Myself and my 3 little people 12,11,4 visited the end of November. I'll give u negatives first, outside pool is not heated so not accessible this time of year even tho the weather was nice. The inside pool looks dirty it's not it's cloudy because it is treated sea water we swam in it everyday and still here to tell you how much fun we had, the area around the pool cud do with being updated but its functional. No entertainment for children, but then they was meant to be at school. That's all the bad Iv got for you!!!! Positives = my 4 year old was violently sick all over bed in the middle of the first night, staff where AMAZING!! (School bug) Food has plenty of variety us 4 have very different taste in food and we all had something we thoroughly enjoyed daily, admittedly it doesn't look the best but tastes amazing, puddings are normal all inclusive puds or apple crumble and custard (we had that everyday happily), the snacks in downstairs bar are FANTASTIC, I'd of liked ice cream on all inclusive but u have to pay for this. Yes the rooms don't look "trendy" but they r spotless. The cleaners where FANTASTIC clean towels everyday, beds made etc everyday. EVERY member of staff is LOVELY they kept patting my daughter on the head and smiling and always chatty and helpful. Location is perfect at the bottom of the road there is a shop where they do CHEAP day trips (Steves place), we traveled the entire island, on bus's get a 12 trip pass for 15euros. The other people visiting are lovely most of them have been there for a month or 6 weeks, which tells u a LOT about the hotel. We had a fantastic stay and I'd really like to say a massive thankyou to all the wonderful staff for all their love and support while we stayed I couldn't of asked for anymore help support and care than we received. If ur looking to sunbath, go to the area around the pool between 9am-1pm if it's cold out the front, or on the balcony still get urself out there, the shape of the hotel keeps cold winds off and the sun in. I HIGHLY recommend this place, we made lovely friends and had a FANTASTIC holiday!! Collapse

once again very pleased, food good and staff excellent, good location and quite quiet. jacuzzi on roof terrace in summer season is lovely to cool down in. not far from sea and shops. take a bus to golden bay which is our favourite beach, marsakloxx is a quaint fishing village down the other end of the island but is worth a visit on a sunday as the market adds to the beauty of the place. We booked this on the recommendation of the teletext agent who advised us that this was a "very good 4* accommodation". To say we were miss sold is an understatement, this hotel ruined our holiday! The hotel was unfit for human habitation, no way is this a 4* accommodation. I cannot stress how filthy it was, from the bedsheets which were stained and torn, the plug hold was blocked with human hair and grime 'and not mine'. The 'spa' (and I use that term loosely) area was in disrepair, mouldy and scummy. The whole hotel was seedy from the net curtains in the reception area to the ingrained grime in the floors. The food was worse than school dinners, rations laddled out to you by robotic staff who couldn't even raise a smile. There was very little choice, staff just dumped food on to plates, we observed a scene where another guest had to ask for more potatoes 'Oliver Twist' sprung to mind. I was not allowed 3 topping on a toastie despite being all inclusive. Drinks were all serve in thin plastic cups, and we had to sign for absolutely everything including a glass of water. We hardly ate there as this wasn't an enjoyable experience. I realise that this may review sounds negative but we paid £1200 all inc for two people for one week. This wasn't a budget holiday and even if we had gone here on a budget holiday we'd have still been disappointed with this hotel. TELETEXT holidays should be avoided at all cost, don't believe what they tell you. When I contacted TELETEXT holidays this was to enquire about another hotel in Malta that had been recommended to us by a friend but the agent persuaded us that the Canifor was a better value holiday on par with the one we were looking to book. I guess the hotel we were looking at wasn't on his commission list! On return we complained about the holiday. The hotel have never responded to our complaint or to TELETEXT's so I'm told. TELETEXT have insulted us massively by offering us £27.50 each which they can shove where the sun don't shine . Currently trying to get our money back through credit card company on Sec 75 ' Not Fit For Purpose'! This was done on behalf of my friends Karen Anwyll and Emily Harding Collapse
