Loved this hotel. The room decor is simple and lovely. But i enjoyed the balcony the best. We over looked the bay and were able to sit and enjoy the warm night air. The only thing I didn't like was having to go into the mall for breakfast.

I'll start with the good- This hotel has a great location and the room decor is really nice. The selection of places to eat and stores in house is pretty convenient. I went for the water view king suite and the view was nice. Now- the reason for the 3 stars- first we got to our 7th floor room and the room key didn't work. Had to go back down to lobby hauling bags. Our room had several issues- plaster falling from bathroom light, glass door doesn't close and loudly hits glass on side, ceiling tiles crooked in bathroom, one faucet in bathroom broken and a dirty towel. Honestly I can't believe their cleaning staff didn't report any of this. We made coffee in the morning and the creamers in the room were curdled. Went down for more coffee packets and good creamer. Desk said they would have to send it up- 35 minutes later we got it! For $300 a night I expected more, I've had much better service at hotels 1/3 this price. Finally, yes, I made the hotel aware of these things before leaving. They just didn't respond how I would have expected- they offered some extra Hilton honors points. I wasn't in the mood to argue but I don't think that response was enough. I just wanted to start my cruise, which luckily had much better service! Collapse

Really nice hotel only bad thing was the double beds being to small I expected to have to queen beds.. pool area was really nice some times it was trouble getting the elevator to come u. Kts best to take the stairs

Upon arrival at approximately 3:30 we were told the room was not ready which that was not a problem but I would expect the room to be ready by 4:00 standard check-in and it was not. It was somewhere around 5:00 when we checked in and I think that happened only because we were persistent when checking the status. While waiting we went to the bar area for drinks, and noticed that the bartender and one of the wait staff were arguing about something right at the bar. It went on for maybe 15 minutes or so before they calmed down. I could not tell you exactly what the problem was because they were not speaking English. Saturday we went to the beach and spent most of the day but arriving back at the room we noticed that the room was cleaned but no washcloths and no towels. We didn't really have time to worry about it at that moment because we were heading out to the Bay for a boat tour. It was late when we got back to the room so we decided to call in the morning. The next morning I called about not receiving towels and the front desk told me that they would send up housekeeping which never happened. We may have called around five or six times and were told the same thing. Then finally the last call I made, I told them that we had a flight to catch and we needed to take a shower. This is when they came clean and said they did not have anything available that everything was being washed. I have never stayed anywhere in my life and been told that there were no washcloths or towels especially at such a nice hotel. They finally came up with some beach towels but no washcloths. She offered a free breakfast but we could not eat it because we had to get to the airport. We waited almost an hour and half to get pretty much nothing. She also said that she would've offered a discount but my room was already paid in full. My room was paid in full because I went through my travel agent. This experience was really bad and it would make me hesitate to stay at this hotel again. Collapse
