Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet (inner courtyard), we had the family room with communicating bedrooms. Location is good for shopping (shopping mall La Vache Noire), it is a bit more difficult to connect to the Paris network. Parking in front of the hotel not available, not even just to unload (2 places were "permanently" parked). We were given a room for "disabled" guests, with a bathroom missing comfort (ie no space to put toiletries or hang towels, curtains flat shower, etc). Breakfast was fair, varied, and we recommended you don't go too late for breakfast (we went just after a large group ... you can imagine !). Staff helpful, but check your invoice if you have free wi-fi included it may be charged by mistake. Collapse

Came with tour and stay for 2 nights and these are my thoughts : The Good (1) shopping mall opposite hotel and some restaurants nearby (10mins walk) have a great Japanese restaurant about 10 mins walk! Worth the price too! (2) check in was prompt (3) rooms are modern and nice The Bad (1) No proper drop off point, may be alittle dangerous when loading and off-loading on the main road (2) traffic noise can be heard for rooms facing the mall and no views for most rooms (3) hotel lobby is too small and cramp, lifts are small too, hard to manage for big groups check in (4) breakfast is the worst ever, limited choice and everything is oily and not well prepared Will probably try other hotels of same value when I return the next time. I stayed at this property for 5 nights on an award reservation while touring Paris with my family. We could not have been more pleased with out experience here. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. As Americans with no learned French speakers amongst our group we greatly appreciated their helpfulness with both matters at the hotel and helping us with our touring and logistics. Marine at the front desk was particularly excellent. I travel frequently for work and pleasure and I find that hotels are usually crisp and efficient or warm and friendly. This property manages to be both due to its staff. We had to adjacent rooms, one with a double or queen and one with 2 twin bed. We were in a corner so I think the rooms were larger than normal. The space was excellent. He rooms were well appointed with clean modern furniture and had large tv's with 4-5 English language channels and a small fridge. While the rooms were adjacent they were not adjoining as there was no door between them. One note, the electrical outlets in the room were very deep so our adapter would not fit in to allow us to charge our phones. The front desk was able to loan us an adapter, so either buy a compact adapter to fit or bum one from the property. We found the room and the hotel in general very clean. The decor was in good shape, not worn down or in need of replacement/repair. The rooms were quiet and from our second floor room we never noticed any road noise or noise from the rooms above or below. We ate in the restaurant everyday for breakfast and the food was quite good. The breakfast buffet was a bit pricy, but filling with eggs, breakfast meats, and a grain, as well breads, cereal, fruit, cold cuts and yummy pastries. Food quality was several notches above what you would get in a standard courtyard in the US. The location was good as well. There is a large mall right across the street with several fast food and fast casual restaurants, a patisserie, Boulangerie and a large grocery store. It is a 5-7 minute walk to the RER station at LaPlace. From there it is a 10-15 minute ride to the heart of Paris. The RER will take you right to Norte Dame or the Eiffel Tower. Versailles was a 45 minute ride away. We felt safe walking to and from the station, even in the evening. I paid in Marriott reward points for the reservation and got 2 rooms for less than the cost of one cramped room at a more centrally located Renaissance or full service Marriott property. While the transport cost us little time, the warmth and helpfulness of the staff more than made up for it. I would heartily reccomend this hotel to any family looking for a base from which to explore Paris. Collapse

I often have to stay at the Courtyard Paris Arcueil Hotel when working in Gentilly. It is a straightforward hotel with a reasonable restaurant. The rooms are good, clean and the WiFi is OK. The nearest metro (RER) station is just over five minutes walk and getting to Orly or CdG airports is easy. The RER to the centre of Paris is quick and easy if you want to spend the evening in the middle of the city. Collapse

The room is small but clean with decent views. Hotel is conveniently located near shoppings and public transportation (10 mins walk). It is not near the best part of Paris but accessible via a short train ride. Last train is 1:00AM or after midnight so plan accordingly if you have to stay late at the city center. I notice that the hotel staff at the door (not sure if he is a doorman) doesn't even attempt to help guests with luggages on steps. See a few people were pissed off because they are a family of 4 (2 parents and 2 very small children) have to pay extra or do something to rearrange as the hotel policy doesn't allow that. I understand big kids and teenagers maybe an issue but it is ridiculous to split a family of husband and wife with toddlers. Collapse
