No real complaints about room or staff...pretty satisfied. Exception: internet reception horrible (at least in room 245). Also, breakfast pretty pricey at 17 pounds per person and not comparable to other European Hiltons I've stayed at. Would be more reasonable at about 10£ each for the full breakfast. Fortunately Tesco was easy walking distance and very affordable breakfast items. Hotel convenient to buses running to/from Hounslow West Underground Station. Never felt unsafe in neighborhood taking buses although returning to station late one night we did feel safer calling for an Uber. Hotel also has no ice machines, but will deliver bucket of ice to your room or you can stop at bar and pick up. If you ask for a mini fridge they will provide one, but it IS 'mini'...will hold 4 small drinks max. Clothes storage very limited (we had 3 people for about 11 days and pretty much lived out of suitcases. Overall, it was about the only Hilton property I could cover with my HiltonHonor points AND that had rooms with King/Queen and sleeper sofa for a 3rd. But, we did find the staff pretty friendly and helpful. Wouldn't say not to stay here, but just wanted to give a better view of what to expect. Collapse

Stayed in this hotel for one night as had to pick someone up from Heathrow early morning. Arrived and reception was ok with check in quite quick, that's where the good ended and the bad started. Arri ed in the room, no tea, coffee or milk so phoned down to reception and no answer. Phoned room service and requested some tea bags etc, waited 30 minutes and nothing. Phoned again requesting tea bags etc and waited 30 minutes nothing. Wi-Fi is shocking too, it kept dropping out every 10 minutes which was very annoying. Stayed in a few Hiltons and this has to be the worst for service.....and £120.00 for the pleasure Collapse

Accessible Room No. 203 This airport hotel is located in Cranford, on the outskirts of Hounslow, and if you take the Tube from central London it may be convenient to get off at Hounslow West and walk the mile along the Bath Road. We though opted to get off at the fully accessible underground station at T1,2,3 and catch the Heathrow Hoppa (H7) from T3 (H56 from T4 & T5). We paid £54 through Ebookers for a twin accessible room; our choice was based both on value for money and because the Hilton chain usually have decent accessible rooms. Check in was quick and we were handed a couple of warm cookies ….Mmmmm! We were advised that breakfast would start at 0530hrs but we would be on our way to the terminal by then. Our room was located on floor 2 (floor 1 to English folk); the hotel uses the American method of identifying floors. It was located next to the elevator but you wouldn’t know it as we didn’t hear it at all from the room. Our room was immaculately clean and had plenty of floor space, allowing my wife to manoeuvre her wheelchair easily. The door to the bathroom, at 90cm was plenty wide enough and there was more than enough space outside of it for my wife to enter it in one move; so many times she has found that the lack of floor space outside accessible bathrooms has meant she has had to slowly manoeuvre her chair back and forth to allow entry. The amenities within the room were sufficient and relevant to the type of hotel; flat screen TV, writing desk, radio/alarm, steam iron and board, tea and coffee, room safe and hairdryer, which pleasingly was not in a fixed position. There were sufficient power outlets appropriately located around the room and the free Wi-Fi signal was quite strong. The A/C in the room was very efficient and prevented the room from being stuffy. The accessible bathroom was not as large as some we have encountered but there was ample space for my wife to manoeuvre her wheelchair comfortably. The roll-in shower area was a good size with a strong seat, two fold-up grab bars and a grab bar fixed to the wall. The fixed upper showerhead was faulty though, with water gushing out of the side of it. Luckily it could be isolated and the water forced through the lower, moveable showerhead. The water pressure was constant and the temperature could be easily controlled. The complimentary toiletries were Crabtree & Evelyn albeit they were old lady lavender scented. The view from the room was of the internal quad and other rooms; no matter though – we didn’t expect to see the Taj Mahal from a Heathrow airport hotel. We would have preferred a queen or king bed rather than twins but we were only here for one night so it didn’t matter so much. It is my understanding that none of the accessible rooms have queen or king beds. The beds though were at the right height for my wife and they were very comfortable. It was too warm for a duvet though so the covers came off and were used separately. I would be nice, when it is so warm for hotels to supply an extra bed sheet as standard rather than just a duvet. The blackout curtains worked to good effect and we slept soundly for five hours before we had to get up; there was no noise pollution from the hallways or the adjacent elevators. We didn’t use the restaurant, instead opting for a pizza from the Dominos directly opposite on the Bath Road. Collapse

Booked in promptly & registered at reception for the overnight parking outside of the hotel (£12/night if you're staying at the hotel). Second floor double room (£99) is immaculate. Clean, lovely decor and plenty of room. King size bed (soooo comfy!),2 pillows each, air con. The room must be sound proof as we can't hear the planes! Tea, coffee, etc. Ironing board & iron as well as a safe. Rang down to reception for more milk & there was a knock about 2 mins later. Opened the door & milk cartons were in a cup in front of me - ninja trained knock & run champion staff!. Superb restaurant, lovely room, comfy bed, awesome staff - couldn't have asked for more. Booked two rooms for family, and had called to confirm they would be adjacent, but upon arrival this was a problem. Wrong answer to a Hilton Diamond member. Got fixed, but staff a bit 'reluctant' to show hospitality. (hint, Team Doubletree Heathrow.......you're in the HOSPITALITY business) Rooms decent enough......vintage non-remodeled Doubletree, so a bit tired. A/C on timer, does not work well. If hot outside, stay at a newer hotel. Collapse
