We are currently staying at these apartments and they have just been going from bad to worse. I would like to say that it is the luck of the draw as to whether you get good accommodation or not but there simply is no good accommodation. We were originally given two second floor rooms and when you walked in it was like a cave. You had to walk through one bedroom to get to another and there was no aircon in the bedrooms. Naturally we asked to be moved and we weren't the only people to do this. The next two rooms weren't much better. They had no facilities for self catering so no pans for cooking on the tiny hot plates, no microwave, toaster or kettle which we had to ask for from reception. They were able to find some of the items but not others. The bathrooms in both apartments looked as though they were recently redecorated with one bathroom having a very flimsy shower curtain which didn't work and regularly flooded the whole bathroom. The ceiling in here also looked as if it is going to fall down at any minute. The pool area is great for kids and there is a reasonably priced bar there too. The hotel claims to put on entertainment and hold mini discos and karaoke in the reception area but this is yet to happen as apparently the complex has a neighbour who regularly calls the police about noise complaints. As a result, we have been using our own speakers to play music in the evenings. The staff are very helpful especially with all of the problems we have encountered, from rats to cockroach infestations. It is a shame that the apartments are not better as it seems the staff have to deal with a lot of complaints. The apartments are very poor and we even got locked in the bedroom and had to escape though the window. If you can, please avoid at all costs. Collapse

Just awful,no words to describe this place, its so bad I'm so glad we only had 1 night here until our villa was available, no a/c ,stale smoke in room, frozen croissant and coffee for breakfast and had to queue to get it...tacky pikey place, forget towels/parasols or even a bed to lie/sit on round the pool, honestly couldn't wait to get out of here, i'm still annoyed spending£143 for the night,i'd rather wished we slept at the airport seriously, its so bad its actually laughable how anyone could rate this place as good or even ok is beyond me unless you're used to staying at a run down butlins.ive had better boys holidays booked from the back of the evening standard for less than i paid for this. Arrived with my partner and my 2 year old for a week stay which cost us 910 euro for the week. Was met by Anthony on reception who explained we couldn't pay by credit card to start and that we had been upgraded on arrival. Sounds a good and unexpected start but that's as positive as it get. Was shown to room 212 which was a tiny living area with settee and small old kitchenette area, dated bedroom with 2 single beds and walk in shower. No toaster, proper kettle the two rings did not work and we were given a plug in stove which did not work for heating things.Unpacked with the wee one desperate to get in the pool, an hour in pool and returned to roasting hot room. Went to reception to find an additional cost of 10 euro for air conditioning remote and 5 euro a day cost. An extra 10 euro cost for the to remote with one English Channel on tv also paid(apparently in contract everyone signs). Returned to room to have a shower to find their was no hot water in the shower which resulted in us all having cold showers which horrified our 2 year old. Reported the hot water fault to Anthony who told us it would be morning before we got it fixed. Went out for night and returned to find we had no electricity(the air conditioning being on had tripped the switch). Another trip to reception to report fault and it was sorted for the time being. Woke up and left apartments for day to return later. After a day out we headed back for a sleep and get ready for meeting the family at night time(we were over for a family wedding). Turned shower on to find hot water ran out after 2 mins and our two year old suffered another cold shower. As my partner was drying her hair the electricity was tripping(only appliance on). Headed straight to reception to once again report faults at approx 8.15pm. Was told by Anthony the handyman works 8-8 and he was finished for the night. This was not good enough and I felt let down by the apartments. Asked Anthony for a resolution asap and the cheek, abuse and tone I received from Anthony was nothing short of shocking in front of other customers. He agreed to to show me another room after he had checked in the customers who were arriving. After waiting in reception for people to be checked in Anthony showed me another room. Walked into 2nd room and went to check shower to find 5-6 COCKROACHES in the bathroom. Immediately walked out and headed back to 212 to find handyman in the room who said he didn't know why there was no hot water or electricity but nothing he could do. We packed our bags immediately and I took the only action I could to keep my family safe, we checked out!!!!! Spoke with Anthony before leaving about refunding our money. Anthony told us he did not deal with this but return the next day at 12 to meet Carmel(I think that's the name of the manager). Returned next day at 11.50 to be told by Anthony that the manager was aware of situation and had left for the day and to leave the apartments immediately. Reminded Anthony of his promise to speak to manager at 12 and he told me if I didn't leave asap he would make it very difficult for us to get any money back.. Returned to our new hotel (Hotel Cala Dor) and phoned booking.com to inform them. Eventually on day 6 of the holiday I was told to return to apartments to meet manager to get our money back. They gave us 5 days and refused to discuss any sort of compensation for the poor standard of living they provided. An ongoing argument is happening right now as I try to re-coup the 6th night I feel we are entitled to as we stayed one night which was full of incidents and poor customer service but they fully charged us for 2!!! DO NOT stay here. If you want electricity, hot water and cleanliness then this is not the place for you or your family. This is by far the worst place either of us have stayed and cannot emphasise just how dirty and poor the hotel is, never mind how rude and unhelpful the staff are. They WILL take your money then fail in every aspect of their duty of care to you. Collapse

We booked four rooms here and when we arrived we were told they only had three, then we was told two couples had to share ,we said no we booked four rooms and paid for four rooms Then the guy proceeded to show us rooms that had not been finished, again we said no they are not fit for purpose then he found two rooms but said we would have to move next day by this time we had been waiting around for nearly three hours,so we said OK but our room was not very good the paint was peeling off in the bedroom and the the shower pole was rusty . We reported this to Monarch who we booked through and they sent someone to look at this they were very helpful, during the holiday there was work going on every day. Collapse
