Saying that this hotel was a disappointment is an understatement. From day one, the staff's patronizing attitudes were apparent. The room was small and the bathroom was tiny. The blinds do not shut all the way, allowing light to shine through at night. The walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbors conversations. Three days into our stay, the maid had still not cleaned our room- she only did after 3 complaints. We never received clean towels unless we called. You also need to cross an extremely busy street to get to the beach. Unimpressed. Dissatisfied. Next mother daughter trip will be spent at one of the many upscale, welcoming hotels in this area. Check in is at 3pm. Our flight arrived early and they were able to accommodate us when we arrived. Took Uber to the hotel is was just under $30. Very clean hotel and the staff is very nice. They do have a daily resort fee per room which covers your beach towel, use of the pool which is open 24 hours and a chair at the beach. If you want an umbrella it's $15 extra. The rooms are small but it's not a traditional hotel. They used the space wisely. Because it is a old building they are limited on power sockets in the room. The hotel staff was helpful in explaining the free trolley which we used to go to south beach area. Trolley is popular during rush hour commute times but they run all day until midnight. I cannot express how pleased I was with the quality of the hotel and service for what you pay. Will definitely recommend and would stay here again. Collapse

My boyfriend and I visited Miami for the first time this year. We're under 21 so we were searching for a nice hotel with great amenities and something that's minimum 18+ check-in of course. I stumbled across this gorgeous hotel and it had literally everything we were looking for. A nice standard pool, quick walk to the beach, and a kitchen of their own if we wanted to eat. PROS: -Clean room (They use Aveda products for their toiletries- LOVE AVEDA) -Beautiful decor (Super colorful and happy) -Quick check-in (We checked in as early as 11:30 am) -Fee includes pool, gym, and beach access with chairs (Not bad for approx. $17 a day) -Super friendly staff -A/C Throughout the whole building and rooms -Bath robes were provided (I'm a sucker for those) -THE FOOD IN JULES KITCHEN IS AMAZING! We tried all the hot spots in Miami and as food-lovers, nothing compared to Jules Kitchen! -Ubers are super cheap ($5-$7 UberX to South Beach) -Huge Mirror in the lobby and in the room CONS: -They hold a $150 deposit from your account upon arrival so keep that in mind -The room wasn't cleaned until 4pm (For us at least. We were on the third floor. No biggie, just expected a quicker clean-up) -Breakfast at the hotel is $20.26 (I believe) per person if you do not pay for it when you book the hotel. (Too much in my opinion. Their options at the buffet were: Eggs, Pancakes, Tater tots, Assortment of fruits, cereal, and some sweets.) Collapse

My wife and I picked this hotel from a review and list on TripAdvisor and it was a winner! Juan, the desk supervisor, went out of his way to meet us at the parking area and assist with my mobility scooter and was attentive throughout our stay. He handed us over to Jackson who got us settled in and made several dining suggestions and also was attentive during our stay. The hotel is charming in an intimate, old Miami Beach way. Everything is neat, clean and was recently updated. Our room was also charming and comfortable. the pool was just off the lobby, with cabañas and lounging furniture in abundance. We decided to stay at the hotel and have a sort of tapas meal with cocktails at the Wunder Bar. Great Choice. Manuel made it all fun with great suggestions about happy hour special and drinks. Overall a great choice,1 block to the boardwalk and beach, and convenient to the 41st street connection to the rest of the Beach, Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Collapse

travel to Miami for bussiness and lesure several times a year and i never stayed at the Circa39 before. This hidden jewell is worthy to mention. It is away enough from the crazy south beach to be able to rest from the noise yet is close enough to enjoy it if i want it. The decor and ambiance was great and very welcoming. The rooms were bigh enough to be comfortable and well clean and kept. The staff is really worthy to mention because they didnt hesitate to help me. From Jackson at the bell stand who happily help us with our luggage and local info, Juan at the front desk who check us in in a very efficient way and also genuinaly making us feel welcome, the housekeeping Joli who always bring us extra towells and everything we needed whit a big smile, the overnight lady ( blindill?) Wich i drove Her nuts with a thousand questions but she always ansered me with patience and care. The pool is always open and at night/morning we sat in the cabana area and we enjoyed a pizza delivered from a local place, and it was a beautifull experience. it was quiet and and relaxing, nobody was there exept time to time a very polite security officer named Andre who was constantly making rounds and checks, making us feel very secure, allowing us to relax even more. The food was great but it took a litle to arrive, but Fabi and her staff compesate it with her costumer service. I really enjoyed staying at the Circa39 and i will defenely come back Collapse
