Stayed at Costa sal for one week in October, from arriving in reception to day of departing we had no complaints whatsoever. We stayed in a superior 2 bedroom apartment, the apartment was on the top floor so we had good views, sea, aeroplanes coming in. The balcony was well equipped with table, chairs, sun lounger, airer. Kitchen was well equipped with all utensils, fridge, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster. Bedrooms were spacious, bathroom had a walk in shower and finally living room also very spacious. The staff were all very friendly, reception very helpful. We can't comment on the restaurants or food as we ate out of the complex but will try next year when we're over again. Plenty of sunbeds empty but this was october so not sure what it would be like in summer holidays. As i have mentioned before we cannot fault the hotel and look forward to coming back next October which we have already booked. Thank you staff and management for a really pleasant and enjoyable stay Collapse

Lovely clean big apartments, nice big swimming pool and others dotted around for the other suites to stay at. Kitchen has decent fridge freezer, microwave, cooker hob and oven with a kettle. This is a lovely complex with super helpful staff on reception. It's a huge complex and we were given room 302 in the corner uo beside the main pool. We had views of tbe pool and then at the front views towards the airport. We were uograded to a spacious 2 bed apt which was perfect. No rush for beds during our stay but i giess it height of summer it wouldnt be as easy. There is a lot of steps in this complex if staying at thr bottom. We used of the gates at the side of the complex fpr an easy 5/10 min walk to Matagorda and the sea front. The pools, which are both supposed to be heated, aren't but that wasnt an issue given that we experiemced a heat during our stay. There is an onsite shop whichbwe found extremely convenient. There was no air conditioning in the bedrooms but we asked for a fan at reception and one was delivered quickly. Now for the food. We ate at the curry night and carvery night but werent impressed. We did however try the burgers at the pool abd these were delicious. All in all a lovely clean complex. On the last day we had to check out of our room on time but were very kindly given a studio room for the rest of thrbday. It was tiny and we were glad we hadnt booked this originally. Pics attached. We have just got home from a week away at Costa sal. Me my hubby & 2 yr old daughter. I booked it due to the good reviews but deep down thought No, it can't be that good. Well, IT IS! I definitely made the right choice. I will now list the good points & bad points. 1) Reception staff were lovely & check in & check out was fantastic. Big thanks to Rosie & Patricia who were lovely with my little 2 yr old. 2) cleaners were friendly & our apartment was spotless as was the whole complex. Shampoo & shower gel & washing up liquid & cloths were left for us & a bottle of water. I thought this was a nice touch! We had room 104 near reception overlooking the pool with a fantastic view of pool, sea & the planes coming in & out. Beautiful well kept gardens & pool was cleaned every morning. Even the life guards went above & beyond they emptied bins & helped people with luggage etc. 3) we were bed & breakfast & it was gorgeous as was the food, we had lunch a few times my hubby fell in love with the homemade spicy burger! 4) pool was lovely there was a little kids pool which my 2yr old was never out of! Plenty of sunbeds too. You can hire towels at reception which I will do next time. 5) 5-10 min stroll down to the beach & shopping centre at matagorda. We walked to Puerto del Carmen a few times with the buggy then got taxi back for around 5euros. We also got the bus to playa Blanca it was 5euro for both of us each way & took 50mins. Bus stop is outside hotel on opposite side of road. 6) I need to say a big thanks to fee who looked after us at breakfast. But i need to say a big massive thanks to roberta (berta) & Anna Maria who both fell in love with our daughter & she took a big shine to them too. They were fantastic with her & so chatty & friendly. We will defo book here again. 7) on site shop had everything you could need & the spar shop at the beach prob had a bit more choice. Now for the bad points. 1) there wasn't any! We miss you Costa sal thanks for a lovely holiday x Collapse
