Nice and helpful staff, breakfast also very good. Rooms very spacious with a nice view over the garden - looks beautiful even during the winter. Close to the airport. We will come back for sure in the future!

Worst service ever. I asked for more coffee sachets for the room at reception. Was sent to a closed restaurant, lights out, the works. Told receptionist who shrugged her shoulders. The day before they charged me £4 for an extra coffee just after breakfast after telling me they were closed and dishing out dirty looks. No one in the bar. Made to feel extremely unwelcome. Nice hotel, zero guests ( we saw 4 ) but staff just not interested at all. Room ok. Miles from the centre and overcharged daily until I'd had enough and we took trams. Deeply unpleasant - do not book this place. Everything is too much trouble. !!!!! Collapse

When arriving at the hotel it looks fairly OK, when entering the lobby tho you can see this hotel has not been updated for quitte a while. Staff was friendly, check in was quick. Room is like the rest of the hotel, ok but a tat out of date. Breakfast was OK the room it was served in was not that nice, way too big. Just does not give you a good feeling. Location is not too great either, you need a taxi which is very hard to get (use UberPop, they will come and collect you fairly quick). All and all I would not stay here again. Collapse

Personal opinion that does not reflect that of any related clients/organizations: Super unprofessional and incompetent staff, especially certain receptionists and managers. Most staff were unfriendly and almost all of them looked super angry. The hotel as a whole is a disgrace to the service industry as they clearly do not know what service means. VERY UNCOOPERATIVE on all levels (contracts, room reservations, payments, breakfast/food "service", conference room setup, etc.). May ask you do to their jobs for them (reserve and assign rooms for your own attendees and collect payment from them for the hotel) for a conference group. Staff does not regularly answer phone calls or call back as they say they will. Phone number was even "out of service" for a bit. Be prepared to wait weeks to hear back regarding any questions/inquiries/reservations. Staff was very rude to clients (even yelling and talking back) and unhelpful with problems (e.g. key cards not working, running out of food during breakfast, etc.). Hotel operates (especially reservation "system") like it's still the 19th century. Normal parking fee is highway robbery. 17zł per person (including tax) for a prepared coffee/tea break is a joke. Will charge your group to serve hot water because it's so much work for their employees (5* service! Not...). Outside water/food not allowed during a conference. After spending weeks/months "negotiating" a contract with them, the staff was still confused about the terms and almost didn't let us use a room that was part of the contract. Staff has internal communication problems (terms that were agreed to with director were not communicated to managers, and then the director reneged on the original agreement). The only thing they care about is the bottom line and getting as much money from you as possible--will charge for every tiny little thing they can think of (they almost tried to charge a "parking fee" for rented coach buses to pick people up from the hotel entrance). "Spa & massage" services located in basement look sketchy as all get out. Hotel is super dark everywhere (trying to be "eco-friendly" or most likely just super cheap). Each floor smells super perfumey as if they're trying to cover up some decade-old stench and decay. Hotel does not provide any maps/informational brochures of the area/Krakow. Hotel was dead empty (and no wonder/surprise), don't know how they're still in business (the fact that this hotel was one of the only hotels still available during peak conference season in Krakow should've been a red flag). Negative reviews that were made by other clients were censored and had to be edited because hotel personnel called and complained (though if they really cared what people thought, maybe they should just do their jobs?). I travel a lot for work and leisure and I rarely do any reviews because i choose the hotels i stay in and never had issues to complain. But the way I was treated in this supposed to be 5 star hotel, I can't just let it pass by. Checked in with my wife and 2 year old daughter around 3.30pm and as soon as we opened the room, it was very stuffy and VERY HOT. The porter kindly switched on the AC for us and told us to wait for it until it cools the room. We left to the city center at around 6.00pm and on our way out I reported the AC to the receptionist as by that time the room was still hot. She confirmed that the technician will have a look. We came back at around 9.15pm and we found the AC on with a room card inserted to leave power to the room. The room was still VERT HOT. The unit was just cooling the area below it but that did not reach even the edge of the bed. The outside temperature was also high. I went back to the receptionist reporting again the AC. After a number of phone calls in Polish so I could not understand a thing, she said that she can't help! I asked her if we can change the room and she offered me two rooms - after discussing again with the porter for more than 5 minutes. From their body language I could easily see that they were unwilling to solve the problem. All the rooms were the same... every time they switched the unit on they turned to me saying - it works! Yes true just below the ac unit at the entrance not in the room! Their solution was to open the window with no breeze at all and mosquitoes. At that stage we agreed with the receptionist that we are going to leave the hotel, little that we know that more problems were on the way. Went down for the check-out and she wanted to charge us for 1 night! She was quoting the T&C of Booking.com. She did not want to understand that the hotel itself did not adhere to the booking conditions - a room with AC since this is what we booked! Later it turned out that they did not want to cancel the booking, because they would still need to pay the commission to Booking.com, which is much less than the amount we paid for staying for 2 hours in a hot room. I demanded an official letter explaining the reason why we are leaving so I could present it to VISA for a chargeback but it was refused. Ultimately we were forced to stay that night. Luckily I asked for 2 fans and were provided so we could sleep with some ventilation in the room being that we were 3 persons sleeping on a double bed. It the meantime, it was almost midnight. Being in 2017 in a 5 star hotel, surely it was not the alternative way to spend that night during our family holiday. The next day, it resulted that the technician was the receptionist herself. She confirmed that our case was sent to the management. Nearly 2 weeks passed and I am still waiting for an apology, as promised. We obviously checked out and booked another hotel in Krakow which was very pleasant and had an excellent customer service and a working air condition! This is not the way to treat customers irrespective if it is a 1 or 5 star hotel or in any business anyway. They made it look like that we are at fault and had no right at all. At the end of the day I booked a room with AC which they were not able to provide. . Is this the way a 5 star hotel solve a problem which is their fault? Besides, there are other previous reviews of guests saying that the air-condition wasn't working, so the problem has been there for a long time without solving it. The airconditions are very old and noisy, as the rest of the hotel as it needs a good refurbishment to be of a 5 star standard. Stay away from this hotel.. go for other cheaper and lower star hotels nearby which are much better. You have been warned. .. I was fooled by the staff and literally threw away time and money without getting a decent service. You will never get it right with them and they just take your money because they say that is the procedure! Dear hotel, the way you did not solve my problem (and of other travelers) was the first time i experienced in decades of travelling... Just when you are faced with a problem which is your fault do not just look for your monetary interests but try to understand your customers first and treat them with dignity without showing that you do not care.
