I booked a combination of rooms and self catering accommodation for a group of us to come together to celebrate my birthday. The ages ranged from 10 - 75 and everybody enjoyed themselves - the pool, tennis courts, golf course, spa, bar and restaurant all got well used over our stay and nothing disappointed. The front lounge in the bar had comfortable seating with tables to accommodate approx 40 people, there was music there in the evening with a grand piano. the bar itself is long and narrow with a few high tables and stools and into another inner lounge which can be closed off. There are a multitude of other rooms to spend some time with friends and the staff are attentive, polite and efficient. We had a private room for a meal on one of the nights and had arranged to have a tv on in the corner so that we could keep one eye on a match going on - it was arranged without fuss. The rooms were lovely with comfortable bedding, bathrooms with everything needs, robes, slippers and storage. One of the group got a large room over reception overlooking the golf course .. it was massive with two large double beds and a massive bathroom, we could all have staying in it. Two families stayed in self catering accommodating which is a few minutes walk from the hotel, just behind the gold clubhouse. they were clean and warm with all the mod cons in a variety of sizes to suit whatever group size you have. For a weekend in November it was busy, there was a wedding on Friday with a follow up function in the golf club house on Saturday, a few other family groups were also staying with good numbers coming for lunch on each they we were there. The pool (you need a hat), jacuzzi, steam room and sauna all got use as did some of the spa treatments and the gym with a good selection of equipment. It is a great place to come if just for a romantic weekend away or a large family group - everybody was made most welcome. Collapse

We were at Faithlegg Hotel & Golf resort for a wedding and it really is a beautiful venue with some of the nicest hotel staff I've ever come across. The rooms are lovely, though we did have a suite as we had our child with us so the space was fantastic. The breakfast each morning was first class and all in all it was a superb weekend. If I had one small complaint it was that each room only had one key which is a bit of a problem if you are not with the other person at all times and one of you needs to pop back to the room. Other than that, it was wonderful. Collapse

We had a fantastic night away in Faithlegg. From the check in onwards, staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were excellent as was the bar area. The leisure centre is also worth checking out and the jacuzzi is lovely. We got a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful room in the old house (211) which was stunning. Overall would highly recommend. OK folks ,I want to start by saying that these people in Faithlegg have up"ed there game since our last visit, thats not to say our last visit was a bad experience. We got a standard double bed ,breakfast and 3 evening meals for a little less than 400eur. Our room for a standard room was very tastefully done with all the creature comforts. Breakfast was of good standard with a wide choice of menu and the morning staff in particular the two girls were always at hand with a smile and a chat. there is a lot to be said about having cop on! .Our evening meal was served in a beautiful dining room and the choice of food each night was excellent. Give that Chef a raise! My wife and I played golf on Two occasions on the hotel course and as the course was recovering from the storms of the previous week was very boggy underfoot. Lost a heap of balls on the first day but too there credit the golf staff were out cutting the course the next day, lost less balls!. They kindly let us play and pay for nine holes of golf which is great when you have a reluctant partner! There are fantastic mapped walks which you'll get at reception which will bring you on lord of the rings type experience for scenery. You need good boots/shoes especially in winter. One of the walks is a lung buster but really well worth it.And then back for a nice pot of coffee and yummy. I must give a big shout to the masseur in the pleasure centre (leasure) She had magic hands and rid me of a back and neck pain I had for a couple of weeks previous. I'd go back just to see her! One minor complaint was that the room got too hot at night for us as we sleep without heat on in our bedroom at home. Overall a very enjoyable stay all down to great staff and top class facilities. We'll be back. Collapse
