Old but very spacious room, very good location, safety, near the mean entrance to Disney, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies and Wallgrens and CVS but I booked a room with breakfast (continental breakfast) it was horrible only bread (one type) butter, coffee, milk and cereal if you wanted something else would have to pay an additional $ 8.99 per day per person for this reason not recommend and will not return to staying in this hotel, because it has other hotels in the same category, in the same location for the same price that offer a much better breakfast Collapse

Nice average hotel in all honesty the food isn't great that they have to offer but not the worst I've had the room itself did the job but we had a dripping tap in the bath and the sink leaked underneath. We stayed for 3 weeks but the bedding was not changed once just had the beds made. The worst part of our stay was the ticket sales we didn't plan on getting more tickets but we thought let's go see world and Bush gardens as I love animals. So this is where it gets interesting the guy who sold us the tickets said for $190 each we get discovery Cove on the Saturday and thrown in will be seaworld, bushgardens and aquatica on a 14 day ticket so we go all the way to tampa (btw you have to book you spot on the bus from seaworld to bushgardens we were not informed of this untill we asked a different member of staff just to be safe lucky we did) so we get to bush gardens using our tickets we purchased from the hotel to find out they are useless for bush gardens so when we spoke to someone they apologised that we were misinformed and gave us a small discount but it was still $170. This put a sour taste in my mouth for the hotel aswell for the most part the staff looked very miserable and like they didn't want be there and provided little in the way of customer service aswell as being very slow. The nicest member of staff was a security guard who got us back in our room after the room somehow got locked from the inside and he was very nice to let us in and offer fresh towels and anything else. My husband and I stayed here for my first visit to Disney World, Magic Kingdom. The Inn consists of 5 buildings. We were there for 2 nights so, we didn't have the time or cared to take the time to peruse the layout of the entire Inn, or campus. Very nice room in building 4 which was a walk from the main building and on the 5th floor. Room was very clean and smelled nice. We had two queen-size beds, TV, coffeemaker, microwave, hairdryer, ice bucket and plenty of towels, amenities and toiletries. Parking was ample. We also carry our own comforter so we do not share germs, DNA, etc... The Inn also furnished us with a free ride, shuttle, to Disney World. The only drawback to this was there was only 2 return trips, one at 8:45pm which the driver was over 1/2 hour late and another at 11:15pm. The coach (bus) was very nice and clean. You are going to need to be prepared for a lengthy wait and sales pitch after registering at the front desk. The Inn will offer Disney tickets and lots of other stuff we were not interested in. We would definitely stay here again. Collapse

We had two weeks at this hotel and it was wonderful, security was topps, we had a leaky tap told reception when i got back to our room from reception the maintenance man was waiting for us, and the leak was fixed, the food at the hotel was awful breakfast was very dry not much to choose from, really nasty food and no one shows where anything is very poor service so only ate there once, beautiful clean rooms with white sheets on the beds lovely clean towels our cleaner was a lovely lady so we gave her a big tip she deserved it, always met her with a wave or a goodmorning a happy lady, 2 pools both lovely and warm, and the whole hotel site was immaculatly kept, gardeners were always working on it beautiful ground with beautiful ponds, really cant praise this hotel enough the front desk was so helpful all the time, nothing was left any complaints were dealt with efficiantly and fast, love this hotel and will deffinatly go here again with out a doubt, Collapse

