We were a family of 10 and booked a twin plus 2 apartments for my mums 60th birthday. Wasn't told from the start that we would be half a mile apart. Parents in hotel 2 and we were near the beach. We did ask for rooms near by as they had my child in there room but because how they situated us it wasn't possible. Booked this hotel so I could go in waterpark but once again firstchoice told us another lie as it was closed. Same story last year at benaladema. Food was same all week and it was like a cattle market . Too busy. Apartments were discussing and smelt really bad. I was embarrassed to let my parents be there for her birthday. Bed sheets wasn't changed all week either and by the end of week the sheets stuck to us so we couldn't sleep. When 1st arrived fridge wasn't working, had to report ants, and the apartment slept 6 but shower( hot water )only lasted 6 and half mins so we had to send kids to other family members rooms. the Spanish OMG how rude, don't que don't smile and by end of week could of killed them. Even the staff was not interested in the English just the Spanish. Really they catered for the Spanish all week. Even when leaving 1st thing and we noticed they had pastries out, so as we were on a early flight the kids had a few and was told off that they were not for us even though we were still all inclusive till 10am! They moved them away lol. All inclusive doesn't start till 8am apparently. So don't get up early and use facilities. We travel 3 times a year and we will never book with firstchoice again and never this hotel again. Collapse

Wasn't expecting much as got a cheap break away. Was pleasantly surprised. Food was great and plentiful. Always lots to choose from. Snacks available from 10.30am - 11pm. Hotel does need a bit of a refurbishment. Carpets in corridors in desperate need of replacement. Pool is always very busy and I wouldn't want to be there in high season as getting a sun bed would be I'd imagine a nightmare. Had a really good week away. And would return but not in high season. We stayed here for 8 days after docking in Barcelona after a weeks cruise. Now, don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting luxury, in fact, I would have settled for average, but this hotel, apart from the food is just simply not good enough to be called a 4 star! The one good thing in the hotel is the food. Good food, good choice. Only negative was people rushing around getting food, which in an all-inclusive is pretty much par for the course. Apart from the food, everything was simply unacceptable. Hotel calls itself an all inclusive-yet you had to pay for sports facilities plus a deposit per towel and per safe. The rooms were just about passive but the corridors were a disgusting dirty yellow colour with brown carpet. It was like something from a 70s hotel in palma nova I stayed in when I was 18. I am now 46. There was a constant dampness smell by the swimming pool at the back which was simply disgusting. Every so often a waft came across the sunbeds and made me heave. All around the edge of the swimming pool was a dirty black gunge which looked like it had been there for years. Simply unacceptable. I have stayed in tens of 4 star hotels over the years and this was not one of them! I contacted Thomson who I booked it through and they were less than useful deeming the hotel a 4 star and visiting the hotel frequently to ensure it is still a 4 star. I have been to many Thomson 4 star hotels in Cape Verde, Tenerife, etc which are 10 times better than this dump of a place. I happened to be there with my in laws and was embarrassed to have to ask them to put up with this hotel which is a 3 star, no question. Anyway, I hope I never set foot on this place again. In fact, I know I won't. Couldn't wait to get home. Collapse

Stayed here at the end of July and had a really nice time with family. Its a huge complex made up of 3 main blocks but extending into a wider area for SC apartments. We were AI and stayed in Estival Park 2. Had to wait a little while for the room but that was due to our early arrival but they had it ready early which was great. We asked for a family room - so it was 2 rooms with inter connecting door and just what we wanted - Mum, Dad, Daughter and Grandma. People always always moan about food but the choice here was huge! There were themed nights and a huge array of different things. Many not quite to my taste at times so me and wife did a bush tucker trial with some bizzare things! Snails are not for me! The seafood platter was quite impressive! There should always be something for everyone 3 different pools in the 3 complexes - Pool 1 was best for kids as it sloped in and was saltwater and not overly deep. Pool 2 was quite deep, about 2m but did have a kids pool at the side, and pool 3 was decent also. 3 different lots of entertainment in each complex to suit your preference. What I loved, was that there was self service food bar open all day, hotdogs, burgers, chips, chicken nuggets etc, plus a self service drink area too - Pour your own beer which was fab and a pour your own cocktail! there was a choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic - although slightly concerning, right next to each other! We went to the water park - Via our tour reps, 1 got a free day there. Its rather expensive to say the least and in peak season, it does get very busy but we had a good time there. Met some really good friends there too - co-incidentally whose daughter went to the same dance school as ours and lives about 2 mile away! Small world indeed! The free wifi in hotels is always hit and miss, this was no different but best checking if you can use data abroad. It is available in the reception area but can be hit n miss. Overall, really enjoyed it and would have no hesitation recommending this hotel. It was a short transfer from the airport which is a bonus plus we got a good deal so happy days. Holidays are what you make it - its not home so please dont expect everything to be like home! :) Collapse
