I highly recommend this hotel if it's in your price range for the season that you're coming and even more so if you are a Hilton Honors member. I stayed 6 nights in room 314, king suite, middle of the hotel overlooking the pool. This room is nicely renovated. Balcony head furniture. Air conditioning and heating work very well. Very hot shower, good for tall people. Bathroom lighting at sink/mirror is perfect. Extremely clean. Very comfortable bed. Lots of hangers. Small sink and counter with refrigerator and coffee maker but you need to ask for a microwave. Outlets at lamps are a bit low to the table surface for some chargers, so I raised them with a book. I am glad another reviewer recommended downloading the app. I was able to request free amenities (robe, extra towel) and check in much sooner than I would have been able to, arriving on a very late flight. All staff were friendly, professional and very helpful. The housekeeping staff were terrific. I noticed that local area businesses use their conference facilities everyday, which I take as a good sign also if excellent service. I checked out a chair and a towel to go to the beach, and they also have an umbrella if you need one. The pool area was very nice, pool was very clean, warm. They even have an outdoor sofa TV and reading area. I did not use the restaurant or room service. There was some work being done to the main entrance that I did not know about an advanced so we had to use a different door as the main entrance for that week. I got the impression various parts of the hotel are slated for various renovations, perhaps spread out over time? I am generally a very tough reviewer and try to be very fair listing all the positives and negatives. But honestly (beside the main floor hallway carpet smelling moldy) there's nothing negative thing I could say about my stay. I will definitely come back to this hotel!! Collapse

We stayed here for four nights in early November as a part of our Florida vacation. We = me, my wife and our two sons (11 and 6 yrs old). We arrived around 4 PM and due to remodeling the lobby entrance was closed (but opened after two days in to our stay) so where directed to enter though a back entrance, there where no line at check in, I had two room booked as my parents accompanied us on this trip, the check-in clerk said that due to being fully booked only one room was upgraded to a room with balcony, of course I passed the upgrade to my parents. Cookies was handed out, when I declined for my youngest son due to gluten the clerk said to wait a second as he brought a package of gluten free chocolate chip cookies to my youngest son. We arrived to our room where bottles of waters and a hand written welcome note where places on the bedroom table. The room it self was nicely decorated and consisted of a living room with a sofa, coffee table, an armchair as well as a small table/working desk. A mini refrigerator and wet bar was also in the room. The separate bedroom had two queen beds and the bathroom, with bathtub and shower combination was accessible from both the living room and bedroom. Four full sets of towels was provided in the bathroom as well as two bathrobes. The beds were comfortable. There where two 37" TV's, one in each room with DirectTV so there where more than plenty of channels available incl. premium channels. We changed to our swim gear and headed for the pool, a nice layout mid size pool with plenty of sund beds, pool towels provided at the pool. We ordered drinks from the bar and brought to the pool a couple of times during our stay, a most generous happy hour every day from 3 PM to 7 PM every day worth to mention. There's was a pool patio with tables, lounge group and a TV (perfect to take a quick peak for the Saturday and Sunday scores) The pool was a perfect spot to mingle with other hotel guest. However the pool was never crowded and on a few occasions we had the pool to our self's. We had breakfast (comped full breakfast) every morning in the restaurant, besides a buffet one could order cook-to-order items as well. A good thing since all the meats and egg wasn't gluten free (bacon and sausages placed over bread in the serving trays), me and my youngest son (as well as my dad) could order eggs, omeletts and bacon from the kitchen cooked-to-order. A nice surprise was gluten free bread available at the buffet in a separate container. Besides carbs, meat and eggs there where a nice selection of fresh fruits and yogurt. Coffee, tea and juice was served at the table by the servers. House keeping did an excellent job over our entire stay, the little extra touches and also new water bottles and bars was restocked every day. We had to leave som stuff behind the last day that we couldn't fit in our bags, so I left a double tip for house keeping due to the extra work I left them. Overall the hotel staff was excellent, always a smile and and extra smile to our children. The exterior of this hotel i nice, a good mix of exterior colors, a few hurricane damages could be spotted, the lobby entrance was under completion when we arrived with new landscaping in place. The hotel as nice and warm "southern hospitality" ambiance, and feels more personal than corporate, perfect when one visits for vacation. The location is good an convenient next to SR41, a lot of stores and restaurant nearby, only about 5-10 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to downtown Naples. Check out was swift and efficient. We would defiantly stay Doubletree Suites by Hilton Naples if we return to Naples. EK Collapse
