The Embassy Suites was a great hotel! We traveled from the states and the hotel is a few minutes down the road from the border and easy to get to. It offers valet parking which we used. As a reminder and there is a huge sign in the lobby area, valet parking cost $$ (CAD60/USD45) and the parking is not on the premises. The lot they park the car in is down the road and the way it works is they have a shuttle that leaves every 10 minutes to bring you to your car. I personally did not mind, can't say much for others though, There were quite a few people who I overheard complaining to the front desk. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast which was a full buffet spread including egg station where the chefs can make any style egg for you. Coffee, tea, juice, water, bakery section. The dining area overlooks the falls and the hotel IS the closest that overlooks the falls. The lobby has a few gift shops, as well as TGIF restaurant and a bar/steakhouse so there are a few family options. I requested at time of reservation for a falls view room, which the front desk explained we would get a side view of the falls for the room we were assigned. We were upgraded for a few dollars more (and you can negotiate the upgrade price) and got a suite which had a sitting area with couch, kitchenette area and a tv separate from the beds. The biggest perk for us because I do have small children, is the refrigerator that was EMPTY and we could use for leftovers and baby food/milk. In most hotels I've been to lately, the rooms have refrigerators, but they are stocked with drinks and you can't use them for your own purpose. Bathrooms were clean with plenty of fresh towels and the beds were comfortable. We had a beautiful view of both falls. Another great thing about this hotel is that we have easy access to the Incline Rail, which for $2.50 will bring you down right to the Falls Center to visit the falls. The entrance/ramp to this is from our hotel. For a fairly reasonable room rate this was a great place to be and I would definitely go again and recommend to others. One tip is to get to breakfast early to beat the lines to get seated AND to utilize the elevator. The breakfast location is on the 9th floor and when it gets busy, it takes forever to get an elevator that isn't already packed with people. Collapse

Everything was wonderful as newlyweds- would have liked to see the hotel do something nice knowing it was our honeymoon as they told me it was noted on the room. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived so we were upgraded which was nice

Noman’s - the manager - treatment towards us was absolutely ridiculous.

Me, my family, and my friends love Hilton. My mom is a Hilton Honors member. We always go to Embassy and the hospitality and customer service is exceptional every time. But after this visit to Niagara Falls in Embassy, we are never coming back here again. We had a group of 10 people, divided into two rooms. Me, my friend, my mom, my sister, my sister’s 3 friends, my mom’s two friends, and a little one. We checked in online and we all asked twice about the view in the rooms we were in. They specifically said that the rooms have the Fallsview in front of them. We all paid extra for the Fallsview. We then arrived, and we were bursting with excitement for the room view, attractions, and just the general experience. If you were there, just by looking at us you would’ve seen that look on our faces that symbolizes excitement. We got our room cards and went upstairs, into our rooms. We couldn’t believe what we saw. Despite the view that we had last time we went, there was no view this time. Directly in front of our huge window was a building. If you went extremely close and looked to the left, you could only see a bit of the falls, unfortunately. We decided to go to the front desk and ask if they could accommodate us. The girl there was understanding about the situation. She told us that there was a king suite available for two families but she did have to get the manager’s consent. Once the manager came, he was not apologetic at all, very unprofessional, and had harassed us in front of everyone. My mom was the main one talking to him, and he was very rude and uninterested in our problem. We asked him to accommodate us in any way, we would have appreciated it. But no, he said that there were NO rooms available. Apparently that room that was available before was suddenly unavailable. He kept on saying that it was a room with a view, and we kept on insisting that it wasn’t. “Come upstairs and take a look for yourself” my mom said. Completely uninterested, he said that he was too busy. My moms friends said that this isn’t fair or to be exact “this is cheating”. “That’s the way it is” the manager said. We told him that we called beforehand to specifically ask about the view. He looked way more uninterested and then said “You get what you pay for” my mom was at the verge of tears but of course, Noman, the manager, didn’t care. Please rethink when you spend your money because anything can happen. Never coming back here again. Collapse

Stayed at this hotel on Monday Mar 19-Tues Mar 20 for a small birthday celebration. I booked online with groupon. This was our third time staying at this hotel - typically great rooms great location... all good. Well this was our last. There was a lot of construction at the hotel but no mention of this on groupon. Once I booked on line I actually called the hotel and requested a room on the lowest possible floor. I was assured this was not necessary as the lower rooms are not as desirable so there would be no issue getting a room on the lowest floor. When we arrived they assigned us to the 35th floor... Ha.... my partner has an incredible fear of heights. I explained the call I made and they found us a room on the 22nd floor. Whatever, I found it very hard to believe there was nothing else is the entire hotel. It did not appear to be overly busy. anyway... again whatever, We get to our room and it was fine, nice and clean but the room across the hall from us was under construction. We arrived back to our room at 930 pm after dinner and there were still workers there. 800am and the drilling and hammering started.. We checked out and complained and they said we were advised of the construction when we checked in.... let me be very clear we were not advised. And, one last note, the valet parking that costs you $35+ per night is not really valet. They take your car off site and then take you by shuttle bus to the car lot about 1 km away. Overall, not happy and the front staff (Terry) really didn't seem to care to much about it. Wont be back and wont be booking with groupon again either. Collapse
Very elegant and nice rooms.Breakfast in the Hotel overlooking the falls.Valet Parking a little on the expensive side.
