We were staying in the Mediterreano Hotel down the road from the Deloix for four days, found out is was Benidorm's Fiesta week, 11th November 2016 to 16th and the Brit Fancy dress day on the 17th, so extended our stay and moved to the Deloix for a further 5 days. On entry to Deloix Hotel, we found the reception staff helpful, friendly, informative and when appropriate amusing. The room we had was at the back, with great views of the mountains. The room was big, with twins beds with the addition of a sofa which was a pull out bed. The room smelt clean on entry with a strong smell, of what I thought was Orange blossom, (I am sure my wife will say it was a different fragrance). The towels were changed on a daily basis, the beds made up each day of course and changed linen every few days, each day there was the same fragrance, very pleasant. The bathroom was large with a shower / bath. There was a large flat TV screen on the wall, apparently recently installed, along with the normal Spanish channels, it also had ITV 1,2,3 and 4, plus 24 hr news. Each room had FREE Wi Fi, which worked well and did not drop out whilst we were there. Not sure about a car park but there was ample parking, without restriction to the front, side and rear of the hotel. There is clearly a safe in the room, I understand that you need to attend reception to obtain a lock but I am unaware of the cost. There is an super indoor pool. A large round pool, with timed water jets. There is a ramp into this pool for ease of access, plus ladders and I think a hoist. To one side of this pool there is a ledge which has timed jets, bit like a Jacuzzi. There is a lower level play pool. Plus there are two separate Jacuzzi's. I think the main pool has a water channel leading to the outside pool but this was November. It is a MUST that you wear a swim hat, this is enforced by the life guard attendant. This is a vending machine on the entrance to the pool, I do not know the cost but this sells swim hats, I guess it would cost 3 to 4 euro, but I do not know that. The life guard is not in attendance all the time but there are signs clearly indicating what times they are on duty. I do not know the opening times of the pool but again I guess it is mid morning to tea time. Clearly there is a large outdoor pool and also a roof top pool on the 4th floor but I am told it is only open July and August? To walk to the beach is about 20 - 25 minutes walk, to Levante Beach. However, outside the hotel is the drop off / pick up points for local buses, the number 10 runs about every 10 to 15 minutes and costs 1.50 euro to the main centre Mediterraneo Ave, from there it is about 5 minutes walk through to the beach. The number 4 bus also run the same route. We only stayed B & B, mainly because we wanted to be in Town for the Fiesta parades and fireworks. It seemed strange that most days during the Fiesta, they had massive firework displays, morning, noon and night. The strangest was each weekday at 2 pm, they closed the main Mediterraeno Ave and had a large display, now I would accept it is bizarre to have a display at 2 pm in Spain but it is NOT about the air display it is all about the sound, extraordinary bangs, the ground shakes and the smoke is unreal, (a H & S nightmare I am sure but superb). Breakfast was fine, what you expect, a large range of Continental style food, the usual cereals and their version of an English Breakfast but the eggs are something to be missed. Plenty of fruit juice and coffee machines that actually provide HOT water for tea and coffee. The staff in all areas of this hotel, I found were polite, friendly, smiley, (if there is such a word) and a credit to the Hotel. I found the bar prices to be reasonable but we were not in hotel much as we wanted to be in Town to see the parades. Likewise I have no idea what the entertainment was like. Away from the hotel, going towards the Town and sea front and all within 10 minutes walk, was firstly the Iceland supermarket and after this Mas Y Mas supermarket. Further on we found the Happy House Chinese restaurant ...... superb, with quick service. Leaving the hotel and going away from the sea front and within 5 minutes, there are a number of little bars on a strip, which includes the super Curry Mile Indian, great Menu of the day but the food is a little spicey, hotter that we are used to in UK but great. Further along is Sharkey's Fish and Chip restaurant, (I know but try it), again great little menu of the day deals. Liked this Hotel, clean, friendly and located in a quiet area of Benidorm. Speaks volumes, (although you do not know me), that I am going back in December this year for another 5 days. Collapse

We were greeted at reception by Daniel who was very helpful and professional. Our room was very big and extremely clean. The bathroom is large and again very clean. Clean towels were changed daily and bed linen changed alternative days. The whole hotel is extremely well kept and clean. Reading some of the negative reviews about the food served, I do not think I was in the same hotel! The food offered in the evenings for our stay was varied and something for everyone. We even had Duck served the night before we left. The salads are fresh and with lots of veriety, there are always two or three fish choices and a large selection of cold meats together with all kinds of condiments. The deserts are again varied day to day and fresh fruit is always in abundance. Bread white and whole meal, bread rolls and baguettes are also there for you, should you want. Soup is served each night as well. Breakfasts : again something for everyone. Cerials, yoghurts, fruit, pastries, cold meats, cheese, back bacon, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausage, fried potatoes, Tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans the list can go on and on. Orange juice tea coffee etc is plentyful. The restaurant staff are really lovely helpful and polite. Evening Funtime for the children is put on nd afterwards either quiz time for the adults or Singers, magic shows etc can be enjoyed. Rebeca on reception is so approachable and helpful. Paola in the restaurant is determined to ensure that you have a great eatingg experience. We had a really lovely 10 days at the Deloix we were very sad to have to leave, but all good things have to come to an end. But we will be back!!! Collapse

First time in this hotel. I would certainly book it again. Clean comfortable rooms. Good pubs and night spots nearby. A 20 minute walk to the beach area. Spectacular views of the mountains. Public transport very frequent.
