Rooms Booked a superior sea view room through jet2. Fairly small but clean, comfortable and adequate for us being all inclusive. Amazing views. Food and drink Breakfast served until 11, lunch 12:30-2:30, snacks 4:30-5:30, dinner 7-10 in the buffet restaurant. They are fairly strict with these times and will come round and hurry you up to be out by closing. Lots of choice at all three meals, although the pudding selection was poor. Food caters for lots of different nationalities but there was always chips and handmade pizzas available if you have fussy eaters. You can help yourself to soft drinks, wine and beer. The buffet is like a school canteen and very loud however the staff do a great job of keeping it clean. During the day drinks are only available from the main pool bar or main indoor bar (next to the main pool). All drinks day or night are served in plastic cups. Water is only given a cup at a time. It would make a big difference if small bottles of water were available to help yourself too. As the hotel got busier towards the end of our stay queues were getting bigger for drinks but we never waited more than five minutes. Cocktails aren't the best, mostly made from bottles of ready mixed flavours. Little pots of ice cream (vanilla, strawberry and chocolate) are available all day from the pool bar, would have been nice to have a little selection of ice lollies to choose from too. The bar near the garden pool wasn't open during our stay so a little walk to get drinks if based here. No drinks allowed in the splash park. Again a water station near here would be welcome. Pools and facilities Main pool is busy and loud. Sun beds are all reserved very early on. Inflatables aren't allowed in the pool. The garden pool is much quieter, we spent most our time here. Again, sunbeds are all reserved pretty early but there are grassy areas around so can set up camp. Good idea to bring a picnic blanket as sometimes our towels got muddy. The sign says no inflatables in this pool but the pool was full of them. Splash park was great, very few sun beds with shade though. Only two umbrellas to cover the whole park. Strict no food or drink rule. The hotel runs a pool party every Monday night. Kids loved it but it can be hard to spot them amongst everyone so take some glow sticks / bracelets! There is a tennis court which can be booked at the animation team hut near the pool. After 7pm anyone can play. We had our own rackets but I'm sure the hotel had them for loan too. Beach volley ball area was great also. Beach Gorgeous beach, some days it was still, perfect for snorkelling other days lots of waves perfect for body boarding. Worth the five minute walk over the wooden steps to the next bay which is much bigger and quieter. Two sun beds and a parasol €15 a day. This is a good 3* hotel. We had a great holiday, loved having beach, pool, splash park to choose from. Easier availability of drinks, especially water, and more shade at the splash park would improve the holiday experience in my opinion. Also, a change to the sun bed situation......So many were reserved all day but rarely used, I understand this is very difficult to police though. The resort is set on a hill so you will spend lots of time walking up hills! We found it a good way of working off all the all inclusive food and drinks! Collapse

Just arrived home from a week away with 6 children and 6 adults, the food was great and the activities were enjoyed by all, the staff were lovely and helpful especially Daniel and an Italian lady who worked in the main bar i didn't get chance to catch her name both brilliant and lovely to speak to, the only disappointing parts were the minimal toilet facilities around the pool given the amount of people there, the rooms were a bit of a trek up the hill especially with 6 weary kids and the beds were quite uncomfortable but all in all great family holiday it isn't 5* in terms of facilities but the good points did stand out with the 5* staff and food on a daily basis :) Collapse

We loved here, lots for the children to do, great animation team who try really hard to entertain and yet don't bother you much at all. Food was really good, we went all inclusive and there was plenty of choice at all mealtimes. Ice cream and hotdogs from 10:30 until late available at the poolside bar. Right on the beach which was pleasant. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was big enough for 3 Adults and a 3 year old, I think 4 Adults would have struggled for space. Clean towels, room clean and beds made everyday. All in all this was a great summer break which didn't cost the earth. Collapse

I spent 1 week with my family in this resort and it was perfect. Our room was on the top of the village with a nice view on the bay, it was not too big, but clean and perfect for our needs. The pool is perfect for families with small kids and the animation is involving people in many activities but without pressing you, so you are free to join or not but you can have fun and win aperitifs. Once of our best surprises was the restaurant. We booked only breakfast and dinner, but was more than enough and the quality and variety of food was excellent. A particular note and gratitude goes to the chef. We were travelling with our daughter that is celiac (allergic to gluten): the chef was able to grant same variety also for her (including wonderful desserts) ... this make our vacation exceptional as she was feeling the same like us. A gratitude also to the staff that always had a particular attention to our needs. Near the resort you have also a couple of walking distance beaches that are really nice and 15 minutes by care you have Platja de Cavalleria that is simply amazing. Great is also the mini-club for kids up to 8 ears old, regarding the junior club we think it can be little bit better organized. Only real negative feedback is around Wi-Fi availability. The hotel offer free Wi-Fi, but the quality of the service is really bad: continuous disconnections and very slow-speed internet. We will come back for sure and we highly suggest this resort. We booked a 3 night break last minute self catering here. We arrived at 10:30, but our room was not ready until 16:30. Fortunately you can change in the gym and we spent the time waiting around the pool. We were upgraded to a one bed apartment on the 4th floor above the restaurant. The apartment was very clean, basic, but was fine for us. Balcony Sofa and Flat screen TV. We wouldn't want to cook there as kitchen small with 2 rings and microwave (we had to buy a corkscrew as not provided). Not noisy at night as we expected apart from mornings when the gardeners started using blowers at 0700, and the staff in the restaurant had the music blaring at 07:30 the following morning. The pools are great, lots if sun beds around the main pool, though the other 2 pools sun beds mostly had towels on at 0800. Water park great for kids, though the evening entertainment was poor. Very close to a small beach with about 20 parasols with beds, though if you walk over the boardwalk there is a larger beach with around 40 more, much more space. Both beaches are great, though water can be rough, (great fun) it has lifeguards on duty. Staff were friendly, though reception seemed to be disorganised (major event - worse then getting to the crown jewels -trying to get the safe opened!) Also be aware they do charge for every little thing. We ate out, nice restaurants up the road, though people we met said AI was great. Overall, great value and position, clean with good facilities here, entertainment not great, and the reception staff friendly but disorganised. Collapse
