Just arrived back from holiday at the deliox . (14th July 2017) Firstly good hotel situated in a good part of Benidorm bad part of the hotel was the food it is meant to be a 4 star but would rate it as minus 4 star for the food. Served up chicken nuggets that you wouldn't give to an animal let alone a human (brown inside). Very little for the kids to eat apart from chips the bacon and sausage in the morning weren't cooked properly and the chef was crabit and constantly yawning and didn't even cover his mouth. Didn't even have theme nights with the food. We stayed at a 3 star hotel last year and the food was brilliant. The staff in the restaurant worked very hard and I would say there weren't enough staff for the amount of guests . Big thank you to Miller who was always cheery and made you welcome. The pools at the hotel are very good but the downside is you are not allowed balls or lilos in the main pool which I feel is a bit petty as they have an adult pool on the roof. After all it is classed as a family hotel. The entertainment team worked very hard and the rooms are large and spacious. Andrea and Rab Cameron (Scotland) Collapse

Great hotel, best holiday I have had to date! We arrived 1145pm staying on HB basis, the staff had put aside a cold meal and drink for us which was greatly appreciated after our travels. The complex has 5 pools and 2 Jacuzzi pools, ( one adult only pool on the roof, one large unheated outdoor pool, one kids pool with slides and external park leading into the water. There are two indoor pools which require swim hats, but are well worth the 2.5euros) The gym doesn't have the greatest amount of free weights, up to 10kg, but has air con and the fixed multi gym machines will train every major muscle. I saw 2 ppl in the gym my entire stay! The hotel is very spacious, clean and well designed! The foliage around the hotel gives it some character. The staff couldn't do enough for us whilst there, special mention going to the food hall staff who literally tripped over themselves to pay our son attention. The variety of food available was brilliant, even at peak times, you had 100% selection as I never saw an empty tray. Prices at the bar were in keeping with the area A walk into town took us 15mins, a taxi to the port cost 11 euro. Evening entertainment for the kids drew quite a crowd and changed on an eveningly basis! Our room was cleaned daily and every room has its own balcony, designed in such a way as to allow you to make the most of the dying sun, but covered from the rain to dry your clothes on the ample storage. For those evenings where you just want to chill, our tv even had built in Netflix freee of charge! There are plenty of places to buy essentials nearby, within easy walking distance with the Benidorm Palace and Saturday circus approx. 10min walk from the hotel Collapse
Not a pleasant stay!

Where do I start.. after saving our hard earned money to take the kids away we looked for a 4 star hotel when we came across aqua deloix pics looked great and reviews so we booked. As we arrived we checked in and was told it was going to cost €3 euros a day for a kettle?!! We needed this for our 8 month old son to warm his bottles so we had no choice but to pay for it the man on reception came across quite rude and told us we could come to the bar at 5am if we wanted them warming but we decided to get the kettle. Towels are €8 euros per towel deposit (which you get back at the end of the day) but then €1 euro per towel per day which you don't get back. Our 2 oldest girls wanted to go into the indoor pool but couldn't until they Purchased swim caps for €2.50 each?!! The girls went out and bought floats and they were told they were not allowed them in the pool?!! So stayed in the room all holiday and never got used. Drinks were over priced but the measures i.e. Spirits were decent so some may not argue with the prices.. the breakfast was horrendous porridge tasted of baby milk, cooked breakfast was awful too coffee machine were rubbish didn't taste of coffee either.. rooms and hotel is clean fresh towels and bedding on every day but very uncomfortable beds. some of the staff not all are very frosty and not helpful at all, we had to visit a hospital during our stay and the hotel staff sent us to a private one rather than the main which we ended up having to pay for as wasn't covered in our policy rather than sending us to the public one which wasn't that far. The entertainment staff for children are brilliant and the mini disco is fantastic for kids, evening shows for adults can get a bit dull though. We have children and didn't want to stay where the stag and hen dos were and it is good for that but I would definitely suggest staying closer to the centre of Benidorm as it is a good 20 min walk from the beach food places and shops and too much in the 30s heat. As we ended our stay we were about to get on the coach and needed a bottle warming for our little boy and the hotel staff wouldn't do it, it just added to our bad experience of staying here and we definitely wouldn't return to this hotel. I don't normally write reviews but for someone spending a lot of money choosing the right hotel It's only fair they know what there getting before they book. The entertainment through the day for children was poor too no music round the pool only once in the afternoon. Collapse

Just returned from a family holiday here. The hotel itself is clean well kept pools spotless plenty of sun beds. There is a children's pool with slides in however on some occasions can get quite busy . There is a children's play area to. The facilities in the hotel are very good. The one thing that lets the hotel down is the food we ate our most evenings. Breakfast was okay and what you expect. We was half board and did eat lunch or evening meal on some occasions. Salads are nice fruit fresh. I would suggest the hotel has a section for children i.e. Pizza nuggets etc . I found the food was mainly the same each day. The deserts were nice though and we all found something there. The hotel room I couldn't fault lots of space big balcony Our balcony view was overlooking the mountains. The towels are changed on a daily basis. There is a fridge in the room with things you can purchase inside i.e. Water can Coke. You can hire a kettle for the room to with coffee tea sugar left each day we didn't know this till told towards the end of the holiday. If you are going on any trips you can purchase tickets for reception we went to mundmar with the family. If you are looking for a relaxing hotel out of the centre this is for you . There is an adult only pool to on the roof of the hotel. if you want entertainment there is bars and restaurants a 10 min walk away. We went into the red lion most evenings. You can also catch a bus which is regular for 1 Euro 50 each into Benidorm centre which is more busy. Collapse
