My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here last week as part of a trip to a friends wedding. We had one night at Double Tree and I could seriously have done with a lot more! The place was stunning. We had pre booked a bed up by the infinity pool as I had read about it on TA. 25 euros from 3 till 8. It wasn't busy so they invited us up there from 1. The bar area and pool area were amazing. Probably the best looking pool I have ever used. The use of the bed included a half bottle of Cava and a fruit platter. Both very nice. We spent the day soaking up the sun, enjoying cocktails and drinks, chatting to other guests, swimming and taking in the amazing views! Building work? Yeah there was but it didn't bother us one bit! We sat up there till gone 9 watching the sun set behind the hills. We ate in the main restaurant, where we paid 25 euros each for a nice buffet. Not the best food I'd ever had but plenty of variety, served hot and the staff were great. In fact every member of staff we came into contact with were happy and very helpful! The room was great fun! We love quirky and unusual and the layout and decor of this room was both! It was like a bathroom and a bedroom in one. Hard to explain but I've added a couple of pics for you see for yourselves. Nice balcony with distant sea views and also of the hills. Except that it was all shrouded in fog in the morning so we couldn't enjoy it! Lots of art work and sculpture throughout the industrial looking lower floors. It is way up a hill as mentioned but transport to the beach or shops is readily available and not to expensive. Breakfast was included in room price. We enjoyed a wonderful buffet including all the cooked and continental including free flowing Cava! Bonus!! Loved it! If I ever get the chance, I will be back. I want to be back on the roof right now!!! Collapse

This place was great for a girls weekend away- large enough pool areas, adult only areas, good room layout and comfortable beds, seating. Only issue was open plan toilet and bath/shower- great for couples, not so great for friends sharing

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. All the staff were extremely nice and helpful which made my stay very nice. A special mention to Viktor in the buffet restaurant, he was lovely and always supplied a nice fresh cool wine in a spotless glass. The buffet restaurant had a good variety of food and I could always find something to eat that I enjoyed and I am a fussy eater. The Chinese themed night was particularly enjoyable. I was there on my own for a mix of business and pleasure and would recommend it to anyone who was travelling solo. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms a bit quirky but very clean. The infinity pool area was lovely, however they really should have a small area for singles as it is very much aimed at couples. The courtesy train was an excellent touch and the drivers were very nice. I loved it here and will be going back. My only negatives are the grassy area around the pool, this really isn't an inviting area to relax and sunbathe and would be nice to see this getting upgraded. Instead I used the pool area at the sports complex which was nice. The tennis court area was very busy and while I didn't mind this, the shouting from them could get a bit annoying, especially in the evening. Overall, a lovely hotel with nice staff, I cant wait to go back. Collapse

This in the middle of nowhere hotel advertises as better suitable for adults and pictures of lovely rooftop pool and sauna. At £180 a night don't expect a free bottle of water. Then to have a 10 minute sauna next morning after spending money in their bar will set you back 35 Euro each. Early morning your sea view is groups of Spanish children playing tennis on their 14 courts . Everyone full as they have some kind of contract with schools. So much for adult getaway. Oh well, I will pick my next holiday more careful and read every review from now on. This is the first ever review I have wrote as people always describe me as the most laid back person they have met. Don't go here guys. You've been truthfully warned. Collapse

Really lovely hotel with excellent facilities. It is annoying that you have to pay for a bed on the rooftop infinity pool, but because we were away of this prior to our stay we weren't disappointed. We ate in several of the restaurants (breakfast, rooftop pool bar and Aruba) and the food did not disappointment, it was amazing. Also food and drinks were well priced for a hotel. Very handy that there is a shuttle into the town, saves money on taxis. We also got the train back to the airport and this was very easy and very cheap. We will definitely return! Collapse
