and it's working. Highly recommend! Collapse
