We are a family of 5 (3 little kids) and we had a great time. The location is not bad- nice not to be in centre of town, 20 minute walk from centre. Would ideally love to be a bit more central but kids had scooters and pram so was a reasonable journey. Evening and day time entertainment was rubbish - the place we stayed last year was incredible in comparison but the kids were happy just being in the pool. There are a few pools- the main one has a good kids section, but the main part goes down to 3m deep which felt a little excessive for a hotel pool. There are a few super markets not too far away- we didn't eat in the hotel restaurant, we had a self catering room with kitchenette which was great. Rooms were modern and tidy- the cleaners didn't come one day and because we were on ground floor, we found quite a lot of ants came and visited (maybe we should have tidied up better). There is wifi available but costs money and didn't reach to our room. The gym is only open parts of the day which is also a little strange. There is a shuttle bus but it only runs into town in the morning and then out of town early evening. We had a great holiday, would be happy to return again, although would like to be more central ideally. Collapse

Well what can I say I was apprehensive as the reviews were saying negative things .But oh my the whole place excelled itself. Each and every member of staff please take a bow and I mean every one of you our stay was absolutely wonderful. We stayed for 14 nights all inclusive and the food and drink were of good quality and my concern was folk saying that the beer is served in small glasses ,we'll order 2 it's simple .I would recommend this hotel to anyone with a family as it catered for all our needs .We stayed in the 2 bedroom annex room 3009 and the room was perfect for us and the pool was literally 5 meters from our patio doors .We will return thanks folks . There are three areas to this hotel - (1) The main hotel with pool and bar, (2) the standard apartments (across a small road which is a dead end and mostly traffic free, aside from the occasional coaches dropping off), and (3) the deluxe apartments (also across the road). I am sure this is well established but it's important to know which bit you have paid for! We stayed in the standard apartments which have their own pool (as does the deluxe apartments) and this review is about this option. As well as the pool we had a small playground (swing + 1 other item). The area around the pool is nicely landscaped with an emphasis on grass and trees. Ground floor apartments open out directly onto grass and the pool which is a really useful for those with children who love to swim. Inside the space is adequate and kitted out for basic cooking, laundry, and watching TV, etc. Big plus was the aircon which worked really well and was fully adjustable. Noise was not an issue from neighbouring apartments which was a real plus. Beds were comfortable. Some of the fixtures and fittings needed repair but it was minor issues. No bath - good size shower with plenty of hot water. To begin with there were only 4 TV channels and all German so we went into settings on the TV and did a re-tune - sure enough 40+ new ones appeared, including BBC and ITV, so that's a top tip. The only issue during our stay was the arrival of the large group of Spanish teenagers attending a sailing school. The adults running the training were very hands off and so kids did was you would expect and completely took over the pool every afternoon. Not ideal and it really caused friction with the families on holiday. A real mismatch of place and people - and probably a regular booking for the hotel so something to be aware of. Aside from that we had no problems. The normal hotel facilities are there if you want them but you can avoid going 'over the road' at all if you wish. We hired a car and we found it easy to park in town (car parks at the back). Without a car the hotel is isolated, although the mini supermarket 1 minute away is really well stocked. When our kids get older we might even spring for a luxury apartment. But for now the standard apartment was great holiday base for our family and we will come back again in future. Collapse

Was a part family part cycling holiday. So for cycling it's very good. For a family holiday the pool areas are uninspiring, for one of the pools you have to cross an internal road to get to the bar. The bar area was ok but it really lacked somewhere nice to have a drink and relax with a nice outlook/view. This is a shame considering the views from the back of the hotel! On the good to very good range is the food, staff and the spa facilities. Collapse
