We stayed here two nights. We were on the fourth floor facing the falls side (but couldn't actually see the falls.) First some positives: The location is pretty good. It is just a few blocks from the incline railroad. Our room was fairly clean, although small and outdated. The negatives: Breakfast. The breakfast room is smaller than my living room and services 7 floors mostly between the hours of 8-9. We managed to get a table without waiting the first morning, but there was a long line when we left. It was a disappointing selection of foods. I would not have wanted to wait for it. There is also a sign telling people that they cannot take food out of the breakfast room. I would think people eating out of the room would alleviate some problems. We didn't even bother going to breakfast the next morning and ate somewhere on our way home. The elevator was broken more often than it wasn't. Luckily it was working when we checked out with our luggage. The free WiFi worked sporadically. Parking was costly and finding a spot was an issue at night. The parking attendant just sort of made up some spots for people. Overall it wasn't a vacation ruining experience. It was a place to sleep. If we ever come back to Niagara Falls again, we wouldn't stay here. Collapse

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. I've been to Niagara Falls on the Canadian side at least 10 times and this is worst experience I've had at one of the hotels there. The room was small and cramped and the bed was murder on our backs. The elevator broke down 3 times while we were there. An employee told us that the first time it broke it was not fixed properly, which is why it kept failing. We were on the 6th floor and the elevator was unusable during checkout. The staff seemed indifferent until I specifically told them that I would not be checking out until it was fixed or we received assistance bringing our belongings down. The building is also not very secure, as there is a door on the side of the building near the elevator that remains unlocked at all times. The wifi does not work once people come back to their rooms. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere as there are many awesome hotels in this area. Collapse
Gone downhill? Or bad luck?

My wife and I had stayed here previously in 2009 and thought it was a good place for the price. This time around, we felt the opposite. We stayed in one room on the lower floor and another couple in my family stayed in another room on the same level. The check in was fast, easy and friendly. The pool is also on the lower level, and it seems to make things a little damp. The room was not cleaned well when we checked in. It looked like someone had dropped some kind of food and stepped on it and no one had cleaned it up. The bathroom was also semi-dirty. The air conditioners were the small room units and they worked well but I think with the dampness they caused 2 of the 4 of us to be congested/sick. Also, the wifi was very slow, atypically slow for the falls. The rooms were near the breakfast room. They offer complimentary breakfast from 6-9, and the room is very small. Because the breakfast ends so early in the morning, a lot of people seem to show up between 8-9, and the room is not big enough for them so they line up into the hallway. The rooms are not soundproofed well enough and the lineup woke us all up. The price is too close in relation to the better hotels nearby, I wouldn't stay here again unless the price dropped about 20%, and the parking rate dropped as well. $18/night is heavy, and normally we'd park for free at the casino but we weren't able to this time around. I'm not sure if the hotel has deteriorated significantly in the last 8 years or if we just had a good room last time/bad room this time, but the experience is the same- I will not return to the comfort inn unless it is improved or the prices are reduced. Wasn't told when we booked the room for thee nights that there were actually two buildings. We were put in the second building which has two floors and NO elevator. The room was just ok. The carpet could use a good cleaning. We stayed there because they had free breakfast. The breakfast room is very, very small and hot. The fist day we went down to breakfast and was told there was over a half hour wait time. We went across the street to another restaurant. The second day, the same thing but this time we were given a voucher fir the restaurant, The third day we fiakkky made it to the breakfast room. very disappointed in this hotel. Collapse

As I've mentioned in the past, my husband and I visit Niagara every few months and usually stay at Four Points Sheridan but it's not always available moving us to look for another hotel close to the Casino. We found a great deal for the Comfort Inn at Fallsview so we decided to give it a try. The staff was fine, could have been a little friendlier on check in but did end up upgrading us as we were celebrating an occasion. Our room was at the end of the hall, quiet location and clean. We found the bed to be very comfortable as well. Overall, the rooms are very comparable to Four Points and the Casino is approximately a 5 minute walk just down the street. They do charge for parking at the hotel, but if you are in Niagara Falls during the week, the Casino charges $5.00 for parking. If you have a "Players Card" for the Casino, you can park at the Casino for free. The only issue we had at this hotel was very poor WiFi. Collapse
