I like it here. It's a nice hotel. I stay on business in MK a lot and this is always my go to hotel. The staff are friendly and do their best to help. The bar staff are great - always with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and large. Love the view if you get a pitch view room. Now if only I was here when a match was on. Lovely hotel. Great food and lots of restaurants next door. Great bar and great staff. Let down by the smell of smoke drifting in from people outside the front door smoking and the odd z list footballer walking through reception like they own the place. Nice business hotel. Not somewhere you want to come for a romantic getaway. Collapse
great value in an unusual setting

Not a place I would usually book into, but I had no choice, to be honest I was not looking forward to staying here, so here we go, we arrived, and as thought it is attached to a sports arena, thankfully there was no game on as I would dread to think what I would have found, so listen up, its cold, freezing, so girls with just about on cloths draped themselves outside the main reception area, smoking with there men folk or alone, which meant the gauntlet ahead of a smoke filled passageway into the reception, so far not good, parking too was not easy, that said, I arrived at reception, the staff though functional, did their job with an eye to the next pay check, which I think they earned in a quirky way, judging by the tapestry of variable guestsgrouping around the foyer, variants in various states of undress, men dressed as Women, with legs to die for, skirts that looked liked belts, but no one would have been fooled these were after all men, they dressed like ladies, but they were men made more interesting by the deep northern tones of their collective voices, the way in which they walked, made it very entertaining, that said I was beginning to wish I had booked elsewhere, I know this is not politically correct, but in all honesty, it's something that where I come from you simply do not see or are not subjected to, think of les in Benidorm, then there was the girls, have they never heard of a coat! Heels too that should carry a health tag warning. Oh well enough of the entertainment that was being played out in the foyer, which I must add extended well into the evening, apparently it was an amazon staff get together, a gathering of people that were certainly out to have a good time. The check in complete we were directed to our room ,had I known that it would take twenty minutes to walk to my room I might well have requested a cancellation, yes twenty minutes, this was the first of many a mile walked that night trying to find our way around this enormous hotel layout, however, the sobering thought was that for sure we could if we had chosen got high and dry in the bar and by the time we got to our room arrived completely sober..such was the distance from A to B, the room though was absolutely splendid, comfortable spacious and very well laid out, extremely clean a comfortable bed and a mattress that did not echo your feelings to all and sundry, the bathroom too was a delight. All in all a lovely room let down only by the fact that all rooms seemed to be positioned to ensure that you would be given a stay that promised much walking, the sleep, that we had was like a bug in rug and the morning came with a hug, down to breakfast, it was ok, typical large hotel buffet offering, where it seems people gather to display their digestive Olympic efforts, competition time at the grid, no at the trough, why is is people find it difficult to act with even a little bit of manners and table etiquette, the food was ok, cold, well handled and went down as if one had swallowed a brick. The coffee was a challenge even to the most experienced motorway service station rep. All in all, this is a place where to be fair you really do get what you pay for. Oh forgive me, I forgot, the evening meal, to get to the point, one of the nicest fillet steaks I have had in a long time, the service in the restaurant though I must say apart from the young girl was a little in sincere, sad really it could be a blue peter badge moment, but instead it was a meal in a hurry....would I return.....no never. I still cannot get my male head around a man wanting to dress like a women....but as my wife says whatever floats your boater? Collapse

There is free parking at the hotel, we were welcomed with a warm cookie each, the room was ready early which was a bonus. we were on the 3rd floor room 3082 it took at least a 5 minute walk to the room corridor after corridor. The room was 10/10, I had booked a two bedroom room , there was a small hall way with the two bedrooms leading off the hall and a large bathroom at the end of the hall. the first bedroom had a king size bed, large telly, small mini fridge, tea and coffee facility's, ironing board and iron in the cupboard. the second room had two twin beds, another large telly wardrobe .both rooms had a clock radio, there was a hairdryer as well . The bathroom was large with two sinks a bath with built in shower. There was air conditioning in both rooms so you could adjust the temperature to suit. There was a comfy chair in each room it was clean and was a very quiet room. We had a meal in the pitch side bar as the pitch side restaurant was closed on Saturdays which didn't make sense to me. The food was average and a let down seeing it is a Hilton not the standard I was expecting ,disappointed. We had a drink in the terrace bar which opens at 3pm this is on the 3rd floor. The breakfast was good as this was in the pitch side restaurant so at last you can see the view of the MK DONS stadium which sold this hotel to me in the first place. if you stay on the 4th floor you can get a good view from the corridor to the rooms. plus you can stay with rooms looking out to the football pitch.
