I am a loyal Hilton Honors member that travels for work @30 times a year. I have always made staying at Hilton properties a priority. That has changed after staying at this property. We were put in the two bedroom condo and paid the upgrade fee. The pics on the website look nothing like the outdated room we received. There were stains all over the living room furniture. There was an old sofa laying in the hallway in front of our door. There was dirt and mold growing under my bathroom sink. The second bedroom had a buzzing noise that would not stop. I did not sleep all night. I called twice to the front desk. They were nothing but rude and inconsiderate. I had to call three times to get the name of the hotel manager. No one could seem to remember his name. When I finally said, what is your name then, she shoved her business card literally in my face. I will be taking my business elsewhere in Miami and will be sure to let my coworkers know to STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!! Collapse

My friends and I were excited to stay at the Doubletree for the evening to go see Adele in concert. Although the hotel was conveniently located to the American airlines arena it was by far anything but a pleasurable stay. As a Hilton honors gold member we were excited to be upgraded to a two room condo with a balcony. The rooms Decor paid an homage to the 1980s and unfortunately so did the entire room. There was a screeching noise in the one bathroom that continued throughout the night. After several maintenance calls where no one showed up and when they finally did nothing was done. My friend was not able to get any sleep at all. The furniture was stained and tattered and torn. Mold under the bathroom vanities made my skin crawl to say the least. Then when we tried to speak politely to the front desk clerk (Diedre) she was less than helpful, rude, arrogant and condescending. When we asked for her name she wrote it on the business card and literally shoved it an inch from my friends face. This woman should not be greeting people at a front desk Let alone working for a Hilton property. She is a discredit to the Hilton organization. That being said do yourself a favor and find a different hotel to stay in when visiting Miami Biscayne Bay. Collapse

My wife and I stayed here for a couples' getaway after bidding on a 5 night stay through a silent auction at a charity event. The hotel is a dual purpose property housing condominiums as well as hotel rooms. Steps from the hotel are homeless people, harassing street vendors, and filth. The hotel was undergoing some sort of renovation with grinding drilling commencing at 9am throughout the day making it impossible to enjoy the room. The bathroom was far too small even for one person. Only one staff member was of any use at all. The rest were uninformed and frankly useless. The Collapse

Loved the location and the room was very bright and open. The staff was very friendly and were very helpful to get us checked in early when we took a red eye into town and didn't have anywhere to stay. Would definitely stay there again.
