We stayed at this hotel for about a week when visiting California. It was a central location for us, considering we did activities in Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Monica, Burbank, etc.. It is easy to get to from the airport and we didn't get bothered by the noise of airplanes landing/taking off. Customer service was pretty good, the room was fairly clean, and housekeeping was efficient. The room does not include a mini fridge, but we were given one at no extra cost when requested. The hotel includes a few restaurants, I recommend the Century Taproom. The food was delicious! The pool was a decent size, but the pool area (outside) gets very little sun because of the other surrounding tall buildings. One of my complaints is about the shower. There is no vent/fan in the bathroom, so the mirror really fogs up. Also, the water pressure from the shower was so incredibly hard/fast. It almost hurt as the water hit your body and it pretty much got everything else in the bathroom (floor, counter, etc.) wet, as the water sprayed above and on the sides of the curtain. My other complaint would be about the parking. There is a parking garage across from the hotel, but it allows airport parking in addition to hotel guests. This means we usually had to park on level 5 or above. I believe we only found a spot on a lower level once. Also, the hotel charges you $15/day to leave/enter once or $23/day to leave/enter as many times as you want. Each time you enter the garage you have to get a ticket. Then, before returning to your car, you have to stop by the front desk to get them to validate your ticket so you can exit the garage. This was a bit of an inconvenience. Other than those two complaints, we were pretty satisfied with our stay! Collapse

If you are arriving at LAX after a long flight and want to get to bed quickly, or have a flight early in the morning, this is a good place to spend the night. It is on West Century Blvd, about a 10-minute drive from LAX. The hotel operates a free shuttle between the airport terminals and the hotel. Note that the first stop the shuttle makes is in some strange little alley. DON'T get off there. Wait for the hotel stop. Because this hotel is near one of the busiest airports in the world with flights arriving and departing at all hours of the day, everything runs 24/7, including the shuttle, the business center, room service, etc. The rooms are decent sized but some of them face the airport and are a bit noisy due to planes taking off and landing all day. Because there are MANY hotels on West Century Blvd, prices here are competitive. If you need a place to stay near LAX, this is a good choice. Collapse

I had a 3 day stay here and I tell ya, this hotel is hopping. the hotel is located right near the airport which is nice. the nice thing too is that there is not a lot of airport/air plane noise. There is tons of traffic in the evening, but that is to be expected. The check in process was great. Friendly staff. The person that assisted me, Karen, was a gem. She acknowledged me as an IHG member and thanked me for my loyalty. She went over and beyond to ensure that I had a wonderful stay. She provided me with information about the hotel and the surrounding area, place to visit, locations to eat etc. Thank you Karen. The restaurant had great options for your dining experience. The room was very comfortable and clean. I went down to the second floor to take a dip in the pool and hmmmm, was surprised that it was so small. But oh well, on a hot day it did the trick. Overall I had a very pleasant stay. Thanks IHG Collapse

This is hands down the worst front desk ever. We had two vouchers from our cancelled flight to stay here but only used one. The girl at the front desk was horrible, rude and in general negative. Asked for my ID and made a comment to verify "as hookers go there" we checked in with my husbands ID. There was absolutely no reason for her to make that comment or take my ID. We get to our room and the card doesn't work, we went back down and told her. She accused us of causing a problem when she didn't activate the card. To make this problem worse she charged us twice for the stay when we had a voucher. We had to contact this hotel so many times once we returned home to get the billing issue fixed. No one returns my call from the office or no one is ever there. I just don't understand the process or the the front desk staff. The hotel room was okay for the night furniture was dated but comfy. Only 1 towel in the bathroom. The bar area downstairs is nice and cozy. We wouldn't stay here ever again. Collapse
