We enjoyed our holiday here. Resort is very quiet. Resort is clean and tidy but the apartments are very dated and could do with maintenance and upgrading. Access to the reception is not easy especially when lugging cases. Courtesy bus to Meloneras is good but the one to Playa del Ingles abandons you well away from the beach. WIFI reception was very good and reliable and free. Towels for pool area not provided. Collapse

Just back from a fab week here and research of past reviews lived up to expectations. Spotlessly clean and very friendly staff Good sized rooms but beds just a little too hard Soo relaxing and quiet just what we needed. Centrally located between beach and town centre.Free courtesy bus a bonus and when we couldn't use that, taxis were cheap and quick. We didn't eat here for dinner as we like to go out and explore. The dinner buffet at 15e each seemed not bad priced but a visit to check it out on our first night left us unimpressed with what was on offer. We did try the buffet breakfast at 9e each once but didn't fancy it every day and opted to do our own breakfasts which worked out cheaper. Contrary to published statements about not putting towels down to reserve sun beds, this was blatantly disregarded with towels down from before 0800 hours, although later we still managed (just) to get two. **** Point to be aware of *** - the sun beds are all wired together in a line and have limited space to change position that coupled with the parasols being fixed to the ground. Also said wire is dangerous as in certain locations if you exited to the rear you could easily trip over the wire. Poolside bar prices very good but food poor standard. Entertainment in restaurant on Sat night only but we gave that a miss as it wasn't upto much. Great Wi-fi throughout(free) Very helpful reception staff esp re places to eat out to Thank goodness for effective air con in bedroom. Controller for air con plus tv remote and keys for door and safe all supplied with 20 e deposit returned on leaving This was our first holiday to Gran Canaria in over 12 years minus children but will definitely be back sooner Would recommend stay here Collapse

Bungalows are small but everything you need. Beds comfortable. Recommend booking deluxe bungalows as air con as well as ceiling fan in bedroom. No air con in lounge area. No charge for air con, safe, or to remote if in a deluxe bungalow. Other bungalows only have a ceiling fan and charges apply. Bungalows are set in nice gardens and each Bungalows has patio, two sun beds and a lawn area to sit out on too. Two pools including a children's pool. Very nice pool area including pool bar. Restuarant serving Buffet meals in the evening, good food with reasonable choice. Friendly staff. Bungalows kept clean. Maid service 6 days out of 7, towels changed once and sheets. Collapse

I booked our October holiday in the spring of 2017 via Teletext holidays online. I had looked at a number of similar properties in the same price range and chose these bungalows based on the many outstanding reviews on TripAdvisor. We are a family of 4 (2 adults, a 5 year old and a 2 year old) and let me start by saying the bungalow was much too small for us all to stay in comfortably! We arrived at the bungalows at approx 2pm (having left our home at 1am that morning) we were all totally exhausted and boiling hot only to be told the bungalow wasn't ready - I could have cried! We were told to go away and come back in an hour, and our luggage was kept securely. We wandered into the complex and sat in the restaurant area for a while before realising you had to order at the poolside bar, I had found the older dark haired male receptionist quite abrupt and grumpy and felt he could have been more informative about the facilities! We returned at 3pm and the room was still not ready, we were told it was because the previous occupants had left a terrible mess in there. Finally at 3:30pm we were given the keys. The bungalow was very small but seemingly clean and well appointed. I had emailed ahead to ensure we had a travel cot for the baby, it wasn't there, the tv remote did not work and we had to ask 3 times for a correct Wi-Fi code. when the cot was brought they put it in the living area, the air con (which was good and free) was only in the bedroom and so we had to slot it between the two beds leaving NO room whatsoever so move around. The beds are immovable, weird stone bases with a mattress on top and were very hard to sleep on and the pillows were so well used that the stuffing inside had matted into hundreds of small little balls which was unpleasant to sleep on. The shower was good and hot every time we used it but there was sometimes a horrible drain smell in the bathroom. We had at least 1 cockroach every time we came home at night, I think there is a gap under the door that allows them in. The pools were lovely and clean, no problems getting sunbeds and there was always a lifeguard on duty which I thought was excellent! Grounds were also clean and well maintained! The children's play area was tired and looked a bit scruffy, the rubber tiles on the floor were uneven and broken and my 2 year old tripped on them, cutting both knees so we didn't go there again! From previous reviews I had envisaged that the bungalows and the 'canary garden club' were quite separate entities but that was totally untrue, they are one and the same, the only difference being the canary club are all inclusive. We only ate once at the restaurant/snack bar for lunch and that was enough, the menu was basic, children not catered for and the quality was awful. I ordered a tuna salad (pictured) and I got some lettuce, onion and slices of tomato with about a quarter tin of tuna for 6 euros! shocking! From then on we only purchased ice creams and my husband had a cocktail which came from a machine and was vile (5 euros for a small plastic cup). The small shop there didn't cater for our needs (no fresh milk, fruit or veg) so we had to walk to the Faro2 shopping centre aka the post apocalyptic monstrosity nearby. I would suggest taking a taxi (4 euro each way) to Faro (Meloneres) in the evenings to eat as there is nothing to do at the property or in the area around it, in fact we found the area quite rough and depressing! You could walk it, but it's about 2 miles and too much for our 5 year old, plus I wouldn't feel safe at night! We encountered 5 different receptionists during our time there and only 2 were pleasant (the younger dark haired man and the grey haired older man) the rest were miserable and unhelpful. On our 4th day we were leaving for the beach when the cleaner came in and was cleaning around us so we gathered our things and left as there wasn't room to move. When we got to the beach I realised I had left my purse in the bungalow. My husband went straight back but it had gone. I'm not saying it was stolen but it was on the bed of the bungalow and then it wasn't. We never saw it or the 130 euros that was inside again. I reported it to reception who said I had to speak to the 'director' but it was Saturday and he wasn't back until Monday. On Monday he was of little help, and I was left feeling aggrieved about the whole thing! By the end of the week we were glad to be leaving, I would not return to maspalomas let alone these bungalows. This place may be perfect for some but it certainly wasn't for us! Collapse
