This hotel is fine! If it hadn't been for the weather I would have given it 4 stars. Now I know the weather is nothing to do with the hotel but the way it handled it is! The lifts are all outside and heavy rain started one night, by the morning the water was running through the lift lighting etc, it was probably not safe! The lifts are generally a bit of a pain as you have to wait ages for them sometimes. The water was also cascading through the roof in parts of the hotel so they laid towels out. There are 3 grades of rooms we had a standard room and a superior room which were both clean and had a maid in every day who did the beds and changed the towels, however in both rooms the shower never failed to flood the floor. The bar downstairs is not really that plush! Just basic and always full. The Piano bar upstairs was nicer a bit like an British pub. As for the entertainment well it was rubbish but in Benidorm you don't need entertainment in the hotel! The restaurant was large but could have done with a Maître d' to organise it! The staff in there are not really that customer friendly at all, no smiles, no friendly greetings. The tables are slow to get cleared and two or 3 times I set a table myself, however I witnessed another family do the same and the waitress was not at all happy, she then set the table by slamming the cutlery and glasses down, her behaviour was disgraceful! The waitress behind the bar never smiled once in the 4 nights I was there. Just served the drinks like she didn't want to be there. The food was great! I really enjoyed every meal I had, there was fantastic variety from steaks cooked on the grill to roast chicken, paella, and theme nights, Italian, Oriental and Spanish while we were there. Breakfast was perfectly good too, the pancakes were excellent! My favourite! All in all this hotel could be fantastic with a bit of team training and customer service. It wouldn't stop me going back as the room was clean, the beds were comfy and the food was good! Collapse

Stayed at this hotel from jan 13th to jan 16th for a short break away with the wife, arrived friday morning , and got the keycard to our room on the 19th floor , the lifts are unusual as you press a digital screen outside the lift and it takes you to your floor , got to the room and found out we didn't get the seaview we requested , but the view of the mountains was not all bad , i did order a superior room and payed for the upgrade , and then found out i didnt get it , but when i questioned the reception they claimed it was , which i did not believe , with a superior you get a walk in shower and a minibar and i didn't get either , their idea of a minibar is an empty fridge in the wardrobe in the room lol , if your looking at getting wifi for your phone its 10 euros for each device you have or 15 euros for the week , you can get this from a machine in reception that prints of a code for each device, wifi works ok in your rooms , not so great in the bar or the restaurant, the food was decent , you had quite a few choices and the drinks are not bad either , you can take the drinks to your room as well , but only in plastic cups , the beds were a little hard , but they were ok i guess , the hotel was clean , and the staff were friendly , the hotel itself isn't to far from the beach , but it is a little trek from the nightlife , everytime you walked into the hotel , there was a funny smell, i think it was down to the cleaning products or to much chlorine in the pool , the bar was full every night , the acts were not great , so we went looking elsewhere , but it was out of season after all , overall review not a bad hotel , but i wouldn't stay again i would look at something closer to the beach and the nightlife .. I've recently stayed here for a week & this hotel was lovely, couldn't fault it. We were all inclusive & all the food u got was amazing so much choice & every night was different things so it was never the same. They was a outdoor pool & the indoor pool was great 25 meters so u can get your lengths done , as some indoor pools are really small, there was also a spa , sauna & the jacuzzi was so good as was a decent size . There is also a gym. The bar area was also good but a bit small for all guests but there is another bar area upstairs. There is WiFi at the hotel but u have to pay 1 euro a hr to access it . The rooms are really nice with a good powerful shower & nice balcony, there is also a fridge in the room & room service if u need it.i would recommend it & would stay there again in future . Collapse

Lovely clean hotel with fantastic housekeeping, spacious rooms, none of the rooms have a sepersate bedroom tho so families share 1 room with twin beds and 2 fold out single beds. The food selection is awesome there really is something for all tastes at each meal time. The spa is included but you have to book in advance. The large indoor pool is lovely but children must be qaccompanied by an adult to use it. The outdoor pools can get crowded on the hotter days. Location is ok, right near the indoor market, KFC and there is a large pharmacy opposite. 5 minutes walk to the beach and the main strip. The glass elevators are great for the views!! If your on a high floor expect qeues for the lifts (although they were working on putting extra lifts in on our visit) The staff who do activities in the daytime and run the entertainment in the evening are hard working and great fun.
