After reading some of the reviews, I was a little concerned about my stay. What I can tell you is that you shouldn't be! Hotel is in great location, center of village. You can easily access restaurants, shops, market, etc. They have ski rental and storage near entrance. A shuttle bus is available to take to bottom of mountain or it's a short 8 min walk. The bus also took us to dinner and picked us up several nights. We could of walked but it was pouring rain so this really helped! They have good hot tubs, pool, sauna and a small gym. The Brickworks Restaurant is attached and had a good breakfast. Last, the service was impeccable from the shuttle driver to the bell stand, concierge, and housekeeping. Everyone was eager to help, friendly, and kind. Collapse

This hotel is in a great location for skiers visiting Whistler resort for a very cosy, wintery holiday. The staff are very helpful to help cater to your needs and make your holiday great. The front desk staff were on hand to lend us advice, share their knowledge and make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is in a great location, near the shops and eateries whistler has to offer and a short 10 minute walk to the skiers plaza (15 with skis!). You are right near the Olympic Village, several restaurants and there is a ski rental shop right at the bottom of the hotel where guests get complimentary ski storage. Our room and bathroom were quite small once we had unpacked our things and got our poles and ski boots in following a day on the slopes. It was annoying but not a real problem, so be sure to request a larger room for ski equipment if you can. My boyfriend had problems using the wifi on his phone but I did not so it was temperamental as other reviews say, but not enough to be a problem, you are on holiday after all! Rooms came complete with basic kitchen amenities, a fridge, tea and coffee but no safe!! Which was a slight issue and an area for improvement. The outdoor pool and hot tubs were great for relaxing after a busy day on the slopes; but be warned at the end of the ski day it gets very busy until approx 6pm when it quiets down again! This is the best time we found to go down. This hotel was lovely for what we wanted and was very good value for the package we paid. Would recommend for any couple travelling to Whistler! A very helpful and friendly hotel. Collapse

My wife and I stayed at the Delta for 7 nights during December January for a ski holiday. Upon arrival we were meet by warm friendly staff. My first impressions were of a pleasant welcoming hotel reception. Check in was seamless and soon after we in our room. We were sharing a two bedroom suite with another couple so the rooms were a good size and nicely appointed. Everything was there we required and we felt we had made a good choice. Ski hire was within the building so this made things effortless when hiring and then storing skis. Great location meant we could stroll through the village to the lifts ( even though a bus was provided) this was handy when choosing a restaurant, coffee, fashion, supplies. The village at night was lit up with countless lights in trees giving us a real snow/village feel. loved it. There is nothing that I could complain about. Staff at the Delta made our trip,, helpful, kind, thoughtful, they made holidaying pleasant. Collapse

Stayed for ski vacation from Dec 25-Jan 6. Paid extremely high price for holiday week (over $900 USD per night), so expected a lot from this resort. Unfortunately, it was a C+ property not worthy of the cost. Our King Suite room faced Whistler Mtn, but also overlooked the outdoor hot-tubs...I figured this would be a constant noise issue during sleep time, but strangely, all "partying" seemed to cease by 9pm (good for us tired skiers who fall asleep by 10pm). Room was spacious and had a King bedroom, full kitchen, fireplace, and a W/D, but had several design flaws. One, the sleeper sofa opens up to be only several inches away from the fireplace...seems like a fire hazard to me and was reluctant to operate the fireplace when bed was opened. Also, a wooden drawer only about 2 ft high but 3 ft wide was located right at the spot where I would leave the King bed...literally less than 1-ft distance between the two - so constantly banged my knee and toes on this stupid thing (almost tried putting it on balcony just to prove a point but wife convinced me otherwise). The bathroom was very tight/cramped and the toilet is a joke - for elementary school sized kids (too low to ground, too small, and circular, not oval). Plumbing was horrible - bath sink was clogged and toilet wouldn't flush unless you pushed the level down for about 10 seconds or so. Shower was quirky (handheld - not fixed), so getting the shower to "behave" was sometimes an issue. No lock on bedroom door, so no full privacy from kids. The room is in need of a remodel. Carpet was worn and in need of a full steamclean or replacement. Huge leak in master room ceiling (water damage spots and a crack nearly 10-ft long), which leaked three times when we were there. Dents and dings and marks are everywhere. Dryer doesn't work well. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Many times they did not give us the two daily complimentary water bottles, or enough towels, or enough shampoo/conditioner. I'm not sure they ever vacuumed. Wi-Fi was also inconsistent. Pros were a great/comfortable King Bed, quiet nights, Affinity ski rentals right downstairs, great outdoor hot-tubs, and great service from all the staff we dealt with. HOWEVER, if not for the location (perfectly centered in the village), this is currently a C+ hotel charging rates much higher than what it's worth. For the cost, I expected much more. We will be back to Whistler, but next time I'll find a hotel in the village that is just as good for less money. Collapse
