Think Elegance, and style. The inside is just amazing. I have been coming to Disney World for about 11 years. First time I have ever stayed here and I find myself kicking myself for not coming sooner. All the restaurants here are top notch and many have been my favorites for years. The location is spreed out, and a lot of thought was given to making you feel like you have walked into a scene from "My Fair Lady". It has an historic feel about the property. It sits on the lake, with views of Magic Kingdom, The Polynesian and Bay Lake Towers. Also at fireworks each night you get a ring side seat to some seriously good views and almost no crowds. Collapse

If you've never done Disney before this is definitely the hotel to stay at! It's magical for your little Princes and Princesses! So much to do, plenty of entertainment for the children to make their stay at Disney a magical experience! They had meet and greet with the Disney Characters, the Cafe 1900 is a must for the little ones and big ones alike! So definitely book this! There are so many different experiences to chose from and we did quite a few the only one I could say I was disappointed with was "Be our Guest" at Beauty and the Beasts castle! We thought you got to meet Bell and the Beast but that was not the case, you just eat a breakfast which if I'm honest was not that good and have a quick look around 2 rooms where other guests are eating their breakfast not sign of Bell! My daughter was really disappointed! You must go to the restaurants at the hotel as they are by far the best in the whole Narrcoises is amazing! Not sure if I've spelt that correctly and there was another one Citroses? I'm not sure on the name but that's the one upstairs and it is amazing food and lovely views! You can see the fire works from the hotel every night and they also do a boat show on the lake which are both amazing! But you must go to the park at least once to see the fire works up close as the animation displayed on the castle is truly spectacular! And the parades during the day are also a must! Getting back to the hotel, the staff are very attentive and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble! The rooms are clean and spacious you can also get your clothes cleaned at a reasonable price! The dining plans are also a good idea as it makes for a hassle free holiday and you can use these in all the restaurants and in all the parks! If I'm honest my family and I liked the Disney parks we did try Universal but I found it a wast of money as the queue's were ridiculous! At Disney you can do fast pass but unless your willing to fork out over a £100 for each person on top of the price of the park entry you have to que! And boy in the August heat that's not fun!! Also want to mention that Disabled guests are looked after and every park is catered for the disabled guest! As I have to use a wheel chair and we found the service great! You can hire a wheelchair for a week at a time which does work out cheaper, the electric chairs are $80+ a day so that is quite expensive but the the other wheelchairs are around $8 a day! They also rent buggies for kids either a single one or a double one which is a massive help as it does get extremely hot during the August months and kids do get very tired! Mind so so the adults! Hope this is of some help to you! Any questions feel free to message me! Kind regards xx Collapse

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Disney's Grand Floridian staff and resort. During our 12 day stay in Orlando I booked an outside concierge room at the Grand Floridian for 4 nights/5 days. We had stayed at the property the prior year and since we were celebrating a Birthday and my Anniversary I had my heart set on the same room with the view of the pool we had the year before. I did everything possible to make sure it was noted on my reservation. At the concierge check in the front desk Manager John and his assistant Pam greeted us with a warm smiles. They were trying to get us checked in asap when John noticed that the room I requested was not available for our stay. He apologized many times and searched to find us a similar view but had a hard time finding a room in the location I requested. They suggested we go to the park and they would try to work some Disney Magic and text us when a room would be available that would be as good if not better then what I had requested. Not long after we got a Voicemail message from John letting us know our room was ready and he found us an absolutely gorgeous room with an amazing view. Once we got up to our room we were so very pleased. The view was amazing and the room was spacious and easily accessible to the pool and concierge floor. John and Pam really went out of their way to make sure we had a very special stay at the Floridian and we certainly did. This resort might cost a bit more then the others but the staff truly tries to make sure you are relaxed and happy and the resort itself is just beautiful. Have nothing but happy thoughts of my stay at the Grand Floridian and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have an amazing Disney experience. Thank you John the Front Desk Manager on 8/9/17 for going out of your way to make my family happy! I appreciate your customer service and warm welcome! We can't to come back! Collapse

We want to come back soon. Husband was here for a conference. Stayed in one of the top floor rooms close to the lagoon. Quiet. View of pool--boys enjoyed both pools. Great snack restaurant within short walk. Transportation a breeze! Monorail was only down for a short time one day. Clean, gorgeous, well-appointed. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back!
