After hearing so much negative comments on here I was a little apprehensive about this years holiday to say the least, yes the rooms were a little tired but if it's a lavish 5 star break your after pay the extra money and book one, we were just around the corner from the pool but could still see our kids playing if we wanted a chill on the balcony area, the cleaners called in to clean our room on many occasions and were always willing to provide fresh towels or toilet rolls when approached and had an had an extremely friendly demeanor, the food we can't comment on as we were self catering but the reception staff were extremely helpful and quickly rectifying any problems when informed, the pool was well maintained and the attendant always kept himself busy and we always had many loungers to choose from, we had a safe in our room but never felt threatened at any time, this was a great base for us with succulent pizza shop only a two minute walk away "PizaArt" and all the shops, bars and restaurants only a ten minute walk away, if you are thinking of going to this area and taking kids feeding the chipmunks is a must way of spending an hour or two, they love fresh chopped cucumber, baby carrots and monkey nuts to mention a few items, to find them just go down to the beach and turn right you will find them amongst the rocks on what looks like waste land. Just got back from a weeks holiday, stayed at the Moon complex, didn't really sleep all week as right by the side of the road, when we were on our way back form the lovely beach, wanted to pop into tropical park complex, which is just across the road from us, we couldn't get in, had to wait for somebody to come by who was inside the complex to open the door to get a beer from the bar there, our complex did not have a bar or locked the gate, we were all inclusive, it made us feel like outsiders, if they were so security aware why was not our complex locked, it did have a card system, at the bar they were very rude, as though to say you want another drink with your lunch, dinner, etc., we stayed outside at the pool one evening, went in at about 9.30 and was told that they were shut? It was supposed to be open until 11 p.m. But other than that it was very lovely the island was beautifull and the entertainment along the road was very good, and there ws a music bar at the top of the complex which was very good. A place definitely to avoid. ( I will follow up with another review when I get home)

Firstly I have given it one star as I have to give it something. We arrived Thursday evening July 6th. We expected a very basic accommodation and our overall expectations were relatively low as a result of reading previous reviews. However we never expected to be requesting to move on the first night at midnight as a result of the fans not working. As we were in bungalow 97 I had to walk half mile back to reception, to pick up the key to no 103. I was told that I must return the key to 97 THAT NIGHT. in the end common sense prevailed and returned it the following morning. We asked if we could move closer to the amenities and was informed that all other bungalows are privately owned. THE ROOM:- Far worse than basic. Cockroaches give some form of entertainment. The towels must be 20+ years old as they are ragged and do not dry but smudge. The fridges are dirty and food residue remains on the crockery and cutlery. The fans provide little comfort against the searing heat. The electricity goes off some nights leaving you in a bed of sweat and unable to sleep. THE SO CALLED "ALL INCLUSIVE" :- Yes we went all inclusive. BIG MISTAKE. We tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. Terrible. We ended up spending an additional £800+ in order to eat elsewhere. To be continued........... Collapse

I am disappointed to say this hotel is not great at all. I read the reviews and went with an open mind however it's a shame the reviews were quite accurate!! And I have to say I share the same opinion as most on hear! The hotel is run down and requires a full overhaul. Upon walking to the apartments, even from the road you can tell it is very run down and 'forgotten about' it looks like the work men went for a siesta and never returned! Our apartment STANK of smoke! Who ever stayed before us obviously was smoking in hear, which was very annoying seeing as we had our baby girl with us too! Our 'neighbours' also said there's smelt too! The pool was nice and well looked after, however again, not suitable for baby's as the pool is not heated and freezing cold untill 3pm when the sun has heated it up! But great for he adults and it was clean and tidy which is a plus! Cats are rife in the complex ... so great if you like them! A little walk to the only restaurant shared by 4 complexes. The food is very mediocre and serves as a base however not great quality and we prefered eating in the town were some real gems can be found! Also after 6pm you have to walk the 1/2 mile to get a drink and sit in the very un-atmospheric room. No entertainment which is a shame, but again some great bars in the local towns to keep you entertained! I think hotel serves better as a time share or self catering (which I think it mainly is and they should just give us the ghost on the so called 'all inclusive' I had total hotel envy and wished I payed £50 more PP and stayed at the hotel on the sea front in the town!!!!! I hate giving a bad review and I have just left lots of lovely reviews about great restaurants in the town however i will say this!!!! The staff at the hotel .. in particular the bar staff and waiters were amazing and made us fell very welcome!!! Collapse