We are staying here due to a last minute booking. Would much rather be staying on international drive, in the middle of everything. LBV is a little out of the way if you dont have a car. We are getting taxis between 2-4 times per day. Home now so finishing review. Thanks to Uber and Lyft, half the price of normal yellow cabs, in total spent £300 in cabs over the 2 weeks (cheaper than a hire car with insurance) and no hassle. You just need to make sure you can access wifi in order to book these taxis. We got caught out once thinking all restaurants would have wifi... not in America, the shops tend to have wifi more than the restaurants. The hotel room was adequate for 4 people, plenty of space and storage, 2 large beds, large TV, phone with FREE local calls, FREE safe, FREE fridge, FREE air con, FREE wifi, complimentary tea, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, soap and shower gel. I have enlarged the word FREE as we have been travelling to greece, spain, cyprus etc more lately and are charged extra for all these things, it really was great to get them for FREE or at least included in the overall price. We all hate having to pay for these extras. I think we drew the short straw on our maid.......The room was clean and we got fresh towels every day. The beds were not changed by day 7 so i asked the head maid, said she would sort it, day 10 still not changed, reported it to reception and it was done. The maid broke the curtain hooks on 3 occasions and they were left on the floor for days, I wanted to see if she was actually cleaning or hoovering, but must not of been, why hoover round them? I reported this twice before they were fixed and she pulled them down again... I gave up.. It was 8 yrs since our last visit to USA and we noticed alot of changes. The main one being all the different nationalities who are now working in the hotels, taxis, parks and shops. These staff are no where near as pleasant as the original Americans or as knowledgeable. We are well travelled and always ask reception staff for details, the non local staff had to look up a lot of our questions or told us to use the computers and look ourselves. The hotel supplies coaches and mini buses to most of the parks (not all). You can get a list of the departure and pick up times from the stand near reception. The staff here are not employed by the hotel, some of them were friendly when they thought you wanted to buy tickets from them. I informed them I already had all my park tickets but asked them questions, I did not find them very helpful. Hosea was to the point of rude, I don't think he enjoyed his job one bit. Each time I asked a question I felt like I was disturbing him. His attitude was not good and he would not get a job from me. I asked them about taxi's one day and they told me to use the internet.....not very helpful. There is usually only one bus each way per day per park. We were advised to wait at the pick up point just near the entrance of the hotel, but it didn't matter if you were first in the que, when that bus arrived it was a free for all, pushing and shoving no matter if you were old, young, disabled or not, first come first served. Some had to stand but I think they managed to fit everyone on. The allocated times resulted in us having to stay at some of the parks till later than we would have liked. I think the one to Magic Kingdom left at 8am and returned at 9pm.... too long for us. We like international drive so if we could get the iride from the parks we did this, popped to the shopping malls then got a taxi back to the hotel. We did this quite a lot and even though it was time consuming we enjoyed the sites. We got a great deal on the iride as we bought the 14 day unlimited iride tickets in with our park tickets, we just hopped off and on as much as we wanted. It was $2 per ride to pay on board. The hotel had 2 swimming pools, FREE towels. We only used the one closest to our room, you need your room key to enter the pool area. No lifeguards. One day while we were in the pool a young lady had a fit, we don't know if it was epileptic or what as she or her friend did not speak any English. She slipped under the water while fitting and myself and another lady got her out and I just shouted for a first aider, my son ran to reception where he said they very calmly asked him what was wrong, he explained and they followed him back to the pool, he ran, they walked. During this time we had kept the girl comfortable and ensured her safety. When the security guard saw her she called 911. The fire rescue and paramedics arrived quite quickly and took over. She was taken to hospital but we left the next day so hope she recovered well. If I had a choice I would not eat in the hotel restaurant. The breakfast was like a cattle market, there was no good time to go, it was packed, the toaster took at least 4 minutes to cook each piece of bread, so you can imagine the queues or lack of, for those who don't believe in taking their turn. It was a typical buffet breakfast, I didn't think it was that bad as I only had cereal, toast and coffee. You could make your own Mickey Mouse pancakes kids loved to do this, but queues again.....My kids refused to go back after the first time. The waitress would offer you a drink and that's why they put a service charge on the bill. Often I got my own drink as they were too busy and I still had to pay service charge....We tried one evening meal here which we did not eat,the waiter waived our bill as he noticed we had not eaten anything (I did not even say anything to him about the food, he asked why we had not finished any of our food and the kids told him it didn't taste nice). We tried one evening meal in the bar, one word awful...... Two days before we left I asked to speak to the manager, I told her we had a fab time on our holiday but i wanted to inform her of the faults/issues we had come across with the hotel, she was very nice and took all my comments on board. She wished I had gone to see her before but I said it was a busy holiday and full on we didn't have the time to see her before then. She was apologetic for our troubles and gave us complimentary breakfasts and late check out. I appreciated this as she could of just said sorry!!!! I cannot rem her name but she was a real original American lady with a lovely attitude. The kids still did not eat the breakfast but had cups of tea. All in all we had a great holiday but I do like to give a true review of each place, in the hope of helping others. This was definitely a basic hotel with all the usual American extras. I would not chose to stay here again due to the location and poor quality of food and some staff. Collapse
