Traveled to Disneyworld as a couple - we were very happy with the room, hotel grounds, and food and beverage options. Easy to grab breakfast in the morning and had an awesome dinner at the on site restaurant after a day at the parks. Room was cleaned regularly and well, and staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back! Thank you for everything! Collapse

We stayed at the hotel while attending the event at the Orange County convention center. Note that while convention center is located within a mile distance from the hotel, walking from the hotel to the convention center is rather cumbersome and not recommended. Hotel is also located very close to the SeaWorld entrance. Overall the hotel is built to be a “resort” and it charges the resort fee. The hotel consists of main tower (17 floors) and a number of small buildings surrounding the main tower. The rooms in the main tower are more of standard hotel rooms, where the rooms in the small buildings are more of the family/longer stay type, offering kitchenettes etc.. The check-in experience was a bit strange, with multiple errors made one after another, requiring multiple visits to the front desk. However, all the issues were handled gracefully and politely, so no complaints about service. The hotel had a feeling of a recent renovation done to the grounds and general facilities, including the contact-less room entrances (you don’t have to deal with swiping the card). However, it seems that this is where the renovation ended. The room was clean a comfortable, but a bit dated. The work desk had only two power outlets, and if you want to make coffee, you have to use one of those two outlets - not very convenient. No USB power sockets are offered. Also, no glasses of any kind in the room, except paper coffee cups - I understand all the green initiatives, but I prefer to have something to put my toothbrush into instead of laying in down on some towel. The bed was comfortable. A/C was efficient and quiet, which is definitely a plus. Good size bathroom, well appointed with amenities. As a drawback, the water pressure in the shower was definitely insufficient for a nice refreshing experience (my room was on the 16th floor, not sure if it had anything to do with that). The breakfast buffet was “resort-like”, with a good amount of fresh fruit, an omelet station and good variety of dishes. However, over the 4 days stay, the selection was absolutely identical (it would be nice to see at least one different dish every day). We also had dinner and lunch at the Laguna restaurant - reasonable selection of the menu items, but note that lunch menu mostly looks like a reduced replica of a dinner menu. Overall probably a good deal for the money. Collapse

The footprint for this hotel is very large. There is a main tower and motel like buildings surrounding the main grounds. We were in a building by the Children’s area which the lady at the front desk said would be great for us so we’d be right near the children’s pool. We were therefore surprised to find out that this pool was closed for the day I would because the following day for landscaping. I feel like this should be mentioned to all guests at check in, especially ones you’re putting near the children’s pool acting like it’ll be an added convenience. There was another main pool further from our room. Ours kids did enjoy the nine holes of miniature golf which could use some refurbishing. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee from the market in the morning. Rooms are updated but because of the floor plan constraints with the old motel layouts they were a bit reminiscent of a motel in the 70s and 80s. We didn’t go to Seaworld but it’s probably the closest hotel to Seaworld. It’s seemed to be very busy with business clientele. Collapse

I came here for a government seminar, I was in class long hours and consequently asked for customer service late into the night, i.e. wake up calls, shower cap, extra water, spare pencils and dinner at 11:00pm. The front desk staff were polite and efficient. Nothing was "too much." At midnight I asked for a valet for my luggage and also early check out for the next day. In the morning, when I woke, I had an envelope under my door with check out already completed. I want to thank Cecily and the front desk staff for making my stay enjoyable, and the valets: John, Rashad and Christian. We had some great conversations while loading my car with luggage! My room was clean and the breakfast buffet excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Hint: When you treat people well, they respond in kind. Thank you April, as an Honors member I will be back. :) Collapse

I have stayed in Super 8’s that were nicer than this “Hilton” hotel. Stained lampshade?! Don’t know what is all over the door. Bug in the bed. POOLSIDE MUSIC BLASTING! We have a poolside room and I can hear the conversations of guests as if I am sitting next to them. It is 10pm. I asked for a room swap upon arrival at 5pm and was told there were none available?? There were 20 people in line in the lobby waiting to check in! I was going to say this motel might be nice for a quick overnight maybe but it is way too noisy. Find another place to stay... Collapse
