My daughter and my two grandchildren stayed here for two nights. We booked late so had to have a twin room, took our own child bed and they provided us with a cot. The room was plenty big enough. A little dated in decor but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and the staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Hotel is right on the sea front so great for the park and beach. shops are only 10 minutes walk or a retail park is 10 minutes drive away. All In All we will definitely be returning to this hotel as we had a lovely time . Collapse

Only trouble, school hols, loads of kids running around, even late at night, also some going up in lift and running down the stairs. Food o.k. not a great choice in evening but adequate. Would have been nice if parents controlled kids better. Would go again, but never in school holidays. Small pool and gym. Collapse

We stayed for 3 nts last week B&B. The first impressions was good, nice public area. Was given key to room 60, it was so dark as a very small window which looked directly onto a brick wall and no light could get in and it was VERY dated. I asked to be moved, went to Room 62 which was bigger and brighter but again VERY dated and the outlook was industrial rooftop, the double glazed window unit was burst so could hardly see out. The ceiling fan, light above bedroom mirror, light above bathroom mirror, tap on wash hand basin all didn't work. on 2 days we had no hot water, had to have cold shower and wash my hair with cold water! The bed was clean and towels were nice, the breakfast was good, staff in dining room was very nice. Reported all this when checking out but the chap didn't seem very interested, just said they were aware of the hot water situation! Very disappointed customer. Collapse

We booked 4 nights at the Chadwick 12 months prior and requested a ground floor room - this was not met and winding our way through and upstairs we arrived at our broom cupboard sorry bedroom. It was small and very outdated but we were here for a good time at Lytham festival. We start to get ready no cold water. We rang reception the phone didn't work so we make our way back to reception. There's a problem at the moment so why not tell us when we checked in?? Returned from the 1st night and went straight to bed to be woken at midnight by someone trying to get in our room!! I opened the door and it was a member of staff! Apparently a work man had been staying in our room for the last 3 weeks......AND!!! They ended up putting him in the room next door. Woke up next morning and my partner had a bath - huge mistake!!!! He turned the jacuzzi on and the immediate stench of sewage and stagnant water hit us straight in the face! We couldn't get rid of the smell!!!! Even when trying to have a bath without the jets you could smell the sewage!! We had to stuff the spare blankets down the back of the bed as you would loose your pillows otherwise as the mattress was too small for the base. Whilst we were walking to/from the main doors you could see in some other rooms and these looked to be more modern so why were given the room we were I don't know. The reception staff were nice & friendly and the lady doing the bacon barms/bar also nice & friendly. Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to risk getting that room again or one like it so won't be returning Collapse

Stayed 8 - 15 July for a short holiday. Excellent value for money with a very friendly and helpful staff. Great situation for taking in Blackpool and Lytham. Evening meals very good with reasonable priced wine. Really enjoyed our stay.
