Booked this hotel for a family get together and for some Blackpool attractions on Sunday. Arrived Saturday ready to check in with quick service and helpful staff telling us about breakfast times ect were straight into our room a good size with a double and a a single. A bit dated but clean and everything you need. (wire on kettle was a bit dodgy but up a height from kids reach). Once we checked out the facilities we headed to the swimming pool with hotel towels. We had the pool and Jacuzzi to ourselves was totally heaven! Sauna and Steam room were great too. We stayed in over an hr - well relaxed! After a quick change we headed to the bar for food. Great menu and food was lush, great presentation, reasonable prices and quick service. We headed to the sofas for puddings and drinks! Breakfast was lovely, good choice. Negative: One or two unfriendly staff especially the younger ones. Definitely return. Collapse

Once again my sister and I have just returned from a lovely visit to the Chadwick Hotel. The Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. . Our room was warm and spotlessly clean with plenty of hot running water. We had a varied menu each evening. The food was very nice and the buffet style breakfast suited us. The Staff were on hand to provide help if it was needed. Whilst we were there the evening entertainment was excellent each night. Daytime entertainment was provided by Margaret. She does a wonderful job of mixing with the clients and making sure that everyone has a good time. It was lovely to catch up with the friends that we have made over the past number of years with our visits to the Chadwick. We are already looking forward to visiting again in 2018! Collapse
Quaint, quirky and tired

Spent a week at this hotel while visiting a sick relative in the area. As the saying goes "you get what you pay for..." We got a really good price on this hotel per night. The rooms are a bit tired and the "bed skirts" were very dirty. The flooring in the hotel is not even. The lift is a one person lift. We stayed on the second floor. Every night we were there a band played until quite late. Unfortunately it was right beneath our room. Loud until around 11:30pm. The breakfast was only ok. Nothing special about it and really not worth the price. If you are going for the good deal and don't mind a tired and worn out place then stay here. Otherwise, try somewhere else. Collapse

Pros *Free parking on site *Fairly modern bar and public areas with ok bar food and a good selection of drinks *Nice pool and jacuzzi *Decent location *Free wifi throughout the hotel * The receptionist that moved our room was brilliant and an asset to the hotel Cons * Receptionists on arrival were not very friendly or helpful and didn't seem to know what they were doing no offer of help with luggage just basically given a key and no information for example you needed a code to access the leisure facilities * Had to move rooms due to fixture and fittings hanging off the wall (seriously who in 2017 uses a trouser press) * Rooms are like going back to the 1980's with really dated and worn furniture, grubby tiles and the shower tried so hard to be a power shower but sadly just a warm trickle * Simple things like an iron and ironing board not provided in every room * Dirty carpets and shabby decor in the narrow corridors * Noise from the main room downstairs until 11:30pm which we could hear a few floors up this would have been fine but we were with a 2 year old who needed his bed earlier * Breakfast wasn't included in the rate and wasn't worth the extra money the staff were more interested in guarding the main door with a clip board than serving guests and the set up was hectic If the hotel invested some money and refurbished the rooms to match the public areas this has the potential to be a great hotel. Sadly, it didn't meet my expectations and I would recommend or return in a hurry. Collapse
Does exactly what it says on the tin.

We were running in the Lytham 10k so stayed over 12th & 13th November at the Chadwick. A little gem of a hotel with cute leisure facilities and staff that couldn't do enough for you. Hope to return. So have a bang on this!!!
