We stayed on a Temple Treasure room, the theme is nice, we had a separate kids area which makes for a more relaxing night sleep. In the room is also a fridge and a TV in each area. Also available was a quiz for the kids to do which involved finding things in the room and finally a gift for each child in the safe. This hotel is great for staying local to the park, the breakfast was also great, lots of choice, the pancake machine was a big hit. Only issue we had is the key didn't work, we have stayed at cheesing about 4 times and this seems to happen every time so ask them to double check it. Collapse

This is the second year we have visited and I was concerned to see the recent poor reviews. I need not have worried. We stayed in the cheapest room 1002 hadn't asked for a safari view but will ask next time as couldn't see much but as only for one night not bothered. We booked restaurant and swimming pool without trouble. I was pleased that there was children evening entertainment on a Thursday night the week before half term. The buffet Azteca restaurant is very pricey but for convenience good. In the end we didn't eat there as ate in park just before closing and then went to swim. Unfortunately the main swimming pool was closed and whilst the toddler would have enjoyed the splash pool my eldest children wanted to swim properly. So we gave that a miss. We lost a small toy of my daughter's as the safe wouldn't reopen after a while of the kids putting things in and out. They gave the children free pick and mix and a toy each which was very kind. All the staff seemed cheery and helpful. We had no complaints at all about breakfast there was plenty of food. We love this hotel and will return. Collapse

Stayed here 17-19th October 2016 and must say we was slightly disappointed We checked in and got door keys for room 1001 - we went to the room (which is quite a way to carry luggage) only to find the cards didn't work in the door so I along with kids walked all the way back to reception to tell them we couldn't access room - to which she apologised and set the keys again. so went back to the room only to find the same thing happen again a maid was passing so I asked her if she could help us access the room to which she rather aggressively said "go to reception" which I told her I had already done and she promptly walked off whilst I was still talking to her . So once again had the long walk back to reception to which the receptionist went out the back and spoke to somebody who then told her there was a problem with the lock so was allocated another room. This new room was fine although found the room very dark and struggled to see things. Then on the first morning was having breakfast in the Temple restaurant when the fire alarm went off - which I understand everyone has to be evacuated - but by the time we was sent outside nobody seemed to know what to do!? was then eventually told we had to go to the front car park so we had to go all the way around the hotel to stand in the middle of the car park. Was then told a while later we was free to go back - by which time was nearly the end of breakfast and just thought by the time we had walked all the way back it wasn't worth finishing/having breakfast. All in all we enjoyed the stay but believe things could have been handled a lot better and wasted a lot of park time trying to sort the room situation out. Collapse

Third time staying here and can't rate it high enough. Lovely Temple summit room with great view over the Wanyama animals to wake up to. Special mention must go to Ben at reception - he couldn't do enough for us when we had an issue and he really went the extra mile - an absolute star well done sir! Breakfast is fine in the Temple restaurant but with both hotels using it during this stay cutlery and cups were in short supply but no big issue. We love this place and will be back soon. Collapse

Nice welcome even though we were late after spending day at Legoland and Firework show.
