What a lovely and unusual place. When I first came across it on a travel website I fell in love with the place and its philosophy immediately - how many hotels have you come across that have a philosophy ?! The rooms are unique and wonderfully spacious. We (myself, my husband and our two sons of 16 and 17) were bowled over when we were upgraded to a suite. Staff were generally fantastic, Soumia in particular, and very helpful, doing what they could to ensure we had a good time. We had full board and while the menu is not very extensive, everything was absolutely delicious and there was enough to experiment over the course of a week. We felt that drinks were a bit o the pricey side (the equivalent of £3.50 for a can of Coke or Sprite, around £7.00 for a glass of simple wine) but hey-ho. When you read my raving about the Fellah Hotel you might wonder why I am not giving the Fellah Hotel a 5 star rating; well, I struggled with the at times rather loud disco-type music that blasted the restaurant and pool area on a couple of days. While I love music I just cannot stand techno, nor the kind where even after a few hours you do not notice a change in song. Indeed, loud music when I want to relax and wind down is not exactly what I have in mind. Would I go again? Definitely, and I would make sure to get a room that is further away from the restaurant / pool area as several of the villas have their own lovely pool. Collapse

We had a brilliant stay at Fellah. The grounds, buildings and pool are stunning and we were upgraded to a junior suite when we arrived which was amazing! The view of the atlas mountains from the hotel is incredible. The food was excellent and the staff were all extremely attentive. It's about 20 mins from the medina and the hotel arranged our transport when we wanted to go. It was good value and all of our drivers were great. The location was great as it offered a peaceful contrast to the mad excitement of a day or night out in the medina. Overall a cool place and brill stay! Collapse

We stayed for a week in the hotel, which is an 'oasis' away from the busy Centre with no noise or bother. I think previous comments have been unfair as we found the staff attentive and very pleasant and our room was clean. The concept is good and their treatment of animals is good- they were feeding a family of kittens each night! Yes the bunnies could do with a 'run' outside but I'm sure they will take note of that! We will be coming back again as there are various areas we want to explore. The food was great! The pool is big and we slept really well on the beds. Would definitely recommend! Collapse

Good spacious hotel/resort 10 KM outside Marrakech. This hotel/resort is about 10KM from the airport and city centre of Marakkech. It has a few buildings and in each block there are I think between 4 to 6 apartments from very large to very spacious. We stayed in the cheapest room and this was still very good. Nice atmosphere, good bathroom with a nice shower. The beds are good and everything looks pretty new. The hotel grounds are very large with a lot of green, tree’s and at the parking area also a small area for some donkey’s and sheep’s. So you can have a nice small walk on the hotel ground itself. The hotel has got a big restaurant/terrace right next to a very large swimming pool that slowly goes from low water to deep water. Our visit was in spring and at that time the water was still pretty cold. For kids it didn’t seems to be a problem. Talking about kids… Family’s really know and found this trendy hotel. Kids are everywhere so even though the hotel grounds are big you still get the feeling you are in a family hotel. Kids take over everything. From the pool table to the relaxing area and their parents and hotel staff think this is oke. So if you look for something like this it’s a great modern/trendyhotel. If you are a romantic couple without kids please keep this in mind. We didn’t like this part of the hotel so when we returned to Marrakesh two weeks later we stayed in another hotel, less focused on family and kids, on our way back to the airport. Although we had our own car we used the hotel taxi service to and from the city Centre. This worked very well and was about 20 euro’s one way. So it’s a good and beautiful hotel but it looks like it’s chancing from trendy/hip to a good quality family resort Collapse
