Our second stay at this hotel and we were not disappointed. It was early in the season so hotel and area not very busy. We were given a room in 9th floor that gave us a partial view of American Falls since trees were not yet in leaf. Room very clean with comfortable beds and nice linens. Breakfast is good value for money. We paid more at Denny's and not nearly as good. Staff throughout hotel were very pleasant and courteous. Location perfect for walking to sights and restaurants nearby. Recommend Antica pizzeria about 3 blocks away. Authentic Italian food, comfortable seating and reasonable prices. We have previously eaten at the Keg in the hotel and it is excellent too and the discount ticket offered by hotel really helps with the cost. And yes we dislike the tourist tax on everything in Niagara too, but that's just the way it is! Collapse

We have started taking a couple of trips a year down to Niagara to do a bit of cross border shopping and spend bit of time in the U.S. casinos. This was our fifth time staying at the Courtyard since it opened maybe 13 years ago. I had originally booked a whirlpool tub room with no package. But I saw on the Courtyard website that they had a link to a Travelzoo package that was hands down probably the best deal I have got at a hotel. I called the hotel and they were happy to convert my original booking over to the Travelzoo deal. So instead of just a room here is what we got: $120 in vouchers for the Keg (3 x $40) 3 x vouchers for breakfast at the Keg (awesome as always, especially the omelette bar) 3 bottles of wine and 6 glasses (it was 1 bottle per day booked) 6 vouchers for Oast beer at the Keg bar Coupons for various wine/cheese/fudge tastings in the local area. All told I think we saved nearly $250 on my original booking when you factored in the coupons. So a fantastic deal. On arrival we were checked in right away by the front desk staff. We then stared in awe as they proceeded to give us all the above "freebies". A bit of laughing ensued when we saw everything but it was a great deal. We were given a room on the 3rd floor. Whirlpool tub room with king size bed. It was 3pm and the room cleaning staff were still out in the hallway as apparently they were extremely busy that weekend (being Easter etc). I asked them for a couple of extra pillows and they were at my door within a minute. Both really friendly ladies who I bumped into on our 3 night stay in various spots around the hotel and they always said hello and asked how our stay was going. Room was always clean and tidy though maybe the hotel is in need of a bit of tlc when it comes to wallpapering and tiling. Its certainly not falling down around your ears but is showing a bit of wear and tear though I imagine that its very hard to schedule maintenance when you are in such a popular destination. Still, the room was clean, tidy and suitable for our needs. Breakfast in the Keg was always good with ample supplies of food on the go at all times. The chef at the Omelette station seems to have been there for years and certainly knows his stuff.. I think at one point he had 8 on the go. It was impressive to watch! We spent most evenings at the bar in the Keg and as always the staff were friendly and helpful. Some great $5 deals on each day with different cocktails plus we had the free beer tastings available to us as well. Already checking out the website to book for Thanksgiving 2017. Always a pleasant stay and the prices, when factoring in the deals, are fantastic. Collapse

This was our second stay at the Courtyard Marriot Niagara Falls although it had been years since we last stayed. We go to Niagara Falls often but this visit was for my birthday so we decided to splurge a little on a hotel. It is worth every penny!... even though it is pretty reasonable. The lobby is gorgeous with lots of seating and gathering areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful at checkin when my credit card wouldn't work. The hotel rooms are very nice, updated and modern! We were pleasantly surprised when we received a jacuzzi and fireplace room upgrade. The couch was very comfy and the furniture is very nice. The bed was super comfy and the jacuzzi was new and clean! The only hiccup we experienced was that one of their two elevators were out of service the duration of our stay but the front desk staff were quick to let us use the service elevator when it got busy; so that was very a minor issue. Overall it is a very nice hotel that you can tell is well taken care of and has very friendly and helpful staff! Collapse

We stayed for the weekend for a business meeting and it was a disaster. There's was noises everywhere and I am not a happy camper when I cannot sleep. The Hockey team Took over the pool, hot tub and sauna. We left the pool area disgusted. Their Parents did nothing to stop their Horsing around and yelling. Another Family came and went as well. I felt bad for the little girl who still wanted to stay in the pool. I saw a couple who went in the sauna and quickly left because of the Hockey Team. I like my Jacuzzi room I will prolly stay there again but I will avoid going there during Hockey Season or just request a top floor. Collapse
