We visited 21st-24th April. Would advise not to go at this time. We had self catering apartment however, no supermarkets for miles are open. We ended up paying €50 for a taxi to a supermarket and back. To add all inclusive was €50 per person per day. Reception were most unhelpful, we arrived at around 11am and were told we couldn't check in until 2pm...when we went to check in at 2pm (after sitting on the beach with luggage for 3 hours) we were told 'it's not ready, too busy', after not accepting this the lady phoned someone and said 'oh it is now'. As you can imagine we were most frustrated. On check out day you must check out at 11am (our flight wasn't until 8pm). We asked for later check out times of which we were told not possible. They also said there is no secure place to keep your belongings. They are not accommodating at all. Reception also told us there was a supermarket 30 minutes walk away, we walked 7 miles to find it was closed. Pools are freezing cold and you are unable to go in them. On a positive note, the rooms are lovely and clean, great views, bins are emptied everyday. The beach next to the resort is nice, very quiet at this time of year, though there is jelly fish so be careful! Lovely local tapas bar just up the road, which we would recommend highly. Collapse
Needs to work on first impressions.

The biggest highlight of our holiday were the staff in the restaurant, bar and entertainment. They were very friendly, helpful and made us feel right at home. The room itself was basic but clean (Spanish standard), made up daily and fresh towels every day which was a bonus. The pools and splash park were a big hit with the kids. There are plenty of things for the children to keep them entertained. The restaurant was such a surprise, how often is a buffet chicken nuggets and chips? Not the case here; bread made freshly before your eyes, plenty of fruit and vegetables and a nice variation fish/meat/vegetarian dishes. There is the option to have chicken nuggets and chips if you desire. Again, the restaurant staff are excellent. As you walk around the resort you will see a small army of staff mopping and cleaning window, hence the whole place is very clean. The beach appears to only be accessible to hotel guests which is nice but difficult to get to with a buggy. The downside were: When we first arrived late in the evening with two children, a baby and the normal bags/car seats/pushchair etc to be greeted by a friendly but not particularly helpful receptionist. Signing in was as normal but no assistance was offered to find (which wasn't easy) and get all of our things to our apartment which was 300m up the hill then up an unlit staircase. We thought it would be common practice to allocate ground floor apartments to families with babies? Also it's worth noting that the slot you put your key to make the lights work is conveniently hidden behind the front door. Reception don't mention this, perhaps it's a game? If you are travelling here before May it is also worth noting the onsite supermarket won't be open so toiletries etc are a taxi or bus ride away to the next nearest town. I would also say it's worth hiring a car if you want to get out and about as the bus is only twice a day. All in all we had a lovely holiday here let down by a couple of small points. Collapse

Everything said about the facilities and the quality of the staff is correct. They are so welcoming and helpful. My problem was our room. On arrival we were checked in and went to our room. I could not work the lock on the door , but eventually with a lot of force and effort got the key to turn.Once in the room the door wouldn`t close so I locked it from the inside. We then found it wouldn`t unlock so we went to open the balcony door to call for help. We did this after finding the room phone not working. We couldn`t open the balcony door as the lock was broken. My thought was what if there was a fire and we were trapped . Fortunately my daughter was staying in another apartment and she called by and spoke to us then got help. Two workmen eventually arrived and carried out repairs to the doors. After they left we discovered that the electric wasn`t on. Back to Reception and wait again for workmen to repair the problem. Also while in Reception had to ask for toilet paper which was not in the room. I was quite concerned as the electric fusing indicated a problem and no real check was made. We had now wasted most of an afternoon of a four day holiday. The next day it turned colder and we decided to put the heating on. This didn`t work so back to Reception where they gave us extra blankets and a portable convector heater. This blew the fuse. I couldn`t be bothered to go back to Reception so went to the fuse box and turned it back on. This was a mistake as my wife received an electric shock whe she switched it back on. On the day we left the shower packed in. This is a completely accurate account. We were probably the first guests of the season in Room J201 . The room had obviously not been checked and I should of made more fuss while there and demanded a room change. I think this room was potentially dangerous and in need of a full safety check. The food was good, bar prices very fair and apart from no heating in the pools other facilities were excellent. My advice is fully check your room on arrival. Collapse

Booked this as a last minute family holiday for myself, partner and 10 year old. Went half board but should have gone all inclusive, as the meals provided were great and even though the returant was good, the buffet option would have been plenty. Everything we wanted was at the resort, and the neariest village was only a taxi journey away. Resort was beautiful, staff were friendly and had a great kids club with all day activities so we could relax whilst daughter was happy playing and making friends. Felt very safe and plenty to do, especally the splash park which was fantastic for children. Went in the down season so some of the facilties were closed, but didnt mind. Would definatly go again if the price was the same Collapse
