Dinner at Nicholinis was good but the wine was at least double what you would expect the mark up to be! Try the evening buffet in the Garden Restaurant. Pricy but amazing - unlimited crayfish, prawns, BBQ meats, Japanese and Chinese options, beautiful curries, pizzas, gorgeous desserts and fruit. Collapse

Stayed in an executive room for just under a week. This hotel is located in the Admiralty area of Hong Kong Island. Super easy access from Admiralty MTR via 3rd floor Pacific Place mall entry next to Celine shop. Very comfortable bedding, with ability to request soft or firm pillows; plenty of nice lighting; my executive room bathroom contained both a shower stall and soaking bathtub. Executive lounge access provides for free breakfast (which you can take in the 59th floor Executive Lounge or downstairs in the Garden Cafe - choose the Garden Cafe), free afternoon tea (good tea sandwiches), and free evening canapes (so-so canapes, but free wine). The Garden Cafe's breakfast buffet is excellent - fresh fruit, salad, deli meats, breads, yogurts, carving board ham, hot items, HK dim sum, eggs cooked to order, hot noodle soup cooked to order (you select your own ingredients), juices/coffee/tea. For most of the month of November2017, the Garden Cafe is also offering a special 'Taste of Okinawa' celebration during its dinner buffet. Key features include very-tender Agu pork, whole kanpachi (amberjack) prepared fresh in front of you by a master chef in a culinary demo, salty roast beef baked in clay (also removed and carved in front of you by a master chef in separate culinary demo), and special Okinawa tempura. This is on top of their standard offerings of fresh seafood, hot items, salads, soups, and grilled meats. Save room (can you?) for dessert - as they have an entire separate shop of sweets, cakes, ice cream. Hefty price, but you definitely get what you pay for to your stomach's full content. Besides the Garden Cafe, there are also continental cuisine, Italian, and Chinese restaurants on property. The hotel offers a 24/7 fitness center - with plenty of treadmills, ellipticals, and bike machines, free weights, and cable machine. There is also an outdoor heated swimming pool. Collapse

3 Night Stay in Nov 2017 - for business. Terrific location in HK - easy walks to many sites and easy access to public transportation (or taxis or uber). Quite a large hotel but never felt busy, rushed or loud. Entire experience was tasteful - understated luxury. Large rooms and bathrooms - well appointed and maintained. Staff is incredibly helpful and thoughtful - e.g., one afternoon I was in the executive lounge having tea and one of the staff members noticed me straining to look out the window at the gorgeous view and suggested I move tables to one with a better view that had just opened up! Gym is reasonably well equipped for a hotel gym and well used in the mornings. Sauna and steam room were a fine size and I never saw them in use when I was there (Ladies facilities). The lounge is terrific for breakfast - a very civilized way to start the day with many, many options to choose from -- especially once you get the hang of poking around a bit to find the yogurt or the muesli or carrot juice! The only possible improvement I can suggest is the hair dryer situation -- the nearest plug in my room was by the coffee/tea station and required me to both squat to see myself in the mirror and hold a strong grip on the hairdryer (no on/off switch - you had to hold a button in to keep it on). A minor inconvenience. Highly recommend and looking forward to my next stay at the Conrad. Collapse
