Double tree should step up! and your key cards dont work well, it took 7 tries to open the room up!! even another person next to me was doing the same!! LOL Thats the only complaint I have, other wise, everyone in staff was very sweet, and if anything went wrong, or I had directions to ask, or needed a towel, they acted fast! Like those cookies! Breakfeast, lunch, dinner, snacks, just because i wanted one, I got one!! YUMMY!! Plus the rooms are very rommie!!! : ) a tip: Get the 6th floor! by the mall side!! its not loud at all!! Collapse

Had a one night reservation at this hotel because we could not get a flight that would get us into town in time to catch the ferry to Victoria, British Columbia. Unfortunately for us, it was also the night of a storm so our flight was extremely delayed. We spent approximately 6 hours here so we can't review all of the hotel. We arrived at 1:30 am and were promptly buzzed into the lobby. Loved that security feature...no room key? You must be let into the building. The front desk staff was very nice and the cookie was still warm. The room was clean, but a bit dated. The hallway opens to an atrium, with the restaurant in the center. These are typically noisy, but was very quiet when we arrived in the middle of the night. Breakfast buffet in the morning came with a nice variety and more friendly staff. And the hospitality continued to checkout. She even checked that our Edmonds to Kingston ferry was on schedule. If I'm in town again, I would definitely stay here. Collapse

Hotel and staff were excellent. Make sure you enter the correct information on your gps or you may end up at the wrong hotel trying to check in as I did! There are two doubletrees "at the airport." This one has "suites" in the title, the other does not. Also, there was a Cheesecake Factory across the street. Perfection. Collapse

I reserved a room in this hotel for a very short stay and wished this type of place had been located in downtown Seattle with the promoted price I got. It is located near the airport and to void confussion it is always best if you state to the the cab driver to take you to the one near Tukuila as there are two Hilton Hotels within the área. By reading all of the negative reviews in regards to cleanliness and looks, I must state the opposite. This is a place built with precision to almost reaching perfection I would say. Expect also spacious bedrooms and very well lit hallways. Yes, it may be old but well kept (maintenance wise). I went to get a drink and a delicious snack to the bar at an hour in the afternoon that there were only two other customers. The top notch well seasoned bartender was a one of a kind actor, a true asset to this hotel!!!. Impecable drinks served with flawless movements as more and more people filled up the place. Our room was spacious, two humongous TV screens with HD channels. Sincé I came with family, we found enough electrical port outlets to recharge all our cell phones and there were still port outlets to spare. What more can anyone ask?? Oh yes, the shuttle bus driver, five stars all the way, ultra clean bus despite the rain!!! Collapse

We checked in late; around midnight. The grumpy desk clerk (actually the night auditor) gave us the key to our room. It did not work. We returned downstairs for another key, which also did not work. We went downstairs again and the clerk came up to the room with us. He also could not get the key to work. He left for a while and then returned with some physical keys. He explained that he might be able to get the door open, but we could never leave and get back in without a staff member getting the physical key. What a dumb idea, but it didn't matter because he could not open the door, even with the physical key. I asked for another room with two beds as requested, but was told none existed. After some arguing, we were given a very nice room, BUT it only had one bed. So, my traveling companion and I had to share the bed. Terrible night's sleep! A few days later, I spoke to the manager about the situation and the reaction was pretty much, "oops, too bad." My "compensation" was enough additional Hilton HHonors points to get 1/10 of a free night. Seriously???? You mean that I would have to book a room at this hotel 10 times, get cheated out of the two beds I reserved 10 times, and get a horrible night's sleep 10 times, before I would get a free night? I don't think so. BE WARNED ... You might not get what you pay for. PS - I'm a HHonors Diamond member and usually get treated much better than this ... but then again, that is at other properties.
