The hotel is a little out of the centre of Maspalomas but taxis were easy and cheap for all destinations Rooms were clean but no air con and must be really hot in the summer months. In October it was ok and with no mosquitos the windows could left open The bar service was a little slow on occasion due to lack of staff but to be fair it didn't cause us major problems. Cleaners in every other day and no shortage of toiletries and towels The restaurant was ok for a budget all incl and apart from the wine which was awful the drinks menu was good The pool was clean the cabaret limited and all in all we had great weather and a chilled holiday Collapse

Firstly, please, for the love of God, ignore the really bad reviews. My wife and I are just back from a week long stay. I had read the horror stories and was really fearing the worst. Got there to be met by a cheery and helpful man on reception, probably helped that we had made an effort at greeting him in Spanish! Room allocated, directions given and we were unpacked in 10 minutes. Rooms are basic but clean, exactly what it said on the tin. Bar was great and the drinks were unwatered. Bar staff were amazing, doubling up when it came to meal times. Meals, there was something for everyone at every meal and frankly, we thought the food was great, the guys were clearing tables at a phenomenal rate but were really grateful when you actually picked a plate up and carried it the whole 15 feet to the trolley for them. The maids were around every day but the rooms were given a cursory clean, again, no complaints! We found the place to be full of great staff who were really helpful, again, probably assisted by the fact that we tried to converse (poorly) in Spanish. Treat people as you would like to be treated yourself and all that! We were in the very small minority that were there for the first time, the majority having been on numerous occasions for years, most people were there for at least the second time. We were blessed by a great crowd, some were back for their 6th & 7th visit. There were activities every day for children and adults, there was something to do at the pool bar every night except Sunday. We all need one day off a week though! If I was to be asked to name a fault, really hard to do as you know what to expect, no air con - but we knew that before we went. No tv remote, no sweat as we never even plugged it in! No kettle. Use the coffee machine at the bar or a pot and the cooker supplied! I don’t know what people expect for their money but having been on a 5 star all incl last year at circa £60 a night per head for us both, we were less than half of that this time and I can honestly say that we enjoyed it every bit as much. If you want a cheap and cheerful holiday that is excellent value for money - look no further than here. Collapse

I purposely didn’t read any reviews about this hotel before visiting as aimed as a budget holiday but after arriving I was pleasantly surprised. It’s by no way a 5* resort but it is a lovely place. All the rooms are around the pool have a terrace with table and chairs and sun beds. The rooms are basic but were clean when we arrived. The pool is a good size and there are plenty of sun beds to used. They are stacked and chained up every night. This avoids the really early starts to reserve a bed as they aren’t unchained until about 8.30am. The food is simple but always nice and plenty of choice and the bar which is also the pool side bar is always well stocked and staff friendly. There is a lovely space to sit outside in the evenings while enjoying cocktails (included with all inclusive). I never felt the need to leave the hotel in the evenings. I would definitely return to this hotel as the price you pay is very good value for what you get. Collapse

We arrived expecting the worse due to previous reviews. We had booked a week away alone with no children after a busy year. Usually used to 4-5 star we knew we weren’t going to get that due to the price. We arrived around lunch time greeted by a lovely man on reception who directed us to our “bungalow”. The 2 storey bungalow was spotless , yes a little dated, but we knew we were only sleeping there, the beds were sooooo comfy and the pillows were spot on. Sunbed were plentiful, probably the time of year . Beer and cocktails were fantastic we tried them all!!! The FOOD ... well I really can honestly say was really good!! My husband and I enjoyed every meal we had there, from full cooked brekkie to meat and 2 veg for tea!! Lunch was plentiful too with always a choice. The staff were excellent and worked tirelessly , from the cleaners to the bar staff a big thumbs up! The curtesy bus into town was a great asset , although we did walk it a couple of times (20 mins) as it was a beautiful walk around the nature reserve but as it was so hot (33) the bus was an easier option coming back. All in all we had a great week here and for the money we paid we really were pleasantly surprised! Collapse

We travelled here as 4 adults and 4 teenagers for 10 nights in May 2017. The rooms are pretty basic, but clean and spacious, the kids slept downstairs and we're happy with their own space. We loved the little patio to sit out on, especially my parents who often sat out to read on there during the day when it was too hot to lay round the pool. The food was pretty basis but we always found something to eat, we really enjoyed breakfast. The evening entertainment is outside and is pretty basic but our boys were happy to make their own entertainment. The complex is very safe that they can wander around mixing with others. Our boys loved all the activities during the day, be it football, water polo or any of the other games Alfredo put on. We have actually booked to go back during the Easter holidays 2018. Overall the we had a lovely holiday, the accommodation is good, the food is edible, the kids loved it and we're very safe, they made tons of mates and the weather was fab. Collapse
