I will say to start I stayed and had a nice visit just this visit things went wrong. There are good people working there. But will say the rule of not changes g small amount of cash or charge to room for taxi. Is not wrong. I flew in on the night of the 19th for job I here for you nay one night to catch a helicopter the next morning at 10 am. I have stayed at this location 3 times in past when here working or do my offshore certifications. I always stay at IHG properties. At checkin was very good the gentleman at the desk which I felt with before is very professional and good. He sat my taxi up for next morning I ask about storing a box of extra stuff I don't take off shore. Which he said during it in was not a problem. So at 8:30 am I went to check out brought my box which I packed taped shut taped my cards on it and wrote name on sides. The receptionist behind counter was Megan which I ask if could put in storage as she ask me how long it be there. I explained was going offshore working I wasn't sure few days to few weeks. She proceeded tell she would store it unless I tell her when I pick it up. Went back and forth with her for minutes and had told her already been told it was ok to store. And ask for the general manager. I am a platinum IHG menmber and never been treated this way anywhere in world. As ask for manager the man who was driving the hotel shuttle came over and said he put it in storage as I saw him put it in and lock it. Megan was very rude checked me out I had to ask for an envole for the bill no thank you or and thing. Turned her back walked off. The rig broke down on the 22nd so we were sent in till could repair. Got the only cab at the heliport and came to hotel which this cab would not take credit card ask him to wait came in ask for exchange 20 US dollars where could pay 7 pound bill. Was this of they do not ex hanged any money. Called Crown plaza was told they did walk over to crown plaza and they said they would not exchange money sense I was not staying at crown. Went back ask to get my box I had 200 pounds passport and extra clothes and stuff. As Carsandra opened the door we had to look for it was in shelf back with stuff piled on and in front. Also as she pulled it down ii could see it had been opened one end and I told her about as she agreed flap had been pulled open. From tape I inspected it had gone thru my passport wallet was move from bottom thrown on top and open which 200 pound was gone. I ask for general manager. Was told not here no one be here till Monday. Carsandra gave me the 7 pound to pay taxi. I took pictures and waiting to talk to GM NOT HAPPY Collapse

Where do I start.. I have spent the best part of the last 6 weeks in hotels. This is so lacking in customer care and attention it's embarrassing. I arrived to be greeted by a rather abrupt woman who just barked one word "name"! I was that astonished by her greeting I actually said excuse me ! To which she again barked name! As if I hadn't heard her. I proceeded up to a really smart and clean room (compliments to housecleaning) before venturing again downstairs for something to eat. I was handed a really basic menu but I was hungry so I ordered the chilli after a 20 min wait I was served a like warm plate of food which was just unacceptable. I then asked for cutlery to be told it was at the other end of the room! The very other end in which she had walked from. Rude staff! When I complained my meal was taken away with no apology to be replaced about 15 mins later in a barely different condition from earlier. The male who brought my meal across had absolutely no sense of urgency or customer care, in fact if he had walked any slower he'd been going backwards. I work in senior management of a large provider of catering & hotel services employing in excess of 1200 staff. I am just astonished to be honest with the lack of professionalism I witnessed in fact chefs serving luke warm food below the core temp of 75 degrees especially high risk food such as rice would be sacked. Whether you take these comments seriously or not remains to be seen. Perhaps a visit to the Courtyard Marriot would do no harm as you could learn a thing or two about customer care. I won't be staying here again! Collapse

Located close to the airport and a 3 minute walk only beneath a covered walkway, except for a few yards, this hotel is ideally placed. The hotel is light and airey, with all facilities you would expect, check was pleasant with a very good and knowledgeable receptionist. Food at the bar was limited and described by a previous commenters, but whilst he went to another hotel we stayed. The food was superb both in quality and quantity I do not fail to completely eat many meals, but this one beat me. Breakfast as we have seen with other comments is the standard fare, with hot sausage, beans, and scrambled eggs, along with a full cereal and continental breakfast menu. This however was the only downside of the stay, two of us in for breakfast 30 sausages drying out, a full pan of beans slowly cooking more that needed only relying on the condensation of the glass doom to keep them moist and as for the scrambled egg, having to be stirred every five minutes because they were also drying out. Great toaster never seen one work better Ideal hotel if you are needing somewhere to stay waiting for a flight out of Aberdeen Collapse
