We stayed at the property because it is relatively near Disneyland. The other Courtyard property (Theme Park) will be a better choice if you plan to conveniently walk to Disneyland. However, the Theme park hotel is more expensive. We had our doubts when reading this hotel's reviews, but since most of the reviewers agree that the hotel is clean, we decided to stay here. Pros 1. Clean property 2. Carpets seem updated 3. Comfortable beds (typical Courtyards) Cons 1. No warm welcome from front desk personnel 2. Booked rooms were not correctly assigned 3. No recognition on elite members 4. $15 parking. This could be pros if you think that walking around 1 mile to Disneyland is not far. You may walk around the same distance even if you park in Disneyland. 5. No complimentary shuttle service from/ to Disneyland Front desk service seem to be a constant issue that will be talked about in TA reviews until management team decide to address the issue. Collapse

My family and I arrived very late a week ago due to an airline delay. The staff were very accommodating and friendly from the minute we stepped out of the taxi. Offering late dinners, meeting all requests and answering all questions, just saying hello to every guest they encountered...exceptional customer focus! Thank you to all Staff and Management who made our stay truly relaxing and enjoyable!!! Collapse

Loved staying at this hotel. It was extremely clean and the maids cleaned up every day and accommodated our requests promptly. Front desk was extremely helpful as well. There is no continental breakfast. However there is a coffee station and bar that also serves some food. These were extremely pricey, especially the drinks. I know it's tourist area, but it was ridiculous. Collapse

We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott while attending a conference at the Anaheim Convention Center. It's address is 2045 South Harbor Blvd, but it is not on the main street. To get to the hotel, you walk down a driveway beside Ruth Chris' Steak House, and the hotel is basically behind it. The good news is that being off the main street you don't get the noise and traffic as you do with the other hotels. The bad news is that the driveway leading to the hotel, and Harbor Blvd in general is not very well lit. The room was clean, the lobby well appointed, and the bistro/bar convenient. Food everywhere was expensive, so we were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast we ate there. We had the daybreak -- eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast for $ 11.20. This was actually cheaper than the breakfasts we had eaten elsewhere, there was no wait, and the food was good. They also serve Starbucks coffee -- a big plus. The outside area was nice with seating and a fire pit, however, we never really got to use it. They are about a 10-15 minute walk to the convention center. It is about a 20-25 minute walk to the Disney entrance. (Go past the drop off lot and walk down near where the buses line up to discharge and take on passengers.) In addition, there is a CVS and Walgreen's drugstore a few blocks away (and on the way to Disneyland) on Katella Ave.where we bought 12 bottles of water for $ 2.99. Much better than the $3.50 each in the park. There is also a California Pizza Kitchen, Cheesecake Factory, Bubba Gump Shrimp, and PF Chang's on Katella. They are all within walking distance of the hotel. Nearby on Harbor Blvd there are also many different restaurants to choose from. USA Today papers awaited us each morning, and the staff was polite and friendly. After talking to some others at the convention who were unhappy with their waits for the elevators and worn rooms, I was glad we picked this location. Collapse

Positives: The staff was generally friendly. The common areas of the hotel are clean. The hotel is walking distance from the Disneyland and there are lots of restaurants also within walking distance. I only had breakfast on site but it was delicious. I traveled during a fairly busy season and my room was right off of the elevator but my room was quite. This is a family friendly hotel and the rooms are insulated well enough that the noise from people getting on and off of the elevator did not disturb me. Guests are allowed to control the temperature in the room. Negatives: Linens are of very poor quality. The sheets and towels were abrasive and not very comfortable to use. The rooms are not thoroughly cleaned between guests. There was a gross sticky substance on the headboard when we arrived, there were notes scattered in the room, likely left by the children of the previous guests. The tub had rust stains and the water took a very long time to warm up. Our room was not cleaned in the mornings, we were okay with that but we needed new towels. I requested towels but we never received clean towels. We ended up having to dry off with hand towels. There is no room service at this hotel. On the last day of our stay we ate breakfast at the hotel bistro. We were the only ones in the dining area at the time. I received my breakfast before my boyfriend. We asked for his plate twice in one hour, then we finally figured out that they gave his order to another gentleman. The staff did not apologize for the inconvenience of having to wait an hour for just french toast. This hotel did not live up to the Marriott standard. In summation the quality of the guest rooms are not propionate to the price of the rooms. The lobby is the nicest part of the hotel, but no one is spending the majority of their stay in the hotel lobby. I would much more prefer a clean room with linens that don't feel like I'm sleeping on paper. I will not be staying at this hotel again. There are cheaper and nicer options within the same vicinity.
