Where to start - Many reviews I read were quite negative so I was a little apprehensive of this holiday. I can honestly say I worried for nothing - The Bungerlow was clean and had everything needed, apart from a kettle but boiling water in a pan was simple enough. We did have a cockroach, which is expected in hot countries - The reception gave us a spray and the cleaners gave it a good spray the following morning. Roberto on reception was an absolute darling, he was so helpful and friendly! Nothing was to much trouble! Other staff all seemed pleasant enough - What you give us what you get, if you are polite then this is returned. The pool although not heated is absolutely amazing! Huge and beautiful and plenty of sunbeds available. We were very lucky with weather. Food in restaurant not great but edible and good enough for a daytime snack. Beds were a little hard but for a 10 day holiday they were fine. I met a little friend, a black & white Cat & although maybe you shouldn't feed them, he cried alot and it was no big deal to put a little food down and be kind! He has a broken tail, please treat him kindly as he is a gorgeous animal and it's quite sad! (Animal lover). Everything is a cab ride away, no more than 5 euros in cab - Yumbo is good and Lots of reasonable restaurants! Go to Ricky's cabaret, it is brilliant! All in all we had an amazing time and for a budget accommodation we would highly recommend! People in Maspalomas/Gran can are so lovely and friendly! Will be sad to leave - Thank you Parque Bali for an amazing holiday with fabulous memories Collapse
Ok, would go again.

Booked a cheap and cheerful holiday and this is what we got. Did not expect any luxuries, but was better than I expected. These are just basic bungalows, but we were never really in them, only to sleep. Pool area was nice, we were there in January and was nice and quiet with plenty of sunshine. Had snack bar, but was not clear when this opened and staff couldn't really speak any english to advise. Served drinks, ice lollies, hot and cold food. Was pleasant enough when we tried it. Also had a restaurant at night, but we didn't use this. This had entertainment some nights. Small kids play park and pool table, ice hockey and table football. Shop sold basic supplies and had fresh bread daily. Not much dearer than other supermarket we used down the front. We eventually found a large supermarket in El Tablero shopping centre. This was so much cheaper. Bungalow: Basic as stated, had two rings to cook and a microwave. Decor had been updated a little and made it pleasant enough. You have to hire safe, remote control and later found out a kettle, we had been using a pot!!! The apartment was clean enough and spacious enough for our family of four. Was supposed to be cleaned every day apart from Tuesday and Thursday, as others have stated, I think it was only actually cleaned once in our week, with the other times just emptying bins and leaving toilet rolls. Our towels were only changed once in our week and the bedding was never changed even though it stated it would be once per week. There was a tv, my family in other bungalow paid 20 euro deposit to get remote control and when they did, there were no english channels. Only spanish, german, think they should look in to this and try and accommodate everyone. The downfalls with these apartments are the reception staff. I have never come across so many rude and unpleasant staff in my life. They did not utter a single word, no hello, please or thank you. We asked them every night to phone us a taxi and they just pointed that we were to stand outside. They are the same people who serve in small shop and are the same there, just take your money without a word said. The only time they spoke was to tell my 10 year old to get out the shop (Salvidor) he had one euro to but three lollies as the day before they were 30 cents each and today Salvidor decided they were 50c each, told my son he was just trying to get free things!!! So yes they do speak, but only to be rude!!!! I am not sure if this is a family run business or if these people were hired, but someone needs to have a serious word with them about manners. There is no need to be so unpleasant! Check in was efficient. The other thing was our room, we were number 375 and our patio faced out towards the car park, bit disappointing, but apparently the apartments were full and we could not be moved. My family were in room 269 and this was much better. Could see the pool without being right at it and had sun all day on their porch. The bungalows were about 30 minutes walk to the beach area, taxi was only 3.50 euro. There was nothing much around the bungalows, but every where was only around 3.50 to get to. There was a nice park about 10 minutes walk away with bbq area and things for kids to do. Overall, I like my luxuries as well as the next person, but sometimes you just need a cheap holiday and this is what we got. I would use these bungalows again as enjoyed sitting around the pool area and the bungalow was fine if you know what you are going to. I wouldn't necessarily recommend these to people, but my family and family in other bungalow agreed that we would come again as we had the most relaxing time and bungalows were suitable for our needs. We chose this accomodation purely based on a cheap price. And even if not having high expectations, this was the worst accomodation we have experienced in Maspalomas (5th time there now, seen also other low-budget bungalows). First impression: staff was not welcoming at all, fridge was broken in the bungalow, some black piece of excrement from small animal all over, no remote for TV etc. The beds had uncomfortable and noisy plastic mattress covers. Room was not clean, and during our one week stay I don't believe they even did sweep the floor. Nothing else than toilet paper and towels are provided. Food in restaurant was nothing to mention. All in all, would not recommend this place for anyone. We did get a joke out of this, that even cockroaches rather die than want to live there, as we had a mass of dead cockroaches outside our front porch (and a couple living ones inside). Collapse
