We came to see Niagara Falls n do a Friday casino night- was not disappointed! The hotel had a “tourist package” with coupons for food, sites, and tours that was a great value. The food vouchers at The Keg were in the lobby were a huge value- food was great and u can’t beat staying in this time of year. Casino was hoping- we won a little $ and were tickled. We upgraded to a 10th(top floor) suite for very little as we had 3 of us in a room. It was very accommodating with a living area(pullout sleeper sofa) n TV and ample size bedroom w 2 queen beds. Good views. Rooms were a remodeled and clean. Sep. vanity area outside of tub n toilet area made it easy to share. Not luxurious my any account but great for our needs and fabulous with their ‘package deal’. Convenient location to all Clifton Hill and Falls. Can’t beat the value! Collapse

Spent the better part of a week on a travel zoo package. Were greeted warmly by the front desk staff. Every time we go there, they seem to have different people behind the counter. We find the staff, from the maintenance staff, the housekeeping staff, the breakfast staff and the front desk staff very friendly. It is a nice feeling when these people recognize us and take the time for small talk and then carry on with their appointed duties. Tanya, Babs and Kelly at the front ( I forget the names of the other front desk people) were wonderful and accommodating, as usual, to make our stay the best. (Unlike other Marriott branded establishments). Bernie, Brenda and Lenny (?) on the maintenance staff kept the pool and the hot tub (and other areas) up and running for the enjoyment of the clients. Crystal and her housekeeping staff kept the room in tip top condition and if we needed anything, it did not take them long to provide the requested item/service. The different animals (from towels) that were left in our room after they had finished were a nice touch. Pool was warm and the hot tub was comfortable. When we went for breakfast, the staff (Rick and crew) remembered our requests from the last time we were there and brought them without asking. We didn't keep the bill which would have allowed me to name the wonderful team members. Unfortunately, the omelette station was shut down, I would assume because of the complaints of people who had to wait to get their omelette. Gary was very good at that and at times had up to 8 pans going at once along with poached eggs. I hope that they could bring it back and those that are not happy about waiting, maybe you need to go earlier. We had no problem getting omelettes done on previous visits, but then we were there at 8 before the rush started at about 8:45. One day, at breakfast, we were stopped by a maintenance and housekeeping staff member, as were were leaving and we had a wonderful conversation with the two ladies. This is the kind of hotel we will return to, as we and the staff treat each other like family. Pool is open at 6 am to 11 pm, which allowed for exercise time in the morning, afternoon and evening. During the week there is not much competition for space in the hot tub or pool, but Friday and Saturday nights are a different story. Towels were always available, no matter what time we were there. While we were there during the week, it was quiet, enjoyable and inviting. Unfortunately, the weekends are not as quiet as sport teams and families roll in, starting Friday night, but that is the nature of the beast. A contributing factor to the quietness could have been the construction on Victoria Street, but it was soon ending after our departure. Collapse

This was a great hotel, with a nice location near the Falls. All the employees we encountered were very friendly, and our room was nice with a great view. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience at breakfast. And the most disappointing part is that I both let a manager of the hotel know, and also filled out a comment card, and no one ever followed up with us, even though the manager assured us that someone would. We decided to eat at the hotel restaurant for breakfast when we saw a sign on the desk in our room that said it had an omelet station. My husband loves omelets. We also invited a couple of friends who live nearby to join us for breakfast. It was terrible. There was no omlette station, only tasteless scrambled eggs on the buffet. We had to go back to the buffet at least 3 times each because they keep running out of everything. The whole breakfast area was filthy. It was a disappointing experience that ruined our stay. And like I said before, I let a hotel manager know, and she told me that she would have the restaurant manager contact me to follow up, which never happen. Collapse

We stayed here for two nights as part of a tour. The room was clean and comfortable but I was disappointed with the view, which overlooked the car park. Niagara is not a large town so we weren't far from any of the attractions. They were all within walking distance or easily reached by using the HOHO buses. Chuck's Steakhouse is just across the road and we ate there twice. There was a great selection of steaks which were good quality, well cooked and extremely good value. The drinks were cheap too. The hotel is nothing special, just a good value place to stay while exploring Niagara. The staff however were exceptional, especially the ladies who worked on the desk near the main entrance. They went out of their way to sort out a problem we were having with our airport transfer company. Thank you both. Collapse
