Did not expect too much I don't think but the first thing that greeted us was a towel on the floor by back door, this we ascertained was because door was rotten at the bottom and did not fit flush all round and although cleaners came in 3 times during our week this towel was never moved. Had to give it a real hard push to get open from inside. Very basic accommodation but beds were comfortable and plenty of storage space Now for the minus points. Fridge was well passed it's sellby date. No cover on icebox and it was clogged up with ice. Outside was rusty, Cold tap in bathroom basin would not work but we reported this and it was fixed. Lots of very bad marks on walls and tables also had rings on them where cups had been. Could not open window in bedroom or lounge at back so in summer this would be unbearable as no aircon. Leaflet given on checkin said wifi 20euros or 7 days but when we went to book it this was not the case only 4 days for this price. Shop was very handy and was stocked with all necessities, ie bread, milk etc. All staff were very pleasant. These bungalows are in desperate need of some tlc and unless this happened I would not return it's a shame as they are in a great position for all amemities. Collapse

A mixed group of 9 of us stayed for one week over New Year, family of 4 with 11 and 17yr old, family of 3 with a 17yr old and a couple with no kids. Mixed reactions to accommodation from the 3 rooms. Personally our room was ok, clean but furniture a bit tatty and tired, comfortable enough as a base and somewhere to sleep for one week but in need of an update. We only used one of the wardrobes as one smelt fusty and damp (but it did back on to the shower so maybe that was the problem) the spare blankets in the cupboard were also a bit musty. Decent enough size, bathroom ok, maid service every other day with clean towels so no complaints there. Our friends did have problems with their bedding, they said it smelt and asked for it to be changed. Hotel staff changed the bedding but said the replacement wasn't much better. The complex itself is good, very tidy and well kept all on one level, the pool was clean and had plenty of free sun loungers although the temperature was only for the brave (or vey stupid!!!). Nice pool bar with drinks and snacks which we used a few times, friendly staff and food ok. We used Tommy Nutters for breakfast which is across the road and tucked away just up the hill, great "Beer Soaker" breakfast which was just what we needed on New Years Day, great friendly service and a good breakfast. The Fuertasol is in a great location, a 10 minute walk from the town centre and beach and five minutes to the bus station. Very pleasantly surprised with Caleta De Fuste, a good mix of places to eat and drink, some nice shops and lovely Marina/promenade which looks like it's going through some improvements. We will definitely return in the summer. A few places we would recommend to try would be Fado Rock Restaurant (steakhouse with a good range on the menu), The Great Wall (Chinese restaurant), 555 (Tapas/Moroccan menu) Tommy Nutters (great breakfast) and Piero's music cafe and bar where we spent a great New Years Eve!!! We ventured in to the square just before midnight for a great firework display and entertainment to welcome in 2017. Collapse

Clean pool, poolside cleaned every night with good quality sun beds. Great location just 10 mins walk from centre/beach/bars/restaurants. The quality of the bungalows were not 2 star but could be with a good coat of paint and repair. We complained the bathroom light not working, terrible cup stains on dining room table, coffee and side tables and within few hours bulb replaced and furniture changed. Why this was not done in the first place I do not know. We should complain more instead of putting up with it then it would be a better place. No TV or Wi-Fi but we didn't need either. Nice hot shower and small bath. Kitchen adequate for us as we ate out. Fridge not great but clean. M/W clean. I paid £15pppn with Booking.com so we got good value for money but I was pleased I did not pay anymore. No burglary that we knew off. We got our patio door fixed as that was not secure enough. Reception closed at 8pm but you can just walk into the bungalows from the front. If I had to change anything I think a gate on the front after hours with each bungalow having a key to get in would be a good safely idea. Collapse

On the 25th November 2016 we stayed here on a self catering basis. Our room was number 223 located just behind the swimming pool. The room was very clean and tidy with enough cutlery and crockery for our needs. The beds were comfy with enough spare blankets and pillows. The small bar in the complex was very nice, serving a vast array of beverages with very friendly and helpful staff ALEX and INDINA .There are plenty of other bars and restaurants within a five minute walk of the complex and the beach and loads of shops are close by. The complex is very close to the markets which are held on Sundays and Tuesday selling a vast array of products from handbags to jewellery and local crafts. All in all as we were on a limited budget we had a fab week weather wise and the bungalows and complex was ideal for what we required and we would come back here. Collapse
