Me and my husband visited for a week in August for our wedding anniversary, I can't fault this hotel in anyway. I didn't feel comfortable with maids cleaning room when we where out so always had the do not enter sign on door. Hotel where fab we had notes through the door everyday asking if we where ok and to call the maid when ever we want for fresh bedding and towels.. Food was great LOVED the ice creams and cheese toasties at the snack bar. The Mexican restaurant was amazing we visited twice and loved everything we ate there... food vouchers for the park are great saved us so much money.. and if we ate at the hotel we just used the vouchers for drinks only at the park.. at the park with the vouchers u can pay an extra euro to make your drink massive I got a massive yard for my estrella which u can get refilled at the hotel inc in the all inclusive which was great. My pet hate at all inc hotels are the tiny drinks u get only allowed 2 per person at a time so was chuffed with the size of the drinks and allowed as many as u can carry on a tray lol love it so much here we have booked again for June and taking the kiddies with us. Can't wait... only one thing that I would advise is if your going in august then take mosquito repellent like plug ins cream anything that repels the buggers I got bit loads and so has a lot of people from the reviews I've read.. mostly in august/September time not read anyone mention it in other months. U can buy plug ins from reception for a 10€ deposit which u get back when u return it.. there is a supermarket about 10minute walk away next to the go kart place that has loads of mosquito stuff to buy its all on the back isle Collapse

We stayed for seven nights, which was probably a little too long. The hotel provided a transfer to the hotel gates. You need your room key for the restaurant. The service at outside bar at night was very slow.

My daughter and I enjoyed a week here in June for the third time.We first stayed at this hotel in 2001 when my daughter was 6 and I was delighted to find it was still as good as our first time. When you stay at this hotel it's now all inclusive plus free entry to the theme park , which is amazing I must say. Both the hotel and theme park is spotlessly clean staff are so nice and the atmosphere is great. Its all owned by universal studio's and it shows , there are characters like Betty boop and woody and winniewoodpecker walking around and many more. There is so much to do hard to know what first.there is also a water park that you need to pay on entry but very good too. Salon town has a lovely beach and plenty of little shops .Fantastic holiday for all the family. A wonderfully experience but you do pay for it. Enjoy n hope this helps ENJOY Collapse

Stayed in the Hotel El paso on a family holiday, was quiet happy about my trip as we stayed before & loved it! On arrival everything seemed ok, our rooms wer ready 2 beside each other, over facing the pool! We had booked a half board basis & on arriving we were NOT made aware that this hotel was an all inclusive hotel! When we tried to get lunch we wer told no this was not possible as for it was closed& go to another bar, there we were told no that we couldn't get hot food! We then decided to take a walk up to the park & have a look! The park was amazing, few more additions then the last time, We went for dinner that night & told our soft drinks were included in our package which I thought was great, food there was a huge selection! After dinner I went to the bar & asked for a coke & he handed me one in a plastic cup then he realised my band took it back & poured me a glass because I was paying! Completely puzzled I didn't say anything! The next day I decided to ask at the reception about upgrading to all inclusive and I was told no that it was not possible, I was then told were we could eat, when we tried for lunch again that day we were told no it was only for all inclusive guests, so I took a trip to the reception again to which the staff were very rude about this & still nothing more could be done! Basically the only place we could eat was the park or salou town unless we wanted a cheese roll or Tuna! One of the bar staff told me that the soft drinks wer free at night to which I ended up getting some & then a next trip another member of staff made a show of me telling me no & poured the drinks down the sink & gave me bottles ones instead of the poured drinks! Shows in the hotel were average ok nothing amazing, maybe because we went in may & full season hadn't kicked in! All in all the hotel was good the facilities were good & beside the park but our experience wasn't great & the staff ruined our holiday, felt very alienated! Don't think I'd stay in the hotel el paso again, took a trip to the hotel caribe to which the staff were so nice & helpful & this hotel was all board basis, just a pity it was our last day! Collapse
