We stayed here for an overnight spa deal and had a lovely time. The hotel is very modern and has an impressive atrium on arrival. We were able to check into our room early which was handy. The room itself was enormous and well fitted. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the golf course. The spa was excellent and clean. The rhassoul mud treatment was very unusual but my skin felt great afterwards. The pool was spacious and not too busy. We dined in the restaurant for dinner and this was the only slight downside. The restaurant was very open and not very atmospheric. The souffle was a little bland to start but the delightful cod for main more than made up for that. Also the deconstructed lemon meringue was superb. Our service was mixed, the waiter was disinterested and had a lot to learn, for example just plonking our wine on the table without pouring it. However, the waitress was very polite and much more efficient. The buffet breakfast was delicious the next morning. We would definitely recommend a visit. Collapse

Just brilliant, staff very friendly and attentive. Food all served together across many tables. All guests very happy. Evening snacks were also great especially the fish and chips and bacon rolls! Most people stayed over and enjoyed a good breakfast as well as use of facilities... Will definitely be going back for afternoon tea and any other excuse we can find.... Collapse

Spent a weekend here recently, room was surprisingly spacious and very clean. We were pleased to find both a bath and a separate walk in shower in the ensuite. The pillows were not of the best quality and felt like rocks yet the rest of the bedding was a nice fresh white cotton. The main hotel bar is fairly small for the large number of golfing groups that were staying at the hotel, so seating is at a premium if you want a drink after your evening meal. We ate in the Pavilion restaurant where we had to pre order our evening meals, earlier in the day. Felt a little like school dinners, but the food was tasty. We suffered several issues during the stay, but they were all rectified swiftly and without fuss, which helps enormously. As a golf widow, I enjoyed several treatments in the spa, which is my kind of golfing holiday! If you suffer from from any mobility problems I would mention this when booking, as our rooms were a long, long way from the main hotel reception/bar. Collapse

Stayed for one night in July 2017 while on business in the area. The lobby area is impressive with huge open spaces, assuming to cater for golf groups. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was massive, like a big suite with huge balcony, big living area with sofas and chairs, a desk, huge marble bathroom with seperate bath and big walk in shower. Lovely toiletries. I had room service which was prompt and the food was great. Breakfast had a good choice with quality vegetarian sausages. the restaurant area was also vervy spacious with large round tables, again to cater for groups. There were some small tables for those travelling solo too. I wish i had looked at the hotel facilities as i didnt realise there was a pool and spa so dissppointed i didnt get to try this out, but will hopefully return for a few nights on a lesiure stay at some point. Overall a great stay. Collapse

I've always known this to be a great golfing venue so when the subject of a Hen Do came up it seemed the obvious choice. 16 women aged from 30 to 65 what could possibly go wrong The answer - as far as the hotel was concerned - nothing! The hotel couldn't have been more helpful, the reception staff went out of their way to meet everyone's needs. Even a complaint at 1am when we were singing along to the film Mama Mia rather too enthusiastically didn't phase them and they handled it very well without spoiling anyone's fun. Apologies to the people upstairs whose children wouldn't go to sleep as they were joining in the singing! The food was lovely and again staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The staff in the spa were also amazing, they rushed around getting our lunch order and even took a lovely group photo for us. The one person who had a massage said it was perfect so top scores all round. The only thing that did cause us some issue was the golf shop. The golf was why I'd chosen the hotel and four of us managed to get a round of golf in by arriving a day early. On the way down we recieved a phone call to say we wouldn't be getting a golf buggy as they'd had 3 breakdown. We explained that one of us had a medical certificate and couldn't play without one only to be told it didn't make any difference as they had a society out playing and they'd got them all. I asked if they had had theirs booked for over 6 months, as we had done, only to be told no, but the owner of the golf club was playing in this group so they couldn't tell him he couldn't have them! Not surprisingly this did put our backs up a little. He begrudgingly offered to see if he could get a buggy from the Marshall but couldn't promise anything. When we arrived at the hotel we checked in then went to the pro shop to be greeted by the person who'd spoken to us on the phone. He turned out to be just as obnoxious face to face and someone who quite honestly wouldn't know customer service if it hit him in the face. He said he'd managed to get two old buggies which might not make it round the course but that's all he had. Considering we were paying over £200 to play the course with a buggy, had purchased a Galvin Green jacket for almost the same amount and several other golf goodies you think he could have been a little nicer, if you go all I can say is don't expect a warm welcome if he's the one on duty! When we went downstairs to collect the buggies the men there were really helpful and the buggies were fine so why did he have to cause so much trouble and worry? Thankfully the course is delightful and well worth playing ⛳️ Collapse
