Stayed here recently for 3 nights and was welcomed firstly by the valet guys who were very friendly and polite. As we made our way into the hotel we was greeted again by the doorman. There was a long queue to check in. It had just gone 4pm and was the first Sunday of March Break for the Canadians. It wasn't long before the queue shortened and a seperate desk had opened up to relieve the pressure. The check-in clerk was again welcoming and went through everything about our stay and gave clear instructions on how to get to our room. Our room was on the 28th floor. The room was very spacious. As this hotel was a surprise for me by my friend, I was amazed that we first walked into a lounge area with a TV and a small kitchen area (sink, fridge, microwave and coffee machine). The sofa was very comfortable. The bathroom was very adequate and had enough space to move around and was well stocked with soaps, shampoos and towels. The shower was pretty decent, however did take a while to warm up to the desired temperature, I guess with 41 floors and probably most people wanting a shower at the same time. The bed was very comfortable and spacious, with a second TV overlooking the bed. You have a choice of 2 TV's in the room so there's no arguing with what TV show to watch. The centrepiece of the room is the large window with amazing views of both Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls and a view of the American side of Niagara Falls. At night the falls are lit up with a light show. In all it was great looking out of the window and taking photos. The staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and will go out their way to help. The Bad Points!!! Only three to mention. You can hear the falls constantly rumbling all night, if you live in a quiet area with no noise then this is getting used to, but hey, you can't stop mother nature. The second point. There is a casino on the American side with a large TV screen on the side which shines in, if you don't close the curtains, my friend likes to have the curtains open at night. Thirdly, the elevators can be very busy at times, there's only five available and at breakfast time you can be waiting for 15 minutes to leave your floor. Try to have breakfast early, or if your feeling fit,you can take the stairs to the 9th floor (where the Keg and Pool is located) and take a separate elevator that works between the 9th floor and the lobby, Amenities There is a swimming pool, I didn't get to use it as there was alot of families on March Break, but there is a decent bar both in the Keg restaurant and downstairs by the lobby. The Keg has a few TV screens showing different sports channels. In all, if you want to visit Niagara Falls with a decent hotel, this would be it. Although pricey but worth the stay. It is very near to the falls via the Funicular Railway - connected to the hotel via a footbridge. Its a shame I visited during a 3 day blizzard which reduced the visibility after the first night. Upon check-in we upgraded for 2 nights to a 36th floor presidential suite. The amenities included a massage chair overlooking the falls, jetted tub, large living room with equally amazing view. Breakfast was standard, servers where pleasant and professional. We are early risers so had no trouble sitting at the window. Dinner at the Keg was enjoyable. TGIF onsite for convenient lunch. The best tip I can offer is to travel off season. Collapse

We stayed at Embassy prior to March Break (slow-week before it gets' crazy, the only time Locals should go is the Winter months',...) Upon Check-in GINA took care of us with No-Problems', plus Upgraded to Presidential for a nominal $40/night extra. Very Happy the Sunday we checked in. However upon returning to the Front Desk on Monday morning (the next day to Switch our Room Keys' as requested.....) This is where I feel Customer Service was Lacking Big-Time considering we booked to stay the entire week and Gave the Entire $amount plus deposits' on Sunday upon checking in. THIS is where the On-Duty Manager (I believe her name was Alexandra, or Alexandria, regardless Embassy knows' who this employee is.....) Well first thing she did was she pulled out a calculator and proceeded to "Talk At Us, as my wife was there too...." She Bluntly Told us that "We shouldn't expect to get back as much of the deposit as we were expecting upon checkout at the end of the week? What? So I asked why? "She then began attempting (I stopped listening at this point as there was no "I'm SORRY, or any sort of Admittance or acknowledgement on her end that The Hotel made a Mistake upon check-in, nothing a Manager working in Hospitality Should be trained to do in these situations' came out in this conversation??? We became Frustrated upon first being taught Math as if we were the ones' whom did the checking-in ( the Girl on Sunday whom checked us in apparently did not charge the proper rate for one of the nights' we booked? Not my fault! Embassy Suites' Fault! Still not one apology came out of your managers' mouth......? I understand the Human Error on your end, but To Not own up to it and offer an apology of any sort. Or to even offer to cover one of the $40/upgrade fees for one of the 6 nights' we were staying would of been appreciated. Not even a Sorry.... So In short, This one On-Duty manager truly changed my perspective on Customer Service at the Embassy suites'. Please Re-Train, or Train Alexandra on how to speak to Paid Customers' next time, or how to Say "I am Very Sorry on behalf of Embassy Suites', but we made a slight error upon you checking in..." We are Honours' members and expect better next time at your Hotel. The rooms' can't be beat for Niagara, But the Customer Service (due to one greedy manager could definitely use on Re-Tooling!) If a Manger at the hotel is reading this, I asked Said On-Duty manger that day for a Supervisor/Another level of Management, and was completely ignored when I requested that she get somebody else for us to discuss the issue at hand with. And since the Embassy already had our Money $$$ we were essentially being held hostage and at the mercy that the hotel hopefully didn't forget to Add another Bogus Amount of $$$ to our final bill, meaning the $600/deposit money might not come back at all??? Very Unprofessional and Disappointing for us at our Top 2 Hotel in the falls considering we weren't just staying a day or 2, we Stayed March 5th-11th! Room #3311 look it up please. We weren't offered anything from the Embassy Suites' the whole week we were there even with the Unsportsmanlike conduct from the Second Day! Feel free to reach out Managers' if you would like more info or to try to save face after our last visit: email@example.com Regards, Collapse

Closest hotel to the falls, but if you don't like walking, the only way down to the Falls is using the incline railway (for a fee). View is beautiful if you upgrade to a premium view suite. The complimentary cocktail hour is 1 drink (w/a scant 1 ounce of well liquor) some pretzels, carrots & dip, if there are any left. Word of advice....get to breakfast EARLY if you are visiting on the weekend. Great service, but plenty of opportunity for tipping! The suite is laid out backwards, with the living area at the entrance and beds at the window. Only room for one chair next to the bed and you really can't see the falls when in the bed. Would have been nice to sit on the couch or at the table, enjoying a drink or meal by the window. All in all, it is the closest hotel to the falls, but you only benefit with an upgraded room. We did enjoy the hotel, especially since it was March and quite cold and windy; and the lack of crowds. Niagara Falls is still one of my favorite places to visit. Collapse

Overall a very good hotel, great view of the Falls, room was very comfortable -this room having a hot tub. The breakfast at the quite large dining room was very satisfying. You name it, -they had it on the menu. My ongoing complaint is "Valet" service. You usually have to wait a long time to get your vehicle. In this situation, our vehicle was parked blocks away (said one of the valet drivers). Collapse
